It is hard to be objective because we felt judged immediately upon entrance.

The breakfast we paid for on Friday was delicious. The portions good. The service was awesome. We liked the hot tub. We appreciated the decor.

There was no breakfast provided. Then the restaurant was closed on Thursday's which we didn't know so couldn't even pay for breakfast on site. I understand it could be the season but it would be nice to know that ahead of time. Even getting coffee in the room was inconvenient as we had to go ask for a new packet each morning. Then I got the coffee but wasn't offered creamer packet. They say it is for "safety" that the rooms aren't even checked, but any virus doesn't hang on "things" so to not even bring coffee to rooms or make sure there is enough coffee to last the person's stay would be grand. We were charged more than booking.com charged us and then were told we shouldn't use third-party booking but call them instead. I explained we were on a trip and stayed several places, but to no avail. Then we got our "welcome" letter and it said if we are unvaccinated we should wear a mask. This does not value your customers like you say, especially in Fall of 2022 when the facts are in. The letter stated even though the CDC came out with new guidelines, they don't hold to them. I am sure while the CDC said what the owners wanted their letter stated they followed CDC guidelines, but when that changed, well, let's continue to divide one another. The truth is out for all to see...there is no difference between v'd and un'v'd. And if you are fearful of covid, consider there are far more dangerous and contagious diseases out there you aren't fearful of - Anyway, much more I could say, but again, for the price we paid compared to two other places we stayed which provided breakfast, were far more accommodating, (one even in Ely), we were frustrated at the suggestion that those who made different health choices were being discriminated against. Those places were half the price, just as comfortable, and much kinder.

Perfect setting for exploring the area. The water sports amenities and location were great. The room was comfortable and very clean.

Time to upgrade those shower heads in the bathroom!

Pet friendly oasis in the winter♡

Pet friendly and wonderful staff. They made sure to accommodate my dog and that was just wonderful! They allowed me to have my family there to use the pool for the evening as well which was great too! The food was exceptional!

Horrible bar staff

Rooms were nice and the view was great.

Staff from the bar area were rude and made me feel unwelcomed. Because of them I will be taking my future business elsewhere.

I would recommend this hotel.

The location was very nice. Our room looked out over the lake with fall leaves still on the trees. We had dinner in the Lodge at Evergreen. The food was good. The bed was very comfortable, not hard as a board like many places.

It was a disappointing stay.

Location was good. Breakfast was good.

Check-in time was 4p.m. room and bath disappointing for the price. No balcony at the rooms. Bar was noisy and appeared to have many non guests Dining room was crowded at dinner.

Quiet location close to downtown Ely. Clean and spacious room, good restaurant for breakfast

Room cost was a bit pricey. The cooling/heating unit in the room could use some adjustment as there seemed to be a wide temperature range between the unit turning on and off

We loved the resort and would certainly stay there again if we went back to Ely

The resort was great and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The kids LOVED the pool. We also enjoyed having a kayak to take out on the beautiful lake.

I would have loved for breakfast to be included, but did appreciate the free kids meals

Very nice room in a spectacular location, with a few disappointing (and easy to fix) quirks.

The room was very good and the view from the room was spectacular. We enjoyed the breakfast and the friendly server. Parking was always easy.

The beautiful lawn on the backside of the hotel (but facing the spectacular view) was littered with bits of trash, finally picked up on our last day. We had to complain at 11:30 PM one night because of VERY NOISY people partying on the deck outside the bar. All guests are given written instructions that quiet time is from 10PM to 8AM so this was dissappointing. One morning the sitting area in the main lobby was littered with lots of dirty bar glasses. They remained there from Breakfast until later in the morning when we left for our day's activities.
