Great hotel, but not optimal for work

Great friendly hotel, rooms are very well thought out, but not large. Value proposition is excellent. Free drip coffee on main floor throughout day, communal fridge on the main floor if needed, free drink upon checkin.

Not good for work - there is a stool and small foldup table, which certainly suffices for short email checks etc. But if you plan to spend a few hours hacking away in your room, it won't be super comfortable.

Fine if you’re staying a single night, don’t bring much, and Uber everywhere, not for longer stays.

It had a bunch of interesting gimmicks and the staff was nice. The pillows are great too. They did lock the doors at night to keep the homeless and other people out. They are very pet friendly.

The Uptown area has gone to crap since I visited. Very sketchy, and trash everywhere on the sidewalks. We did not feel comfortable or safe walking around. There is no parking at the location so had to park in a parking garage each night and pray the car was there in the morning. The rooms are clean but cramped and not built for function. The bathroom door has no lock and the bathroom itself has WINDOWS into the room. The windows are some sort of wavy glass so it’s not completely transparent but you better be comfortable with your roommate or be prepared. There are no closets or drawers so no place to put things. There’s no fan in the bathroom so the walls are crying after a hot shower and we ran the faucet for privacy for going to the bathroom. The deadbolt didn’t work. The TV service kept cutting out every couple of minutes. The fridge was communal and the fitness center is an actual bicycle on a stand. I would not return.

Very nice place you have there and i hope to return...

The person that was at check in on Saturday the 16th about 1:30 pm when i arrived was awesome and extremely helpful. The location to the event i was going were close and an easy walk.Loved the area and Hotel hope to come back and would highly recommend.

The ironing booth, free coffee, staff very friendly

Room had no place to put folded clothings into, no safe inside rooms, no cooked food or breakfast with limited coffee shops in the area. Bottom line not good value foe money

Salsa night on Sunday goes to 3am. I could hear it from the 3rd floor.

Looks nice.

3 days and housekeeping never came. Almost certain the sheets were not clean on arrival. Nothing worked properly, including the window shades, the bolt on the door, the TV.

Wish had more food service for those of us who want to stay and eat at hotel after long day of travel. That is an important service for me. And in-room coffee so I don't have to get dressed to go down for a cup. Not a fan of packaged cold deli food.

Friendly, but not too comfortable.

The staff was wonderful and the amenities were awesome.

The room was very much form over function. It felt very cold and unwelcoming. The white brick and black floors felt more like a bar than a hotel room. The shower didn't have any kind of lip that kept the water in, it was just level with the floor. This, in combination with a short shower curtain, made it so that the water from the shower would cover the floor of half of the bathroom. An accident prone person could easily slip. The chair in the room was more like an art piece than furniture. Not very comfortable. Overall, I like the vibe of the hotel, but I think it bleeds to much into the necessities of the hotel room.

the aesthetics were nice, not necessarily comfortable.

the shower wasn’t clean. some red stuff was in the wall. truly didn’t know if it were blood or not. hairs on the shower wall, and not just one or two.
