We had plans to climb Mt. Snefels as a family and wanted to stay closer to the mountain. We wanted to avoid an early morning drive of 3-4 hours.
I was allowed to park my car at the lodge while we did the climb. The owners are awesome!
Everything seems so expensive these days. I wish it was more reasonably priced.

The smell of cooking onions permeated my room in the morning. I reported to front desk . They said theyd look into it. Absurd! My room appeared to be over the owner room. They didnt know they were cooking onions? Come on the room became uninhabitable.

Clean place, very friendly owners and staff, loved the smores idea and the liquid hand soap is so much better than those little bars. This place had everything we needed and we would definitely recommend to others.

Expensive (over $300 a night when I stayed), and the soap / shampoo smelled weird

The location was absolutely beautiful as well as convenient to a beautiful river trail and the hot spring.
The lack of options for coffee in the room as the front was closed early . The bathtub had hairs in it that I had to clean out for my little to take a shower as well.

Very clean and comfortable. I felt safe as a single traveler. I was able to park right outside of my room on the main level.
No continental breakfast and there weren't many restaurants open. I k ew that would be the case since I'm traveling in off season so I brought some oatmeal, etc.

I would have liked a continental breakfast but I did bring my own food and there is a grocery store. Not too any restaurants open but I went in off season so it was expected.

We did not eat breakfast on site but ate in Ridgeway recommended by Pat.
Parking is a bit limited but we were able to find parking as we went in and out. It is just a bit difficult pulling in and out but you must be patient.

Location was fine, staff friendly and helpful.
Not much space in the room for 2 people to relax, unless 1 was in the bed.

We had toilet issues early on . . .fixed quickly and without any issues afterwards. The staff was exceptionally helpful. They gave us towels so we didn't have to rent them at $10 each at the hot springs. SOOOO sweet.
