Location.
I couldn't get the ironing board to stand. Someone prior to me may have broken it
3.5
It was clean except the shower walls.
Very noises at night. Bed very firm. Pillows were not comfortable.
Hairs on the shower walls.

The location was quiet convenient
The exterior of the hotel is very shabby and look’s unkept. There was a very strong smell from the room (must be from the cleaning detergents), and beds made SO much noise. I woke myself every time I turned over in the sleep because the bed creaked and squeaked very loudly. The wifi was spotty and I couldn’t even make video calls to friends in the next town, let alone to Canada to check on my kids.
3.5
It was close to the Arena- was there for a concert
That there was no parking on the side of the hotel where we stayed-it was reserved for the hotel across from us.

Breakfast - ok
Location - good
Was not what appeared on website.

The room 'looked' good, looked redone, fresh.
The massive amount of baby caterpillar looking bugs that appeared that evening and were in massive amounts by morning, ALL over the floor! Gross!

Proximity to brew pubs and restaurants.
I had no a smoking room, but people gathered at top of stairs outside my room to smoke. With the visible gaps in the door jamb & air drawn into a/c unit, cigarette & pot smoke wafted into my room. Ashes were tapped onto the outside portion of a/c unit along with a few roaches scattered b/w top of stairs & my door. The next day I saw lots of standing ashtrays along the walkways, so it may not be avoidable, but better door seals would be a good start. See attached photo.

I was comfortable during my stay. It’s affordable, staff was nice, they had breakfast, and the location was convenient for me. They also had a fridge and a microwave. It really helped me to keep and warm my food that I came with from out of state :)

Location
Dirty clothes left in front of a room door. The breakfast was low quality.

Quiet.
Had two guys banging on my door at 12.

We loved that it had lots of sleeping and living space and a washer and dryer. The kids loved the miniature golf and game room.
We had trouble with the bracelet keys not working more than once.

location.
it was run down. sketchy people. felt very unsafe and very dirty.
3.5
The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is sufficient for a one night's stay. The location is also pretty close to UVA and the train station.
Was hoping for some more variety in breakfast foods (mostly bread, waffles, and cereal, no protein options). There are also no ceiling lights in the rooms, only lamps, so it may get dark during the night.

People in the next room were loud all night until 4am.

The breakfast was good not a great selection. The cleanliness was great the room an lobby. The room however a little small.
The room sizes is small you can’t sit in chair or on the toilet without hitting your knees and I am 5’ tall so … other than that room was very nice.

There was a fight outside our door just felt like we were in danger. there workers didn't talk English didn't feel welcome with guy blowing leaves like he was watching what room u entered

I liked when I got my money back, I couldn't sleep in there!
The room was dirty, the beds had stains on the sheets, it was just an overall shady place. The door had an inch opening in that Was not satisfied at all. I didn't stay, I got my money back.
3.5
Did not feel safe. Door didn’t have an extra lock. Fighting going on in the outside. Dirty wash cloth remained in bathroom. Burn holes in blanket on bed. Cigarette burns on tub. Shampoo bottle half full when we arrived.

The location Staff were friendly and helpful
that it was a exterior door opening location. that was not clear on the website description and the pictures are taken in such a way that that is not seen. The walls are paper thin and I could hear the people beside me and as they walked by on the sidewalk

The staff was friendly
I've stayed here on Sundays in the last month or two and I've never had any complaints but last night when we checked into our room I went to take a shower and it's happened never been cleaned from the room being rented the night before there was hair all in the tub and the floors are awful I had a new pair of socks on and I went to sit down and raise my butt in the bottoms on my socks or black I know that everybody gets busy and overlooks things but that floor has been overlooked seems like months as black as my socks were and they were white by the way I think as much money as we put out to be able to stay there that we should at least get a discount before we shower we're in the city on business and when we come in from work you know we just want to settle down and take a shower but that wasn't the case last night so you might want to look into these complaints and make sure the floors are done otherwise I have no issues
