Newly renovated rooms. We got a room that had 2 king beds, a full kitchen, and a large bathroom and paid a total of $220 for 2 nights. This property is right next to the island, so it is very convenient. The beds were extremely comfortable. The heat worked excellent.

Within walking distance to stores and restaurants
Staff was very unfriendly. Daughter got locked in her room due to her deadbolt being broken. Staff tried to say we broke it. Not possible. They didn't seem too concerned about getting her out. Was told by them it would take 45 minutes for a locksmith to arrive so my wife called 911. They sent an officer who agreed to the door deadbolt being broken. Locksmith never came. Only their maintenance man who had no clue how to get the door open until I suggested a pry bar. Officer said he had one in the car and as I was loading my car he got the door open. Never, ever will I stay at the Mountain Vista Inn in Gatlinburg, Tn. I suggest Noone else stay there either unless they wanted to be treated like crap!!

The rooms were filthy front desk rude we booked 3 rooms we had to leave the property it’s was disgusting floor were dirty peoples dirty cloths left in the room pee on the toilet. Elevator broken was just disgusting

The size of the room.
The hotel itself. Very dirty, lack of staff,no maintenance of the hotel, broken equipment and furniture. I stayed in the penthouse apartment. But there was no working kitchen, no room cleaning, no fresh towels. The used furniture was broken, the kitchen table looked like it had mold growing in the seams of glass, the window blinds were broken. No water pressure, the towel rack was hanging off the wall. The hallway were dirty, the pool wasn't maintained. Very small parking lot and lobby. Not a good time at all.

There was NOTHING good about the property. Except was close to island.
It smelled really bad. Pool was very nasty. Had to park in another lot because they had dumpster in parking area. Rooms were nasty. Bathroom wasn't clean, hairs everywhere. Had to clean before I let my kids sleep and shower. Sheets was dirty. Housekeeping took items from our room and hotel did nothing about it. No storage area for your luggage. Pictures were nothing like online. Beds were not comfortable and very hard. Floors were nasty black. Light fixtures hanging and broken.
Staff didn't understand English very well. Then was never in office when you needed them. Waited 45 min in lobby for front desk clerk. Will never book here again.

Loved the location, within walking distance to a lot of attractions. Affordable for families. Can’t say enough about the view absolutely amazing.
I thought it could have been some cleaner. Found a couple of things when first arriving and entering the room that could have been cleaned a little better.
Also wish the pool area was bigger and cleaner. Pool water was lukewarm. Also an outdoor instead of indoor would be great.

There were holes in the wall, the lights in the room had electrical issues where the lights flickered on and off, there were multiple bugs in the room, the refrigerator door was heavily damaged, there was a construction dumpster propped on the sidewalk 3 feet outside the door where we had to walk around a large amount of trash just to enter the room. There were also long-term residents clearly living at the the hotel that looked to be unsavory. This was the most falsely advertised room I've ever seen. It looked like a death trap! When brought to the attention of the front desk, they agreed to refund the room since we were not going to stay. But when booking.com requested the refund they refused to approve it, gave me the run around about the owner being based in India and unable to contact him, and hung up on me. DO NOT STAY HERE! IT IS NOT SAFE OR CLEAN!

The room we stayed in left everyone's feet black on the bottom. The bathroom had mold around the ceiling and the walls. In the bathroom, there was also a pile of hair in the corner by the shower, the air conditioner hardly worked, and there were pubic hairs in the shower floor and walls. Please read google reviews when looking to stay at this hotel. Booking has positive reviews, however I should've also checked the reviews on google when booking as there have been roaches in the rooms as well I also left with bites on my arms from something, though they weren't from bed bugs.

Location was great, walking distance to everything like the island and shops on the main strip. The room itself was clean and great size, the tub and jets worked great. Shower was nice and roomy. Bed was comfortable
We were in room 709, was hoping for a view of the island and main strip without having to go outside since we were staying during Rod Run but there was no window. The artificial rock around the tub needs to be fixed and the toilet rocked every time you sit down. Also the room is back in a corner so it's a bit weird to get to. Bed sheets had what looked like ash marks on them and the chairs were a little dirty looking. Could use some better pillows on the bed.

