Not pleasant as in the past years

The studio was very small and the sofa bed for my grandson opened right in front of our bed and did not leave enough space to pass through. The sofa bed was old and with broken sorings. We asked for a larger room even a 1 b dro but we were told it was not available with our plan with you guys. The bathtub was high and my husband in a wheelchair could hardly get in to shower. They gave us a tubchair but the climbing in the bathtub was still hard. They clean the room invece every 4 days and we had to keep asking for daily towels and toilet paper. We were disappointed at our 4th stay in these premises . Management changed and for worse. Pool was also not cleaned daily…

Great experience at a well-located oceanside hotel

Room was very spacious and comfortable. The ocean views from the room were fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped. The hotel is well-located just outside an outdoor mall (Whaler's village) and nice restaurants, and along the Kaanapali boardwalk. Staff was very helpful - especially Chery the concierge who really helped us revise our plans for our Hana trip in face of a tropical storm.

Terrace was noisy due to air-conditioning of the nearby Whaler's village. Snorkeling rental was very expensive - we bought instead at the nearby ABC for a cheaper price.

Romantic, breathtaking views and the location was close to everything (restaurants,, shopping, etc.)

Our room was absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated. We had a nice sized lanai that overlooked beautiful landscaping, the pool, and Pacific Ocean.

It was great having a kitchen for making our own meals, and handling left overs.

The view from the lanai was much better than I expected. Being on the top floor above neighboring hotels gave us an incredible view of Black Rock.

The shower could use an upgrade, but it was very functional, and we had no issues with water pressure or temperature control.

Love the location and cleanliness but would love reception staff to make guests feel welcome

great views and location, clean comfortable room, excellent and very helpful concierge services

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff at the reception desk leaves much to be desired: there were no proper information on amenities, no real friendliness, questions met with annoyed looks on the faces. I usually don’t care much about this stuff but given that most interactions with them left the same impression I wanted to point this out. When we checked out they didn’t even ask how our stay was and were only interested in getting the final invoice signed.

extremely expensive for what you get

Located on a nice beach, close to restaurants. The room was quite big with a nice balcony from where you could see the ocean.

Quite oldish furniture and the overall setup for the room. We have paid 700usd per night which didnt include any meals. Although this is rated as 5stars hotel i would hardly give it 4stars. Definetelly didnt worth spending 700 usd /night.

The nicest place we’ve ever stayed with a family of four on a private beach.

Great condo with a breathtaking view and beach access.

If I had to add something I would say a restaurant would be nice. it was very close, walking distance, to Whalers Village which wasn’t bad.

Great location

The location is great. It's by the Kaanapali Beach and next to the Whaler's Village where you can go to lot of shops. You can see the beautiful sunset. The beach has brown sand but very clean. We used the valet service in the property everyday which is really nice. Valet staff were so friendly. The property is clean. Our room is big.

This condo hotel does not have a lot of amenities. The pool is small so it was crowded. No free breakfast. No restaurants in the property. Nothing much going on or to do in the hotel. It's just overpriced. I guess because it's Maui. A big disappointment was getting our car through valet service at 5:30 AM for an early start on our drive on the road to Hana. Nobody was at the front desk or the lobby. I had to find somebody and found a staff who was at the back office at the far corner busy on her computer. I told her about getting my car. She said would call Security at that time. Nobody showed up after 30 minutes. I kept on following up and she said she's been calling through radio. Another staff arrived at 6 AM. It turned out that the night staff was new and was calling Security at the wrong channel. She needs better orientation of her new job. What happens in case of emergency? We got our car after 40 minutes of waiting and a later start of our drive. We stayed in room 816. I complained about no hot water. A maintenance guy came. The shower knob was reversed. Hot water is turning the knob to blue and cold water to red zone. The front desk staff should have known this to warn guests or this issue should have been fixed to avoid inconvenience.
