Absolutely loved it! I checked in with Kristan and got an amazingly warm welcome and wonderful recommendations on places to eat and sights to see! We had great conversations and all the other staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming too. They even adviced against one of the tours I wanted to take, giving me a little breakdown of how I'd be saving money if I went to those places on my own. I very much appreciated that!
The location is great, just at the edge of downtown so there's not a lot of noise but it's still close enough to walk to the main attractions like the Riverwalk, the Mall, Tower of Americas and so much more. I never took an Uber or public transportation since everything is within a 10 minute walk from the hotel, apart from coming back at night but that was my personal preference.
The room was clean, comfortable and big. I actually couldn't get pictures to show everything because of how spacious it was!
I honestly think this was my favourite hotel to stay at out of five during my two week vacation. I felt very much at home and wished I could've stayed longer. I'll definitely be coming back if I'm in San Antonio again and would recommend it to everyone!
Either the walls are thin or one of my neighbours had a very good and very loud time together aka I heard them during their nightly activities. I woke up during the night and could hear almost everything, I didn't really care much because I sleep with music anyway but that could put people off.
Most of the time I was out the whole day and the bar was usually closed when I came back after 11pm (during the week) which was a bummer for me.
The WiFi wasn't that good so during calls/video calls I'd have to turn it off since my phone reception was better.
If you want housekeeping service you have to request it, which wasn't an issue for me since I didn't need it.
For me personally, the bed was a little on the harder side.

THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AT ALL TIMES. ALWAYS WITH A PLEASANT SMILE AND COMMENT TOWARDS US AND OUR STAY.
GREAT SERVICE, NO BAD REVIEW OR FEEDBACK.

Great property. Hotel room was magnificently but unfortunately the walls are not sound proof and noise from outside or inside was heard across the whole place.
Noisy and a little tiny

What's not to like!!! Room seemed bigger than most hotel rooms. And it's So close to everything.
You have to request room service. But big deal, it was still a great place.

Friendly staff. Easy parking.
We had to walk through the bar to get to our room, and one patron bothered me and my daughters. So, we refused to go back down stairs the rest of the night.

Perfect hotel for a layover night in San Antonio when traveling by Amtrak train. Everyone was very professional and helpful. We arrived around midnight and were scheduled to leave San Antonio around 6:25am the next morning. Luckily, our train was delayed so we got to sleep later and enjoy the breakfast provided instead of eating on the run.
I wish the hotel had brought back their full hot breakfast. A shuttle would have been convenient but we did hire an Uber driver.

The place was not what we expected at all

I love the location and the service. The facilities are also exceptional
The continental breakfast was not that good, It was mostly a frozen breakfast burrito and some frozen muffins. The coffee was good and so were the selection of juices.

This hotel is excellent and in a great location. The Alamo is a quick 15 minute walk away. The staff are very kind and helpful. The room was so clean and everything worked well from the Wifi to the hot water. I'll be staying there again for sure.
The breakfast is something that can be improved.
There was not much variety available, but it was better than nothing.

This was a very nice quaint place. The desk staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. I would definitely make this my go to place when staying near the river walk.
We had a great time and do not see a need for any changes.

Poor breakfast. Location was bad. I thought I would be closer to the river walk. Some one ha taillight stolen from trick in hotel parking lot. Rooms smelled moldy. No shower curtain.
Everything. Would not recommend. Paid 169 dollas /night.

Convenience to the train station and to the river walk

I love how inviting and well-decorated this hotel was! It is affordable (and nice) because it is not right in the middle of River Walk, but it is plenty close enough—I promise. We were able to park in the hotel lot and walk to the Alamo as well as to Tower of the Americas. Bring your water bottle as you enjoy the sites, sign up for free Alamo tickets the night before (online), and know you can enjoy Tower of the Americas from the bar area without having to get a reservation for the moving table area.
House-keeping needs to dust all areas—including on top of shelves. (I’m tall; I can see it all.)

The facility was dated but clean considering the construction going on on the property. Was able to walk to the Alamo & RiverWalk. Overall it was okay