For the staff to make more coffee. Only one pot a day, no coffee in the afternoon and evening. I like to drink coffee into the evening around 6:pm.
Very loud traffic noise. We stayed on the strip, cars, trucks, sirens, people in their rooms, & people walking around the Hotel all hours of the nights.
Pigeon Forge, Tn. Is active all through out the night, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

We like the shower..
The sidewalks were nasty, the elevator was nasty, and sounded like it was on its last leg making a noise. One of the rooms had a hot wire burning smell to it, went to front desk she said she would call the owner, but still could not get anyone to investigate it. Phone in the room we stayed in was dead, did not work, we tried it. one room had holes in the walls, cobwebs have not been swept down from the ceiling, the rooms needed some tender loving care, the rooms looked so tired and worn out.
The ice machine on floor number five was tore up had to go to the 7th floor to get ice just a lot of things that needed up kept a little better....
I have decided coming back to the smokies that I will not be coming back to this hotel unless they make some remodeling changes....

Old , terrible noise on elevator, room phone didn't work, under construction work areas, TV remote didn't work. No smart tvs . Pool too much chlorine. The front desk clerk is not friendly at all. And required at 50 dollar deposit and said they are only doing a hold on it. Someone threw ice cream on my car. Don't waste your money. Pool is very little and only 5 feet deep.

The location was OK. Close to a lot of entertainment. Other than that there was nothing good about the place.
Room was outdated, dirty and the bed was not comfortable. The couch looked like they got it out of the trash. The upstairs bath leaked dirty water into the shower in our room. I would not stay here again.

The drive there was amazing. When arriving and going to our room, the elevator was scary. It shook so bad the lady on with us pushed our kids off then we all jumped off before the door closed, feeling like it was going to fall.
The hotel needed updated and our room was horrible. You should not allow this hotel to be on Booking.com. It makes you look read bad. Stove didn't work, handles on cabinets and dressers were gone, under kitchen sink was horrifying (old smashed Dr. Pepper Cans, bottles of chemicals that had corroded over and out of bottles, mouse poop, and broken boards), pressure in shower was one stream, and the floors were extremely dirty, phone in room had no cord. Beds were comfortable though.
The elevator was scary so we, with 5 children took the 8 flight of stairs most of the time.

Room was apparently under renovation and managers said he didn't have to disclose that to us before booking and was unfinished, has popcorn asbestos ceiling, 2 jets in a "new" hot tub didn't work, outlets were sunken in, heater didn't work and was damaged, no mirror or light in hall sink area, dirt and debris all over room, filthy bedspreads, no breakfast, rickety elevator, dim lighting, small pool, very unhelpful management who laughed at our concerns and asking for a refund he said "you're funny. ".

The receptionist at the desk was not friendly, acted like I was inconveniencing her just being there. There were broken appliance sitting outside, construction materials scattered and trash all over the parking lot. No effort at all is shown to tidy anything up. The room smelled and the air filters were black and dirty. My son took a shower once we got in the room and within a few minutes of being out had the bottom of his feet covered in black filth from the floors in the room. The room phone was inoperable, we found dirt, trash and even a shirt left by the previous guests. The pool water was cloudy and questionable. We were so disgusted that we checked out shortly after discovering our son’s feet covered in dirt from the room floors. The same receptionist did not apologize and did not act surprised and offered nothing other than the fact she couldn’t give a refund.

There was no shampoo in the room, only two bars of soap. There is NO breakfast, only coffee. The beds were harder than I am used to. The ceiling lighting was harsh flourescent.

NOTHING WE DIDN'T STAY IT WAS DISGUSTING. THERE WAS MISSING LIGHT FIXTURES, DIRTY LINENS, TRASH BAGS PILED IN THE HALLWAYS OUTSIDE TRASH RECEPTACLES AND IN THE PARKING LOT. THIS PROPERTY SHOULDN'T EVEN BE OPEN FOR RENTING ROOMS.
