Asked for non- smoking room. We’re put in a room that had a strong smoke odor. Was definitely smoked in, if not a smokers room. Places right outside the pool area- not so quiet when kids and families are 10 feet from your window.
Placed in a non smoking room as requested. Asked if pool side was okay vs placing us there

The staff was very helpful, the room was one of the best I've stayed in for this class of hotels and the bed was really comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised.
Everything was great

Your remodel was done well,, I've stayed in some places with poor quality workmanship. Clean & well maintained. I would like to have a hot breakfast like most quality inns where I stay
'Breakfast' was disappointing

The room was clean and the staff was great. We were in and out quickly with help of staff. Everything inside the room was in order.
The door did not close properly to the exterior. This allowed for cigarette and pot smoke to enter our room all through the night. The most challenging part was the parking lot. The constant passing of non-guest traffic was very uncomfortable. The dog alerted us 5 times to people near our car. They all appeared drunk. The beer cans and trash around the stairs and vehicles in the morning was enough to fill a dumpster. This property seriously needs active security officers patrolling the property to keep guests safe and prevent loitering.

What an amazing team! I forgot my mobile phone at the hotel and I realised when I was already 200 miles away. Dave, the manager made sure that it returned save and sound to me in Memphis. I’m ever so grateful for their kindness and care for sending me my phone but also for their attention during our stay. They were really wonderful. The room was clean and we even run a hot bath which was very nice. The bed comfy and breakfast had fruit and heathy options, which is a refreshing change compared to other inns, you just have to find a place to eat it.

Fresh, clean and updated!
Breakfast could use some non sugary cereals. Plus a few tables to eat breakfast would be better. The beds had metal skirts which sounded like steel drums if you happened to hit them with your feet.

I liked the location
There was smears on the pictures and alarm clock. The shower curtain smelled of mildew/mold. The hand towels were dirty and had black stuff on them.

They charged us twice. We were told our debit card was declined. So we paid with our capital one card. Then we informed the manager it was not pending on debit but it did pay overnight. They assured us it would be reversed. It still has not been . Other than this very bad thing the rooms are newly redone but very very tiny space inside room. Skinny people will bump butts . Neighborhood worried us frankly . No one should go thru this double charge fiasco on a family trip. Funds are tight.
We thought room was way small. The location was ok but the place is noisy

the location
The employee was rude. The room was dirty, and the price was too high for what we got.

We were late so no double rooms were available on the ground floor. The staff was very nice and accommodated us on the ground floor.
No extra bed was available for the single room we got

There was no breakfast
I booked a room with two queens and paid extra for it. We received a small room with one bed. I talked to the front desk and they said they don’t have two queen beds available.

shower was ok
Room smelled, outside needed paint, bad bed, no blanket, 3 skinny old pillows. The room was disgusting and overpriced for the quality. pictures were misleading. the whole area where hotels are stinks. I would have left but we could not find other rooms.

What breakfast?!
My sister and I recently booked rooms at Greentree Inn in Santa Fe, NM, through Booking.com. It was a disgusting experience.
The first night it was necessary to remove a column of ants from the sheet before I could get into bed. As one might imagine, it was very difficult to sleep after that. After finally drifting off in the wee hours, I was awakened at 4:30 a.m. by a flashing light and the braying of a fire alarm next to my window. No one bothered to investigate, and this went on for some time.
The next day there was no hot water. We were told it would be fixed by afternoon. That evening and the next two days, there still was no hot water.
Additionally,
- there was no coin machine available when I wanted to use the washing machine.
- there were no tissues available in our rooms
- the single chair in the room was falling apart
- the drapes were falling apart
- I’ve found better smelling hand soaps in gas stations
- and the paint was badly chipped.
We knew we were not getting a luxury hotel when we chose this motel, but had no idea we’d be stuck in such a noisy, pest-ridden hole on a busy weekend when there were no alternatives available. We thought Greentree Inn’s affordable $407 fee seemed reasonable, until we stayed there. Now we think Greentree Inn/Booking.com should pay us for staying in the dump.

I was promptly move to a better room after there was issues with the first one. Also front desk night porter allowed me to borrow a wall plug charger. Givin this location has no USB plugs

Comfy bed
Facilities not as described..no coffee or coffee maker, no hairdryer, no hangers in wardrobe and when we asked for coffee machine, they only said they had one coffee sachet (so not enough for both of us!) and they told us they didn't keep any creamer. We chose this hotel on facilities advertised and found it to be one of the more expensive options on our road trip so we were very disappointed
