It was a great experience!

The lodge was beautiful and the location is amazing. It's nice to be able to walk to the historic sights, shops and restaurants. We appreciated the complimentary bottled water available from the front desk. There are several dining options available if you don't feel like leaving the lodge.

I wish they had complimentary coffee. The in room coffee was subpar. The coffee shop had great coffee but it added up quickly and the line was always very long.

Always a favorite.

If we can’t find a colonial house to stay in, this is our go to. Everything is great.

Excellent location and modern facilities in CW

We loved the great location in a quiet part of Colonial Williamsburg, as well as the spacious room and beatuiful grounds of this hotel.

For the price, we would appreciate a breakfast voucher or some other bonus to staying.

Nice views but highly expensive

It was a beautiful area, and had an amazing decorated room.

During the night there was this constant bang and rattling sound all throughout the night. I was charged twice for the hotel room once through booking and then through the hotel again. Costing me 2.5 times the amount because it put my account into the negative for that so I was charged a fee. That was highly unpleasant i budget everything perfectly and this has made me never want to use booking again or use there stay

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again. The staff was exceptional.

We ate breakfast off-site but I did enjoy the grab and go coffee bar. The location could not have been better...right in the heart of colonial Williamsburg.

We wish Traditions had a Brunch menu instead of buffet. My wife and I were looking forward to eggs Benedict. I believe they should add it to the brunch menu.

It is a great lodge.

This is our favorite place to stay when we can’t stay in one of the colonial houses. Great restaurant.

great location, steps from Colonial Williamsburg

I asked for a nice view upon checking in. When we got to the room, the view was a street view. Then we were charged $15 for room change. There wasn’t any change in the room type.

Overall staff makes this a lovely stay. Joe and Jonathan at the door were very courteous and helpful

Location was very good, easy to walk the entire area, including the college. Very clean and lots of space. Lovely grounds to walk or run.

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Bed is very firm, but uncomfortable. Hair dryer was very old and difficult to use. Bar area was on an hour wait to be seated. Needs a more dedicated bar, that does not include its restaurant. Can't imagine this in peak season. Overall not sure almost $500 night was worth the money.

Overpriced for a normal hotel experience.

Location was great, close to downtown.

Overpriced for a normal hotel experience. The restaurants attached to the hotel, we’re overpriced with poor service. Traditions restaurant breakfast buffet is a complete ripoff. $25 per person for a breakfast buffet full of food you get complimentary at other hotels.

Great stay! we will definitely be back.

the property is very pristine. I love that it is walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. the buffet breakfast was yummy and hat lots of options. Staff was friendly. very clean amenities!

our toilet had issues with flushing. We were very sad that the Sweat Tea and Barley restaurant wasn’t open on Monday. we asked staff if their were any festivities planned for Saturday 10/29/22 as we saw pumpkins around the town and kids in costume, staff said there were no Halloween events except for the haunted tours. we sadly found out the next day that the pumpkins were all gone and that men dressed up the horses and rode through the town and kids trick-or-treated. absolutely nothing was going on Halloween night.
