Continental breakfast was nice, waffles were 11/10.
The kids appreciated the hot cocoa, I the tea and my partner the Coffee.
Spa and pool were 24/7 which was so appreciated!
It was unfortunate the hotel was fully booked because we were unable to get any extra pillows.. we each had one soft square pillow (4 people; 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 beds).
Continental breakfast boiled eggs were a 1/10

The location.

The lady that checked us in was super kind, the pool/hot tub was open 24/7. Breakfast had a decent selection.
We were traveling for a hospital surgery, they offer a surgery discount. But wouldn't honor it upon checking out

safe location, great atmosphere
housekeeping knocking on the door at 9am and asking if we were checking out. checkout is 11am, let us sleep. that was a frustrating way to wake up.

The bed was super uncomfortable and the room was on the tiny side

The breakfast was pathetic. The website said that it had scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. And even one lady at the hotel when I commented on it said they had biscuits and gravy and the scrambled eggs and no they didn't .they had a breakfast sandwich which was hard.little waffles and Franz donuts donuts and prepackaged little pastries of some sort. The pool was the only good thing for our grandkids, they enjoyed it.
The whole stay could have been better. They need to update their website about their breakfast. They need to be upfront about taking a security deposit like Holiday inn and express is and other hotels. And they need to do something about the homeless coming in and making a scene and scaring the kids.

The staff were very pleasant.
The hotel really should not be in business anymore. The building is old and deteriorating. There is mold in the bathroom, the room had a very strong odor, the paint was peeling in most areas of the hotel, the pool and jacuzzi were disgusting and the breakfast and coffee were awful. The location is very sketchy with a lot of homeless people right behind the hotel, and it's right next to the train station so it's very loud. The walls are also very thin and so you hear everything going on above and around you. It seems like this caters mostly to long term tenants that are contract workers in the area. I would definitely stay away from here if you are on vacation, we didn't sleep a wink and couldn't wait to get out.

The 24 hour pool access was a major bonus that I have not seen offered at other hotels. We had a room with a jetted tub which our daughter thought was magical and the free breakfast selection was better than expected. Definitely enjoyed our stay and am a satisfied customer
