Unexpected Surprise at Graduate Hilton!

The location and the building's beauty

The 2-night reservation price including all taxes was $497.35, but my credit card was charged a total of $524.74 under the hotel arrival fee. I am requesting a refund for the unfair $27.39 charge because it was outside of our agreement and I did not report it early. Thanks, Murat

Cconvenient, charming yet…

Great location, front desk staff lovely, low key and helpful. Room fun, interesting and not generic. Good soundproofing and far fewer little electronic lights than usual which I often have to cover to have it dark enough to sleep!

Not straightforward to find reception when you enter the main doors. First floor full of people eating fast food, studying, holding meetings. Cross between the student union and the library. Also, a cardinal sin, instant coffee only provided. Seriously? For a properly this pricey?

IT WAS GOOD.

BASED ON THE PRICE, I THOUGHT THE ROOMS WOULD BE NICER AND THE MEALS MORE REASONABLE. WE WERE TOLD BREAKFAST WOULD BE INCLUDED AND OF COURSE IT WAS NOT. HOWEVER, THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT. THANK YOU!

This is a clean, comfortable, and convenient hotel on the U of M campus.

It was super clean, and upscale yet comfortable. It’s right on the University campus.

The rooms are a little small.

Excellent accommodations!!!

Within walking distance to Mariucci arena (attended the Gopher/Bulldog hockey game). Parking on property ($28/day) or across street in public parking garage ($15/day) with a skywalk to hotel. Starbucks , Chick FIL-A and The Beacon restaurant located within hotel. A great selection of restaurants and coffee shops a few steps from hotel. Nice, clean and quirky decor in our room. Will definitely stay here again. Very safe area.

The location and amenities provided were appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean.

There were a few discrepancies in communication and printed/digital material. In the room it tells you to reference a field guide given at check in for instructions to utilize the phone. When we inquired at the front desk, as we didn’t receive one, the representative wasn’t aware of the guide. We finally found the guide after signing into the wifi and it referenced a complimentary shuttle. When we asked how to utilize the shuttle we were told it was no longer in use. Lastly there was a mildewy smell in the lobby the entire trip that was unpleasant.

The hotel stay is part of the great memories made with friends and family on this trip!!

Location was fabulous. We were there for a concert, the train system was perfect. Front desk staff and manager were very friendly and helpful. Loved the classic vibe of the hotel. Would highly recommend.

That parking is extra, but the staff were very accommodating and offered alternative spots if hotel parking lot full.

Great hotel, great student feel at the perfect location on campus.

Great location. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Great student feeling. I'll always stay here from now on whenever I come to the twin cities.

It would be great if there was an option to get access to the UMN gym as a hotel guest (who is not a student / professor yet).

Cool Vibe & Exceptional Service

The staff was AMAZING. I needed a battery in the middle of the night (when everything was closed) for a medical reason and they found one for me. They recommended cheaper parking and were great about giving us extended check-out time. Every time I spoke with the front desk they were upbeat and ready to help.

There is a $25 parking fee per night that I hoped was included in the stay. Our shower wasn't cleaned well, but everything else was immaculately clean.
