Great location. Older hotel with its older quirks but clean and comfortable.
The carpet was pretty old. Definitely could use to upgrade the floors.

We had another fantastic stay at Resort City Inn. This is a quaint “beach-style” motel that we so enjoy. Short walk to the boardwalk, restaurants, shops, park and beach. Clean, comfortable and very welcoming staff.
Nothing.

Location is awesome. Very walkable to restaurants, pubs and waterfront. Very clean and accommodating. I would stay here again and would recommend. Good value for the money.
Nothing.

Location
Noise - Hen party kept us awake all night - very little sound proofing - could hear each & every foot step upstairs

location
Stingy, nasty old carpet, construction outside my door, didn’t know I’d be charged for parking and pet

the location is excellent…. walking distance to downtown.
unfortunately for us, they are in the midst of an extensive remodeling project. Ripping out the sheet rock of the room next door started before nine am!

The bed itself was the most comfortable of a trip that had us in 4 different hotels. The location on the main street and so close to all of the restaurants and shops was the best point, especially for the cost relative to some of the other places in the area.
We heard vehicles driving up and down Sherman Ave. late at night and early in the morning, which was disruptive to our sleep.

Room was cozy and the motel is walking distance to the lake. the room was mostly clean when we arrived as well. Overall good for a quick visit but wouldn’t recommend for long visits.
Walls are very thin and the bed was stiff, which made it hard to sleep as a light sleeper since there were a lot of noises during the night.
a few smaller things: some items in the room were very dusty and the tissues were extremely yellowed.

Location, location, location! Downtown and close to the lake. Great value in he off-season.
Wish they still served breakfast.

Small hotel with great modern updates. It was ideally situated close to the water, restaurants, and entertainment.

great location.
clean, convenient location.

Location to downtown CDA was exceptional and at a great value.
Lack of amenities and datedness of facilities.

The location was convenient.
Room was dirty. There were cobwebs in the room. The TV would not work then once we investigated found it wasn't plugged into the outlet or the cable network. Tried to turn on a lamp on and flickered and seemed like it was going to start a fire. When I talked to front desk they just shrugged their shoulders like nothing they could do. Won't stay there again.

The rooms were excellent and so was the bed.
I didn't like the parking fee

Fairly Clean.
Stayed here several times. They started charging $12 a night to park your vehicle in the hotel parking lot. They don’t include this information on booking.com. The staff recommended I could park on the street if I didn’t want to pay $12 per night. It’s a sneaky price gouge. They no longer have late check outs. They no longer have coffee in the lobby. There’s two sets of stairs down from the upper level & one stair set that isn’t covered is chained off because of snow & ice. If there was a fire the outside stairs should be cleaned off even if they have a do not use chain across instead of 10 inches of snow & Ice. Definitely a fire hazard. The lobby closes at 9. If you come in late they give you a code on a cheap little lock box next to each door so you can get in. This lock box is the cheapest of the cheap. It wouldn’t deter a criminal element from breaking into a room if the room was occupied or not. It’s not a safe system.
Typical inflation & price gouging. Give the customer less & charge more. Stayed here plenty of time over the years. Will never stay again or recommend other to do so.

we’ve stayed here many times in the past love CDA
want to start off by saying this use to be our little CDA gem…. love this place and people who work here
FIRST OFF $12.00 parking charge that you don’t know about until you get there? when you have already rented room online and just to park in their lot?? is this for maintenance?? snow removal perhaps? if so there were lots of piles to get around as it was in where you park
it’s crazy the actual hotel you rented for the night lot?? was a complete Surprise!! and basically we were told if we didn’t want to pay that we could park up the block in the residential area for “free” odd that was a bit of a walk in the winter with ice on sidewalks
the other surprise was we had a late night enjoying the town, yearly Santa cruise we’ve gone in for 7 years, had appetizers before at Sweet lous before and dinner after at crickets. As I mentioned we love CDA and have stayed here often actually last 2 xs for the cruise and often 2 or 3 times a year in the past so.. the next morning much to our surprise again a very loud alarm was set for 6 am that we did not set and NOT COOL as we had a late night prior to coming thought we could at least sleep until 8:00 as we were not in a rush and wanted a leisurely morning.
Room rate in past 65.00 ish w taxes off season and I realize that prices have gone up you must advertise lot rent in your booking so people know
also gal at front desk when I told her about alarm seemed very unconcerned
thank you

No breakfast not a problem.
I was charged an additional $12.00 to park my car in the parking lot next to my room. I had already paid for the room charge and then I'm told that I had to pay an additional $12.00 to have my car, this was not on the website..

Parking charge of 12 dollars was bullcrap

Convenient, located in town, a short walk to the lake, clean, and week-kept cute retro motor lodge.
Had to pay to park in their small lot.

Location in downtown CdA was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Needs some repairs or updates. Door to room had gaps you could see light and feel air coming through.
3.8
Very convenient location - walked to all restaurants, beach, park, cruise ship.
It is on a well travelled corner, but surprisingly the traffic got quiet at night, good windows - we could sleep in quiet rooms.

Parking fee and the lot was a bit small.

No fan in bathroom, a little moldy smelling. Doorknob was only locking mechanism on main door, did not feel too secure.
