Everything was fine.

Very very simple
Not much to like about it

Nothing
This place looked as bad as the reviews. We were desperate for a room not to far from the Forks of Long Island. Did not feel safe with my children and parents (Seniors) with me in tow.
Decided to not even check in. Went to a chain hotel in Medford that was up to our standards (and we aren't picky people)

Absolutely disgusting. I feel like I should be doing meth here. This is now going to be the "Bates motel" in my mind. I hope you don't get murdered. There are literally dead flies on the bed

Flies in room, cigarette burns on covers of bed. Smell of cigarettes felt like it was a little hard to breath in room.

I didn't feel safe sleeping there and the sheets were dirty. I put the fridge under the door so I could ensure that the door couldn't be opened from the outside.

Basically it’s a dump but for the area the price is good. It was clean however. I had a wedding at Giorgio’s and wasn’t lying $600 a night so this was 13 min away.
The immediate area. The outside.

No breakfast.
Took copy of drivers license ~ I don’t like my information used for fraud, identity theft and it was not necessary.
Place was an unsafe worn out motel and misrepresented.
I did not stay the second night but paid for it.

Location is ok
There was bugs and spiders all over the walls, mosquitoes inside the room. I had made two reservations, one was cancelled and the front desk was not able to contact and let us know. When my other reservation showed up before us, they were asked to rebook the rooms & charged for both reservations then later on charged my card for the room. When reach front desk all they could ask was if we were ok with someone speaking Spanish to us, which we declined. Later said nothing was on their system showing any charged that in fact we owe them $20 for the room key which was left in the room. But apparently the housekeepers could not find. Front desk was very unfriendly and unprofessional. They ended up hanging up when i was trying to work things out and try to understand what had happen.

NOT THAT CLEAN OR UPDATED

The front desk agent was incredibly rude and sarcastic sat in his chair the whole time on top of it totally unprofessional

They charged 40$ more for the same room which we had already booked and paid via booking.com
Water closet was leaking. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut. Staircase to top floor was steep. Not ideal for elderly people.
I need this amount reimbursed by booking.com. Why was I charged the extra amounts he same room. What’s the purpose of reserving ahead. I could have gotten better options for this price,

It was cheap
It’s hard to really completely describe the experience of this hotel. Let me say this, it has a one star rating for a reason. In the last 25 years I have only twice sent a photo of the address of my hotel to next of kin before shutting out the lights. This was one of them.
But hey… I’m still here… that is about the best I can say.

Convenient location to some restaurants and outlets, as well as waterfront(ish)
Pictures were very deceiving, not as nice as we thought it was. Bed was also very small and the pillows were plastic
