Wanted a “staycation” and got solid one for the family album.

The beds were cozy and my family had no issues sleeping and relaxing. The fridge was one of the best sizes we’ve had in a while, great for storing the leftovers from the many great restaurants nearby. The microwave was great too. Midnight meals were heavenly.

The hallway on the ground floor smelt like a pool, probably because they propped the pool door open while we were there. I am sure there was a good reason for that. Next time will probably be different. Pool was nice. Hot tub could be a smidge hotter.

Not worth the money. The hotel was very Ghetto.

Breakfast was horrible. Gave the plate I made to my dog and she didnt even eat it.

They sent me an email when I stayed that I would have my dog with that stated it would be an extra $20 a night. More then other hotels charge but I said ok. I get there pay for my room and they said the outside door closest to my room was broken. I asked if it was ok if I brought my dog through the lobby. I got a deer in the head lights look. They had to change my room since they only allow dogs in one area of the hotel and they didnt charge me the extra money. Obviously they do not read any responses to their emails.

The staff was very friendly and I was comfortable during my stay.

The entire stay was comfortable and I enjoyed the time spent there! Loved the breakfast!

The card key was very complicated and had to get it changed multiple times.

Rude/non-responsive staff. speaking a foreign language with each other while I was checking in. Side door did not work so smokers were propping the door open allowing smoke to waft throughout the building. No towels in the pool area and nobody at the front desk to provide any. has to use room towels. No smoking in the building was not enforced. No alcohol in the pool area was not enforced. No milk in the breakfast area so guests were eating dry cereal. Person at the front desk was bored by guest requests to replenish food. when food was replenished the sausages were still cold in the middle. Eggs were cold and rubbery.

Great value, friendly and helpful staff and an overall good experience.

The beds were very comfortable and the kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the exercise room. There were plenty of clean towels and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The property is very close to Gurnee Mills and Six Flags and we found a number of restaurants nearby that the whole family enjoyed.

We had no complaints.

The room was not very clean. Left over items in the shower from previous guests. Hair all over surfaces, bathroom, and bedding. Staff would not give us extra towels or blankets.

it was clean the staff was friendly and helpful it was close to everything so we didn’t have to travel far

the complementary breakfast, they kept running outta food and we had to wait almost 30 mins for them to bring out more which ended up making us miss the free breakfast

pool sucks stay away if you want pool

it was a good location.

we ended up leaving the hotel an hour after we arrived because the pool had so much chlorine it burned your eyes and burned my 2 year olds skin. we called to tell the staff that we left and was hoping to get some money back but nothing. It was a waste of money if you are looking for a hotel with a nice pool

The location was the only good thing. Ingot a call an hour after we left from housekeeping that i left my glasses there and they woukd ship them. The shipping company called and shipped them back. 4 days later I got a call from manager that the room was just cleaned (4 days later) and thy found damaged to 2 headboards, and end table and a tv table. There was no damamge caused!! Strange since housekeeping was in there an hour after I left. I called booking and comfort inn and in between those 3 days we left there was 3 other parties that stayed in that room. I could not get a hold of the manager of the hotel as he would not talk to me and would keep hanging up, I called several times during the week. Booking.com stated they cannot do anything as Comfort inn is a private chain.. this hotel is commiting fraud to people and assuming they can get away with to people out of state!!! Please beware!!!!!

Check in clerk put us on 2nd floor and early next morning front desk clerk said we could not have a pet on the 2nd floor and we had to move. Told him we were checking out. Billed us an extra $30

If you stay here, PLEASE BE AWARE OF YOUR VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES!! My Catalytic Converter on my car was stolen/cut off in the parking lot during our stay (RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL DOOR). While I did file a formal complaint with the hotel/police report, I don’t believe anything will be done. My stay at the hotel wasn’t bad but knowing that someone was able to go under my car while parked here as paying customers just doesn’t put me at ease. I almost feel like this hotel should comp my stay but nothing of the sort was done when I talked to them. Just sucks if I’m being honest. My husband and I are from out of state and now stuck with no way home until the insurance gets settled. Comfort Inn & suites please monitor your parking lot so this never happens to one of your paying guest who parks in your lot ever again.
