Only coffee at the office .the grounds were nice. The staff we encountered were very nice .
Out dated rooms. Room wasn't very clean cobwebs and spiders smashed bugs. Stains on the chair . Balcony was matted with bugs .

There was no breakfast

The view was great.
We had no hot water in our shower. They did give us access to another room to shower in, but it too was not the best either. Kept alternating back and forth from very hot to cold.
The room pictures online were obviously very old. They were nowhere near as nice as depicted in the photos. They did give us half off our one night stay to make up for it.

Toilet backed up in middle of night and overflowed with no one making repairs.

The bed was comfortable and the location was good.
The property was dirty. The towels were ripped ripped and freyed. The staff went in our room and touched our items to make the bed due to not having a DND sign. There was little to no lighting in the room. Our room went to the indoor pool but once out to the pool you had to walk around to get back in the room. The ceiling paint was falling into the indoor pool. The grounds weren't cleaned at all. The staff were okay but not exactly friendly. There were security tags on the pillows like the kind on stores so you can't steal clothing. Food was sub par for the price and service took forever in the manor house resturant. Upon check in you had more threats of fines than being welcomed to the hotel. The lots and drive need paving attention. The entire place was dated and at $300 a night the entire thing was a rip off. The property owners clearly have no pride in their property. Make some updates or level the place.

The view to the water is lovely as is the deck outside surrounding the manor house restaurant. Rooms have Starbucks coffee. The hot tub worked well. The waitress named Heather in the Manor House was a sweetheart so we didn’t dare mention anything bad…
Where to start: walked into reception, was out of the 80’s and wreaked of smoke. Room is dated and small for a waterfront resort and it’s more of a motel with rooms in a row with doors outside. Towels in bathroom were stained yellow which was gross. Manor house restaurant looks like something out of the movie The Shining and not at all like pictures. Ordered the artichoke dip and it was watery, not sure how they even managed this. Pasta was good though. ‘Breakfast’ is served in a small room by the office and is less than what you’d get in a Best Western. The coffee tasted like Drano so we just left. The place is a dive and completely misrepresented online.

Could use some updating. The pillows were really hard and uncomfortable.

Great spot to enjoy some off-season sunshine along the St Lawrence. Kimberley the manager was very helpful, lent us her prized corkscrew and even bought us a beer when we bumped into her at a bar in town later in the evening.
Lovely little town, although I can imagine it gets a lot busier and more expensive in the summer. Definitely great for a peaceful sunny Autumn weekend.
Everything was great. The shower was a wee bit small for me, at 6'5, but having a whirpool bath in the room more than made up for it

The location. right near everything. The breathtaking views.
I was hoping they would have had the continental breakfast. We like coming off season and there isn’t a lot open. We found a place so it’s not really even a negative.

area is pretty
the room had a musty smell——
rugs felt damp like they were just shampooed and never dried

It was close to Alexandria bay
The beds where soo uncomfortable we barely slept the 2 nights we where there , and the people in the room next to us we could hear all night watching TV
The rooms are $90-100 rooms if you spend anymore don't expect it to be worth it

Room was clean.
Turned on jacuzzi and black stuff came out of jets so i wouldnt use it.. Told front desk at check out and really didn't get any response. They didn't even ask how my stay was. Lacking customer service

I loved the location, the picture taking opportunities by the bay, and the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The facilities are definitely outdated. The bedding was thin, so we had to request extra blankets. The bathroom was small with no additional hooks to hang clothing or towels. The ice machine was hard to find, as you would typically find one on each floor. The price was difficult to defend now having been to Alexandria bay. Would find an Airbnb in a different town if I returned again.

The staff was very nice. The room was clean. The free Wi-Fi worked well.
Our stay was disappointing. We paid a nightly rate commensurate with a resort-type room. The room was dated and lacked modern touches - like having a clock or a listing of available TV stations and nearby restaurants. The shower's water pressure was poor & the bathroom was small with a very short toilet. ... not a resort-type expectation. We were warned that the balcony, which looked over nothing but covered moorings, shouldn't be used due to a gnat infestation - nor should the door be even opened due to probable gnat migration. The website indicated that the establishment should be called to ascertain the extent of dining. We neglected to call and found that was none on our Monday & Tuesday stay. Most of this could be forgiven if the rate was a standard veteran roadside small motel... not in excess of $200/ night.

The location of the room was good. Back door led to pool and a view of the river behind it
The key only worked in one door of the two entering our room. We had to leave the room unlocked when we went to the pool or would have had to walk around building to enter our room. The air conditioner did not cool the room. It was a small window unit above the door that ran continuously and never reached the desired temperature. It made sleeping uncomfortable.

it was extensive and had great views
it was a little hard to find and the road was slightly congested

Everything was great. The bed and pillows were super comfortable! I slept great there! 2 on site bars! Indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub inside! The a/c and refrigerator were already on in our room. I’ve been to hotels that did not do that. Our room for 1 night with reservations made the day before was around $250 AFTER taxes. At first I thought it was a lot. But we had a great night and a great nights sleep, on TOP of the 2 FANTASTIC bars/restaurants right on site! Beautiful views from our door! With a little balcony and chairs! Also, they still give you an ACTUAL KEY!!! Which I LOVE!! My husband and I agree we would go there again!
