The property was very close to the sea and you could site on the community Deck and just relax.
The cottage had everything a family could need , was clean nicely decorated and was ideal for our stay.
Nothing comes to mind.

I’ve been visiting this inn for years! Fantastic location. Great rooms
Prices are a bit high these days. Almost double what we paid just a year ago.

It was cute and clean
The beds were very uncomfortable, so much so we declined to stay the second night

Cute/convenient
They didn’t have any merchandise for sale I would of loved to rock some ocean echo inn merch!

Location next to a small bay beach, the cottages are self contained units which are warm and secure.
Units are a bit compact for 4 people, ok for 1 or 2 nights. But the sofa bed was not comfortable.

Our room was spacious, clean, updated, the bed wasn’t as comfy as I like .
The parking was way to tight

It’s very well organized and feels like everyone had their little space.
we loved the property, unfortunately the weather was bad and we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space as much as we would like, but it has nothing to do with our stay. we can’t wait to go back in the summer

Super cute & charming
Shower did not get hot & got water all over the bathroom floor. I think the beds were doubles, not queens. More of a bed & breakfast vibe than I expected.

Coffee.. Terrible in both room coffee and breakfast room.
I asked that my room be cleaned on 3rd day . I was told that it would be but it wasn't.
Also lets be honest, the 50.00 pet fee per day is just pure profit and greed. with washable floors why the extra charge? My dog and I were certainly cleaner than most people

Room had amenities. The full kitchen was nice and there was a patio with a grille. Great location with a beach next door. Walk-able to Starbucks and Aloha Island Grille and a short drive to other good restaurants.
Funky room that slanted badly. Old bed that collapsed in the middle when you laid down. The patio was mostly unusable due to a weekend long party with 7 girls being allowed to be held in the room across from ours.

Everyone and everything was perfect

the room was quite spacious and the resort was well located close to a beach
two comfy chairs in the room would be better than one

The room is clean.
The location, the price, the facilities and the staff very poor. The hotel doesn't have:
* an elevator so if you have luggages good luck.
* there is nobody to help you with luggage, you are on your own
* there is no place to have breakfast, not even a table.
* The cherry on the top, I paid +$500 for one night for my room. I am sure you won't believe me.
* very poor location with no beach vibe
* good for young folks who do not care much, but too much over-rated for the value it offers.

the location was great close to the beach!
The family suites were SO much smaller than appeared online!!! the first one had only one entrance and exit that went through the only bedroom. Very Awkward! so we asked to me moved after the first night. they were very gracious to immediately do so. however that “suite” was equally TINY! it was slightly better that the bedroom was upstairs and the teens did not have to go through our room to get outside. however the couch bed took up the entire downstairs and we had to climb over them to get to the toilet!!! these rooms and “family” suites are really only meant for 2 people and NOT a family.

The staff at Ocean Echo were extremely helpful and informative. Having a kitchenette was absolutely wonderful, and in general I think it was well worth it to get a room with a real table and everything. It was also really easy to get take out from a super wide variety of places, and we were close enough to walk to Starbucks, a weekend farmer's market, and so on.
Some parts of the property have little to no cell service, and none of the rooms have phones. Other parts have a somewhat weak wifi signal - good enough to watch some youtube if you don't mind a little buffering, but not good enough to voice/video chat with friends.
Though the bathrooms were spacious and clean, I did find that they were pretty stingy with their provided towels! I have long enough hair that I need two towels to actually be dry after showering, and they only provide one per person (I mean, assuming you are sharing a room with a partner or friend) which I found to be a little unusual when compared to other hotels I've stayed at. I happened to have packed a beach towel so I just used that, but you might need to ask the front desk for an extra towel.

the location on the beach is nice
this is not “dog friendly”. for the amount of money they charge, they should have an area for the dogs. not require you to leave the property

Smell bad not clean very small rooms price discrepancy with web site additional tax charges

Nice staff in a comfortable and relaxed setting. Although we were a couple of miles from centre of Santa Cruz it was quick and easy to get in and out. Lovely beach 2 minutes walk away.
Breakfast was a little disappointing. Original room was too small even for a couple of days.

The cottages were beautiful and homey, you cannot beat this location. Sunny Cove is right below you and it's only 5 minutes from all the big attractions at the boardwalk. The toys they keep on the deck for children was an incredibly special touch.

location and distance to the beach. view from captains room was superb.
bed was worn out. parking was a bit challenging for a larger vehicle. breakfast left much to be desired. would have been nice to have a keureg coffee maker. freezer didn't keep things frozen.
