Affordable, clean and comfortable.

The hotel is as close as you can get to the Great Sand Dunes NP in Alamosa. While it's very no-frills, it's clean, it's got great water pressure in the shower and the beds are comfy. We were there to see the Sand Dunes and to hike; we weren't expecting to stay at the Ritz. The staff were courteous and very kind to us. Parking was free and plentiful

Nothing. As long as you know what you're getting and the price is good - there's nothing to complain about.

Okay but silver serious problems

The staff was very nice, and the rooms were perfect in that the beds were comfortable, and there was even a fridge and microwave.

The air conditioning was garbage, and we struggled to sleep because it was too hot. We set the air conditioner to 70, then 68, then 66, and it just tried all night long but could never get the room down to a comfortable temperature. The shades were also not nearly dark enough and let a lot of light in. Also, breakfast consisted of some boxes of cereal with some of that fruit soaked in sugar juice. No eggs, waffles, bagels, toast, or even black tea.

The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk clerk was very kind and pleasant to work with.

The continental breakfast was quite limited with just oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit cups and small packaged pastries. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit, toast or bagels.

This property was perfect as an overnight stop in getting from point A to point B.

It was a great starter breakfast with juice, yogurt, coffee, and a small pastry. Cereals were also available and we took a fruit/nut bar for the road.

Since I'm a walker, a sidewalk or safer access to the nearby park would be nice.

Good price. Reflects condition of property and service

Location. New carpeting

Room furniture was beat up and dated. Hall trim was beat up. Shower pressure was weak. Front desk not knowledgable re: things to do and restaurants.

Overall, I was very happy with my stay and I would recommend the hotel to others

That the room was very affordable and the room was very clean and the bedding looked new, clean and was comfortable

The breakfast was ok. I would have like a toaster and bread to toast and a non dairy milk. I am both gluten free and dairy free due to allergies and the breakfast did not offer many alternatives

perfect location to visit great sand dunes. room is clean, good compromise price/ quality. staff really nice and helpful!lots of restaurants around the hotel.

there is nothing really for breakfast. better go outside. very thin walls..

Disappointing

The crack between the door and the wall was massive. So much outside light was shinning through the door. Also the piece of wood holding the dead bolt in place was insanely loose and could just be yanked off.

Irene was very nice, but I am glad it’s was just for one night.

the beds we’re comfortable

there are NO amenities! the breakfast was pathetic and did not offer anything healthy or for diabetics. There were bugs in our room .

Une aventure qui se termine bien!

We were well received by Irene and her team. The amenities were up to our expectations. Irene helped us with the administrative procedures for car rental. She took the time to help us and we are grateful. Thanks again (the Belgians)

The situation that brought us to Alamosa was very complicated and Irene and her team were great. So... No negative points to complain about. Thanks a lot for everyting you did fo us.

Poor selection, limited selection for breakfast. only room for ONE person for entire very limited selection There was no connection for lap top, phone etc. no light near desk so I could read. Ice machine inconvenient,, Could not find until next morning

Fine for one night to stop on the way to final destination.

Location and price

No elevator and room was on the second floor. When people are in lobby or halls it echos really badly. Towels were tiny and they only gave you 2.

The staff and owners of the hotel are always so nice and professional. The rooms are very clean. Nice location and good price.

Room was okay for the price.

Staff was nice, free coffee and oatmeal in the morning.

Location was a bit out of town, but not too bad. Had a hard time turning into the driveway, had to turn around and come back.

Pleasant

The room was big and the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was a joke! Wrapped pastries and tasteless coffee. Definitely not worth choosing this hotel for the included breakfast. We went both mornings to Roast Coffee which added $60 to the bill... The rooms are worn out and in dire need for a renovation. The staff was unfriendly, not even acknowledging us in the morning with a decent smile or "Good morning". I would not stay there again, knowing there are plenty other hotel choices in Alamosa.
