beautiful spot overlooking the river! great staff!

pool stated it was 24 hours and it wasn’t! after 11pm the doors were not accessible.

I'm a returning visitor.... good with Shilo Inn

Staff was helpful. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable.

Broken side door was an inconvenience. It may be fixed by now.... extreme cold may have contributed. Hall carpet seems not clean.

We've already booked for return trip!

Friendly, welcoming staff, large rooms, fantastic pillows!! Clean and comfy. They give complimentary breakfasts, too!

Fresh Stay

The staff was very helpful and friendly. This was the cleanest stay I have had in many years. I smelleda clean facility immediately upon walking through the doors and down the hallways.

The byline for the hotel is "affordable excellence" and that was our experience. Clean, spacious, well appointed room and lots of choice for breakfast.

No bad, but needs attention and upkeep.

The price was good. Breakfast was also good. Room was large and had all the necessary amenities. I didn't get to use the pool and spa, but they looked well cared for and clean.

This hotel as with many others needs to have a manager that does walk throughs and checks on how the staff is doing. Our room had no cream and sugar for their coffee machine. The tub shower handle to activate the shower is broken and hard to use. The dinning room is in need of care. Windows to the outside look like they have never been cleaned, except to can see the filth from previous cleanings last year sometime. The restaurant needs a weekly going through to keep it up to standards.

Do not recommend

I liked that I had a room with a balcony overlooking the river.

The floor was uneven in the room and the hallway. My rolling luggage did not want to roll because of it. The sink faucet had toothpaste on it from prior persons stay. The bed caved towards the center. The carpet looked like it had not been shampooed in years. The sofa looked like someone just had sex on it. It just felt dirty and I could not relax. The screen to the balcony had been cut like someone had previously tried to break in. If you are a single man that just needs a place to sleep and take a quick shower, this is your place. Otherwise, I would look around at the other options.

The room overlooked the river and had a lovely outside balcony. The room was very large and the beds were very comfortable.

The front desk staff were not that pleasant for both the check in and check out process.

The soap bar was too small. The bed was slightly tilted. One of the table lamps didn't work.

Will not stay at a Shilo Inn ever again.

The location near the river.

The property was run down. They charged us an extra fee of $50 for a view and the outside balcony was disgustingly dirty with dirty chairs and table and full of spiderwebs and dead bugs. When I told the woman at checkout she said its because of the wind and they clean it everyday. That is a lie, but I did not have time to argue with her. There is no way that balcony had been cleaned in months. I am not stupid.

The pool and spa were extremely relaxing after traveling all day. And the walk along the river was beautiful

Property needs work in the main areas. Staff needs to be nicer to people staying there.

The room was updated and nice. The bed was soft, prefer harder.

The elevator broke down the next day. However we found out after we took the elevator. A staff member yelled at us for taking it saying there was a sign on it. I explained there was no sign on the middle elevator. All she kept saying was there was. She was not a nice person and treated me awful.
