The views, close to city.
The staff at front desks, I believe her name Monika, she is very helpful and generous.
We stayed 3 nights, NO cleaners came to clean our room. We had to ask for toilet papers.

Room was dirty, smelled musty, and in disrepair. Burned a scented candle overnight to overpower the smell.. The exterior of the room needs power washing and paint.

I think you guys where shutting down for the season so I had to go to a motel down the road to check in so there wasn't a breakfast option at that time. room was clean but the hot water for showers in the morning was anything but hot !

View
Staff was beyond rude. Room was a mold filled crime Scene. This is a scam to rip you off.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had all the basic amenities: mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, Spectrum TV. The view of the Mackinaw Bridge and Lake Michigan was unbeatable. It was what I expected for the price I paid and in Mackinaw City at this time of year, I felt like it was a bargain. The staff were friendly and accommodating when I asked for first floor instead of the second where I had been booked.
I had to go to another motel location to check in. They manage a few other motels next to each other and only one of them is staffed in the office so you have to drive over and check in and when you leave you drop the key there. In their defense, though, this may be another example of businesses these days finding it hard to keep staffed.

I loved the view from my room. The bed was comfortable, shower was hot. However, it is clearly and older hotel and needs updating, the price for the room was a little too much for the work that needs to be done. Also the porch light was out on my room so it made it hard to see when i had to go to my truck during the night. We were in room 16
The porch light needed replacing. The whole room needed an update. For the price i paid, i thought it was a bit underwhelming.

loved being right next to the water, short distance away from the city
our microwave didn't work and our refrigerator either made things too cold to the point where everything froze or it leaked water every where -- guests next to us or rooms down from us stole wood we bought to make fires :(

Amazing view of the bridge, right on Lake Huron. Ability to use the pool at Bridgeview or Sunrise Beach hotel. Three hotels in a row owned by the same people, Bells Melody, Sunrise Beach, and Bridgeview so if your room doesn't work ask for a new one.
Rooms need repair, they try very hard but the hotels are older and need repairs. No breakfast. Don't be afraid to ask for a new room, they really do try to accommodate

The "private beach" was the selling point of why we picked the property. Little did I know that EVERY other motel had a beach too. There was really nothing to like about our stay. Apparently the owner of this property owns three properties - Bridgeview, Sunrise and Northwoods. If any of them are like the Sunrise, check the properties closer to town. They are newer and have access to the lakeshore. It looks like they are more reasonably priced as well.
Where to start? We paid premium rates for a sub-par room. We had booked at the Bridgeview, but got moved to the Sunrise Beach motel. The rooms were dirty and ill-kept. One of our party had no working light in the bathroom. The same guest went to bed and found out that "housekeeping" didn't have the right size sheet. Instead of finding one, they put a smaller one cross-way on the bed so that the top & bottom of the mattress was exposed under the duvet. Broken lights, missing screen doors, rusty / dirty bathroom fixtures. Peeling paint. Dirty lampshades. Tissues between the bed and nightstand that weren't from us. Just overall disgusting.
When I retired to my room for the evening, I turned on the TV. Imagine my surprise when it didn't work. A little bit of investigating showed neither the TV or the cable box were plugged in. Seriously - thankfully I had enough knowledge to plug in and set it up. In fact, we had to move the coffee pot in order to use it - there weren't enough outlets where they had it sitting.

amazing location.. balcony is tiny but nice. price and staff nice.
The office is closed.. u check in about a min or 2 down the road at a different hotel. not a big deal unless u need ANYTHING. no extra towels to get.. no ice machine.. just silly. no hot water. luke warm at best for the whole weekend. old bed and bedding. not very cumfy. no do not disturb sign in room, assumed with covid they dont clean rooms.. somewhere between 2-4pm while we were gone .. they came and cleaned room. i wasnt the happiest knowing someone came while we were gone. beautiful view tho! nice fireplace spots outside. biggest complaint is no hot water. 3 days with cold showers was not fun! good priced tho!

Location was okay if the bridge had not been hidden by dense fog.
No outside light to see the door numbers which were very tiny. No convenient ice machine. Wife fell in shower, as there was no safety device--no mat or non-slip strips in tub. Went to the office and the clerk did not say "I am sorry" or "Were you hurt?" NOTHING! Lack of tub safety was probably a violation of state regulations.

location was excellent.
Check in time was 4P.M. could not check into the room until 5:20 P.M. Room smelled so badly of disinfectant that it took your breath away. The carpet in front of the door was not tacked down, causing a tripping hazard. There were dead bugs, ((misquotes and black flies) squashed on the walls and stuck behind the glass and pictures of the picture frames not to mention along the rim at the top of the bathtub. The small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot, were all stacked atop a cabinet, and looked like they would all fall to the ground at any minute.

Perfect location. Did not want to be around traffic or noise. It was very peaceful, not expensive for 3 days and the staff was very polite. Disappointed about hot tub not working onsite. Enjoyed my time and will be back next season. Hoping the hot tub will be fixedby then.

The view from the room was beautiful overlooking the lake. On a clear day, you can see Mackinaw island.
The room was dated. The bathroom looked like it had been updated. but, the refrigerator, microwave, and the other furniture in the room looked like it was from the '80s. Also, there were a few spider webs in the corner.

Ice bucket in room but no ice machine on property
