Great location for Portland's train/bus station

This was about a five minute walk from the train station (Portland Transportation Center) so worked great for my 2am arrival via Amtrak. I was visiting family in the hospital, and it was a bit more than a mile from the hospital. They were also able to hold my luggage in a locked room. My room was spacious and clean; only used it to sleep and shower after my trip, checked out early the next morning and well met my needs. Would have stayed another night as family member's stay in hospital was extended, but next night was booked. Clarion was better than the hotel used the following night.

Very nice, confortable and good location...

Very good breakfast, confortable beds and friendly staff, close to downtown with a Uber ride, plenty of parking and free!

A bit smelly (humidity smell), rooms a bit outdated... breakfast should be included in the price...

Für eine Zwischenübernachtung ist es ok.

Der alte Fahrstuhl und der sehr nette Shuttle Busfahrer

Haare in der Dusche Man kann kein Fenster öffnen obwohl das Zimmer gestunken hat wie eine Douglas Parfumerie. Das komplette Zimmer war sehr dunkel eingerichtet.

A comfortable stay in Portland with a free airport shuttle

The room was spacious and comfortable. The heating and cooling system worked well. Good TV reception. Large, comfortable bed. Oversized easy chair/sofa combo. Good wifi reception. Quiet room. Free airport shuttle.

Older furnishings need updating. Toilet paper was cheap and wasteful. Cheap one-cup coffeemaker. Restaurant is only open for breakfast. Elevator is very slow.

The location was perfect- walking distance to Thompson's Point and a 5 min drive downtown.

Check-in took forever. We arrived early (12:30pm) but our room wasn't ready until around 5pm.

Nothing very good about the place. Very pricey for the location, room, and amenities

The place was old, the bathroom was small/tight, and the floor in the room was filthy. Also, there was just too much humidity in the room—the armchair and floor were sticky and the bathroom felt wet (and the towel never dried in the bathroom). The staff didn’t clean our room despite the fact that we stayed there 4 nights, and they were supposed to clean the room after the 3rd night. The other guests were very noisy.

I came by bus from northern Maine. I could walk to the Clarion easily from the bus station, and walk back the next morning to catch a bus to Logan airport for my flight to Europe. it was very convenient, quiet, clean and comfortable. Just what I needed. Thanks

the staff were friendly and it was close in location to the events we had planned that weekend. breakfast was yummy and the rest of the room was comfortable.

the indoor pool was so cold it was uncomfortable, my shower was not clean, there was still hair in the drain and there was food stains on the wall and I wish the restaurant was open for dinner and not just breakfast on the weekend during our stay.

I like the hotel room the staff was amazing. The breakfast is disgusting. The breakfast staff was kind a rude. That was the only staff member. We really had a problem with all the other staff members were amazing. We will stay again. I just hope they do better cleaning the rooms.

My room is still dirty housekeeping kept trying to rush me out of the room and the breakfast was not great and this is the only hotel room I’ve ever been to that doesn’t offer coffee. I think you should offer coffee.

Comfortable stay at a conveniently located hotel

I love the convenience of the hotel to the bus that services Boston South Station &n Boston's Logan Airport. The desk staff is always helpful & the room is always clean & comfortable. They are always willing to try & meet my need for a quiet room locaiton. Some comments note that has an older decor, but over the years that I have stayed here it has always met my needs & I've never had a complaint.

No real dislikes -- maybe a heating/cooling system that I didn't hear click on & off, but this would never stop me from staying here. And I am always comfortable & warm or cool enough in my room.

The hotel was fairly priced.

Check in staff was rude and cleaners started very early in the morning.

Breakfast was high quality and better than the average breakfast around town.

The temps outside were in the negatives and the pool room was a bit chilly after exiting the pool.
