Bailey at the front desk was welcoming and informative and helpful. She added to the experience for us with her knowledge of the hotel and the area. She is a great asset to this business!
Ruthie took very good care of us for our breakfasts - great service.

The staff was helpful and friendly.
The bed needs to be replaced. It is as VERY old and lumpy.

The location is very close to campus and Kirkwood Ave.
Nothing!

Location and size,- not a faceless chain on the side of a highway.
Room was very small/ tight and floorboards squeaked terribly,- so if one person got up in the night, the other was awakened by the squeaky floorboards.

We loved the location - walked to lunch, dinner, coffee, and the University. That was a plus. We also appreciated the hospitality by Rosie and enjoyed breakfast on site.
I had called ahead to be sure I would have a room that I wanted and worked with the gentleman who answered to phone who said I was assigned to room 42. After looking at that room I agreed to that. But when I arrived, I had been switched to room 34.

quaint inn, well located
breakfast was served but they didn’t have alternative milk for my coffee. I was in the cottage room and could hear the guests in the next room

Not only is it a beautiful inn but every employee I came in contact with was courteous and super nice.

nice location and beautiful breakfast. Front staff in the evening was very nice and so was the breakfast woman!
TV didn’t work- even after someone came in to fix it. No water pressure in shower. Mattress was very old and had a big groove in it. I was put in the room right beside the front desk- must be the booking.com room, so it was noisy.

This is my first time at a bed and breakfast. It was refreshing to travel and having the comforts of home. We woke to the smell of breakfast cooking downstairs. 😋😋😋 The quality of the sheets and pillows were so good that we looked up the manufacturer online and thinking of getting some for home. The sheets were SO comfortable! The staff at breakfast was pleasant and exceptionally accommodating. They sent us home with some of the Cranberry glazed breakfast cake and carrot cake!
The only thing I would say is I couldn't figure out how to get the lights turned on next to the bed. There weren't any switches on the fixture itself or the cord and the switches on the wall didn't affect them.

I loved McKenzie, she was such a pleasure to meet and was so accommodating. I stayed in the Hoosier House which is one of the yellow houses that has the address of 315. I stayed in room 67 and I absolutely loved it. I highly recommend that specific room. It was updated and very clean. The breakfast in the morning was very quaint and delicious. Thank you so much for a wonderful room and stay.
I prefer updated rooms so I loved Hoosier house!

Very pleased with choice of Grant St. Inn. I've stayed in many fine B&Bs. GSI was every bit as good, pluHads very easy location for visiting granddaughter at IU.
Had trouble using TV remote, maybe because TV was so high?

Quaint inn very close to the campus staff is really good- especially David.
while room size and bed comfort was great, I didn’t like the hand wash being in the room. carpet is dated too
