The bathroom was the only good area of my room.

My recent visit to this hotel was horrible. Called the front desk after entering room and saw a few obvious concerns and was told all rooms were booked so I couldn’t switch rooms. Had all hotels not been full the weekend of my stay, I definitely would’ve gotten a refund and stayed elsewhere. The following issues applied to my room (Room #259): •Black mold was located on the wall by the window (noticed on the 2nd night of stay) •Air Conditioner was so full of dirt buildup or whatever it was, it was blowing out of A/C unit onto the floor & nearby table •Deadbolt chain was missing the part that slides into the door - therefore making it useless. Used a chair to wedge under the door knob for some safety •3 regular chairs (ones to be used at a table) sitting beside the nightstand. Definitely nothing I’d want to sit in to relax and watch TV for a bit before bed. There was no “ergonomic” chair as stated on hotel site. •Large gap, at least 2”, on the bottom of the door. Very easy for someone to stick something (camera to record, open the door, throw something harmful into room, let your mind wander as anything is possible) under the door •Floor had multiple large soft spots in walking area of room (2nd floor) •Security key mechanism on outside of the building was not working therefore anyone could enter hotel without going through main hotel door/lobby

I am not sure that was anything I really liked about this stay.

You had to move the box behind the TV to be able to change the channel. When we came in the heat was completely off in the room which isn't great when its -25 outside. The bed covers had strains in them. The floors are stained badly in the room. The toilet was not clean. The staff was not welcoming. The whole building smelled badly. How is this place still in business?

Place was very clean. Staff was ok. Comfortable beds. Great value

Shower head was loose and sprayed water all over the bathroom, I found someone had unscrewed it and only left it on by like 1 thread. I tightened it myself and it worked fine after that. There was only one very small partial roll of TP in the bathroom, so I had to go to the desk and ask for more. The guy working there seemed like I inconvenienced him by asking for it... But whatever. Breakfast options are very limited, but better than nothing.

Staff was excellent & accommodating when we needed extra towels. Very friendly.

Just cleaned carpet was still a bit damp. Smoke alarm is right outside the bathroom door with a warning to keep door closed while in the shower, but when I exited - the alarm started going off from the steam before I got door closed again! So no way to get steam out of bathroom! And the shower head blew water everywhere BUT INSIDE the shower! When informed said they thought it had been fixed. Everything was soaked. A discount on the stay would have been nice! Breakfast was slim pickings and not much of an appealing selection.
