Cute place

The beach was a 30 second walk away and the west wing we stayed in was very spacious. It was a basement so it was musty and a bit moldy but nothing that was bad. They were very nice and attentive to us, i would definitely return.

Really not a lot to complain about. The wing we stayed in was a bit dark and dingy. Wifi was advertised but not available which upset the kids in the evening. The shower was raised some so my nephews head hit the ceiling. He did tell us that when we arrived but that would have been nice to have known ahead of time.

Waste of money saw online pricing was different then I was charged wouldn’t even refund the differen

The room was outdated the beds were very uncomfortable there were cracks in the walls stains on the carpet and you are not allowed any guests whatsoever. Also the owners son watches you and what you are doing and walks around property makes guests very uncomfortable. Was given mismatched towels and one roll of toilet paper upon check in. You would think for $300 a night the decor wouldn’t look like you were in the 60s. Also when I booked apparently rates were different then when I was there according to their online sight I should have been paying 186 per night instead of the 300 per night I was charged. When I asked the staff about it she said rates change everyday and you already paid ahead. You would think you would refund the difference but didn’t happen

Nice homelike stay.

Small pool was nice. Beach/boardwalk right across street. Quaint old home, not your typical hotel room. Nice porch to relax. Staff was very nice and responsive to needs.

Kitchen sink was leaking badly upon arrival. Staff fixed it the next day.

Cute place close to the oceanfront. Convenient location. Very friendly staff. Very old kitchen set up but I liked it. It included everything I needed.

Happy with location.

Appliances were very old and small. Never saw an oven that small. Never saw a fridge handle like this one.A glass pane in bathroom was brush painted white. Bed location along wall very inconvenient.

Kitchenette loaded with the basics gave this place an edge since I was bored with eating out and preferred to create my own dinner. Freezer compartment in mini fridge worked. Good lighting, quaint decor and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony the next morning.

Noise level was unacceptable owing to construction across the street at a hotel undergoing renovation. Coil stove took forever to heat up so that I could gently simmer my summer squash and flounder filets. How annoying. Refrigerator, which shared a wall with neighbors, required a forceful slam to get the door shut.

Too bad thee pride of ownership is lacking

The staff and location

Poorly maintained..dated and peeling interior and exterior.....cracked interior walls... sad...because it's a nice property..but it doesn't seem like the owners take pride in the property.. A little paint and decor from Walmart will go a long way!

It was a little slice of Heaven, while dealing with a water leak in my home.

This reminded me of the Virginia Beach I moved to 51 years ago. I stayed in a very quaint cottage, an easy walk to the ocean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

The sheets were too stiff for my taste. That's really my only complaint. I was quite comfortable.

Room and bathroom was exceptionally clean and very well taken care of. Very much loved the VERY vintage stove set up and EVERY THING worked.

We paid for any " Oceanview" room and ended up only seeing cars go by people walking by and all the hotels in front of us. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A VIEW OF THE OCEAN...ovet 200 bucks a nite for ocean view and didnt have..over 200 bucks a nite and the pool closed at 8pm...over 200 bucks a nite and NO ice machine...over 200 bucks a nite and had too park our car almost a block away...and over 200 bucks a nite and out doors didnt even have a deadbolts.

Ok but could be great with a a bit of effort

Location! Across the street from beach. Room was quaint and retro. Clean. Enjoyed the balcony

Man at desk seemed crabby, never saw him smile for 5 days. The woman was friendly and even waved at me when shecsaw me. Door lock was fussy. Didnt work sometimes. Had to have it sprayed with WD-40 but it still didn't work everytime. Strict no visitor policy. We came to visit family but couldnt have our brother over for a visit. I get they want it quiet. I do too. No shampoo. There is a dispenser (unsure what soap is supposed to be in there). It was empty. Had to use the same bar soap to wash hands and shower. Only one roll of TP. Our family was there 5 days. We ran out. Bummer, Had to go to the office to ask for some. Pool was small, clesn but doesnt open till 10 and closes at 8.

Short distance to the beach

The appartment was gross, worn down, old and dark. The stove was probably from the 50ies and the kitchen utilities were poor, same with the beds. If it had’nt been nonrefundable we would never have stayed 5 min at this overpriced place.

Old but super cute and we enjoyed it

The location was awesome. It is an older place, so nothing fancy but it is clean and exactly what we needed. A bed and a balcony!

The parking was tight - but they provided parking! No elevator, which would be a problem for some, I didn't mind except for carrying up luggage.
