Exceptional

The staff was great the only thing that was a little irritating was a staff member that was on in the evening one night when we asked for an extra pillow he told us no that the hotel had none. Then hen I asked the next day on day shift they were super accommodating and said yes right away and grabbed it. We were even at the desk we didn't expect the man to bring it to us. Otherwise it was an awesome stay! Great room,location,pool and staff! Thank you!!

Just that one staff member. All others were beyond wonderful!

I have stayed there about 7 times and this was probably the worst on how dirty it was

I liked that it is close to the boardwalk

The bedding was not clean and the filter on the a/c unit was dirty

Location was amazing, room was huge and staff was excellent.

Staff was friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Location to local activities, the beach, the boardwalk and local restaurants is phenomenal!!! Will definitely be returning!!

Won't be back

Parking was okay and it had an elevator.

Motel is in desperate need of a full renovation. Water pressure was horrible as was the drain in the sink. Walls, tile, etc all need a refresh - more than just paint. Motel has a bar/restaurant below it. Guidos Burritos was excessively noisy and I really felt for those right above it. We lost several nights of sleep due to the noise from Guidos. Tried to go in and eat during dinner and we couldn't even talk to each other as the stereo was way overwhelming.

We loved everything!! It was perfect for me and my family!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS HOTEL!!! This was our second time staying at the Rideau. I wish I actually knew how to pronounce the word Rideau .😬😄 The staff was friendly and very helpful. Whenever we needed towels or washcloths they brought them immediately. The room was super clean and comfortable. To be right on the boardwalk and just a few steps from the beach was so nice. The pool was cleaned everyday. It's just a nice place with a great price for families. I'm actually looking to book a room for next week. I have recommended this place to so many of my friends and family and loved it too!! If you can give this place a try and I know you will love it too.The hotel is above a restaurant that we love. The Guido Burrito!!! You can smell the yummy food all day long!!

Was very clean just an older dated motel

No breakfast offered but location to boardwalk was great.

Bathroom needs updating. Fan in bathroom was covered by ceiling tile so steam could not get out.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area was awesome.

The bathroom needs an upgrade. It was very outdated compared to the actual room.

The room was big w/ 2 king beds but we wish we booked an oceanfront room with private balcony

The room that we paid for says it comes with a balcony but it's not a private balcony. It's just the walkway that leads to other hotel rooms. Please note that the beachfront hotel rooms all have private balconies. Poolside hotel rooms do not have private balconies.

There was very low water pressure and the temperature of the water continuously fluctuated during every shower I took. Sometimes the toilet ran and at one point I was afraid we had to call a plumber. But we did not.

It was ok, will stay again with a beach front room this time

Close to boardwalk, easy to get to room, pool was in a good spot.

Floor was covered in dirt, had them sweep still was dirty, staff was very hard to find for room service, hot water in hotel is way too hot, burned my hand, hotel elevated was also expired with a sunken in floor, needs to be replaced before someone sues.

A/C worked great. Everything was clean. Front desk staff was extremely nice. Chairs on the balcony made it great to sit outside and enjoy. Didn't have a hair dryer with me and the front desk staff was very nice and loaned me one. The ice machine was broken and we were directed to go to Tony's pizza for ice. Best pizza ever! We didn't get in the pool, but it looked clean and very nice. Great location. This was my 3rd time staying there within the past 15 years. Reasonably priced. Great staff. I'll choose here again.

Our room was above Guidos facing the beach and the music was very loud at night. Annoying but fine. The TV in the room was a little on the small side. Odd that rooms don't have hair dryers.

Location was great for bar hopping in off season. Ample parking, easy to access.

No soundproofing in rooms, could hear other guests in and out of their rooms. It's a motel so my expectations were low. Booking.com said the pool was open, it wasn't. Room was very cramped

Bed is uncomfortable and bathroom had a switch for the vent ,but there was no vent. Toilet is super tiny .

Great hotel to stay with friends. Neighborhood and location on the boards was perfect!

ocean view was stunning! Great balcony for people watching on the boardwalk. Bed was soooooo comfortable! Pool was also great.

Bathroom was out of date, and it could have been nicer. Toilet ran the whole time.
