I like proximity to Taos Plaza. My room was decorated nicely.

Breakfast was made to order. Due to medical restrictions I am nearly vegetarian and they were able to accommodate me easily. The dining room is spacious and was never crowded.
I wished that the fireplace was working, but the heater did fine keeping the room comfortable in December.

A historic inn it was located right in center of Taos and had parking right in front of our unit. The breakfast was excellent— made to order and plentiful. Beautiful lounge and rooms spacious. Staff friendly and accommodating. If weather was warmer would have enjoyed private courtyard.

We loved the location. The breakfast was good. We also liked having our room clean
I would have preferred to have meat with my breakfast but the breakfast was still good

The rooms were quaint and cozy and the complimentary breakfast was amazing!
the beautiful lobby is only open until 7pm, would love if it was open till a bit later.

Clean, comfortable, large, quiet room. Centrally located so that we walked to restaurants, shops and galleries. We will stay here again.
Our greeter was rude, which is 180 degrees from what the owner/operator is like. He is delightful. Our staff at breakfast were lovely. Wish we had known about this terrific place earlier.

The hotel is in a good location and near various eateries. It has a nice theme and very homey. The breakfast was well; simply awesome! Very down to earth and authentic feel in the dining area and you have to try the oatmeal with yogurt. The oatmeal was really good and topped with peaches and he best tasting yogurt ever. Then we opted for the eggs smothered in red chile sauce. That was the highlight of staying there.
I don't really want to say that we didn't like something, but here are a few things to consider, however keep in mind that not all rooms are the same.
We stayed in an upstairs room that was a bit tight. It was not an issue for us since we were there only for one night, but I don't think it would have suited us for more than three days. Our room also had a swamp cooler and at first we thought it might not cut it since other rooms had refrigerated air, but it actually worked out fine.

Authentic Santa Fe style rooms and office. Loved staying in an Old style room. Made to order breakfast. You can walk to the Plaza in less than 5 minutes.

Everything about the Casa Benavides Inn was amazing. Exceeded expectations in location, ambience, and staff. From the moment we entered the lobby with it's fabulous art and furnishings---what you would expect from a New Mexico artist's city to the way the staff was so welcoming and had everything ready for us. The rooms were amazing---the photos don't do them justice--they are better!!! I will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends and clients. It will be my new home away from home whenever I come to Taos! Thank you! ~Peach
All good!

The look and style are wonderful. The made to order breakfast was super. The homemade pecan muffin was the best muffin ever! We were headed to Taos Ski Valley and wanted to eat a lite breakfast, but after a couple bites...we couldn't stop. So good.
Overall we loved our stay. If we had to point to one thing that could improve, we'd vote for nicer, softer linens on the bed.

The breakfast was amazing and the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful
The sink in our room didn’t drain very well and the water pressure wasn’t the best
