It was really a good stay, beside the fact of requested and reserved the bed size we didnt get.

Location was perfect, the facilities inmaculate and the looks really good.

In my reservation was selected to have two queen size beds and thats what we paid for but when we have our rooms we didnt get them instead we end up with full wize beds not exactly what we wanted and not pay for.

The hotel is obviously under needed remodeling but the staff was very accommodating .

The staff was great. The bartender/server was efficient, pleasant and really made our stay great with getting us our dinner as well as a couple beers.

There was no soap in our room. No bar soap on the sink and the body wash decanter was empty in the shower. Fortunately I had snagged a bar of soap from a previous hotel stay - so we were ok.

Fair

The staff were friendly for the most part. I did have an issue with my phone while I was talking to the front desk so I walked down to the desk and told her that’s why it disconnected us. She never offered to have it looked at. It would have been nice to have that addressed without having to ask.

Booked a king room and got 2 double beds. They said we booked through a second party so they don’t have to honor it. Hotel wasn’t that busy so I felt that could have been handled better and it didn’t say anywhere in our booking that that was the policy. Hot tub jets didn’t work very well. Carpet in the room was pretty worn in areas and the chair looked like something had scratched it up.

Overall it went well

Overall my stay was very pleasant. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.

The heater in the room made no sense at all. It kept changing back and forth from blowing hot air to blowing cold air. So either I would get too hot or get too cold. When it was blowing heat it was rattling very loudly. I believe this is one of the main reasons why I got poor sleep that night.

Couples 2 weeks leisure stay

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Very Comfy Bed. Location great, bus stops right outside to Downtown and Mall of America. Car Hire at Budget just a short walk away. Cycle Hire an REI an even shorter walk away. Shops and Takeaways just across road.

Chlorine type smell around front doors and lobby, possibly due to swimming pool facilities. Superficial issues, such as no skirting in hallway, due to ongoing renovations, which is signposted to guests. Breakfast of limited quality and selection.
