It was OK.
Room could have been cleaner.

The employees were great and friendly, the room was mostly clean but just dumpy. Wall paper peeling off the wall, tile missing off the jacuzzi, hair dryer looked like it would electrocute me. All in all place needs a major makeover for the $331/night I definitely expected much better!
Facility needs a facelift

The bed was comfortable, but could hear the people in the room above us walking and dragging luggage across the floor.

Room was big and clean. quiet AC, good hot water and pressure and plenty of room in the bathroom!! Nice front desk lady!!
Back door was warped and very unsecure, swimming pool was not open .... and the breakfast could have been a lot better, more variety of fresh fruits like, strawberries, cherries, melon, etc. Waffles and eggs, different kinds of tea, since I don't drink coffee. Thank you!!

The staff was nice.
The pool was closed, the room was filthy. My grandson spilled his water on the floor and when I wiped it up the white towel was black. There were empty beer bottles and other trash under the bed. The reason I booked this room was because of the pool for my grandsons to swim and then the pool was closed when I got there.

The room was ok, there were clean sheets on the bed.
The hotel is very outdated. There is a horrid smell throughout, very musty.Worst coffee ever and powdered creamer. As we pulled up there is a window above the entrance with a ripped screen and a cat in the window ? All windows were open upon our arrival instead of using AC.The pool was under renovation but not disclosed on website.

Location is accessible.
Comforter, bedsheets were stained dirty despite being white. That was the biggest throwoff and we couldnt sleep properly as a result. No elevator so not really accessible for all.

Location and staff very friendly and helpful.
Pitiful breakfast, old stale bagels, empty service container which had no indication of what was once there! No security as most outside doors were unlocked. Pool was closed. No Kleenex. No coffee pot.

The hotel was clean. Designated smoking area convenient for guests but away from the main entrance. Price was right. Staff was all super nice and friendly. Free breakfast.
Pool and guest laundry, which were features I purposely chose this hotel for, we're not operational and this was not disclosed anywhere prior to booking, or we would have chosen to stay somewhere else.
Unfortunately, I pre-paid and it was non-refundable, so we were stuck.
The one vending machine didn't work at all.
The fridge in our room froze everything overnight.

the price was very resonable.
The rooms were not made up apon our arrival at 1915. The staff at the counter did upgrade us to a better room, but when we entered the room it wasn't cleaned either.
We meantion ths to the manager as we left for dinner. Upon our arrival back to the room after dinner it was cleaned and in good order.

Literally nothing. It’s the worst.
The dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
3.0 / 10.0
Didn’t like: Coffee was empty, flimsy paper plates and cheap plastic utensils, only sweet kids’ cereals, cold hard boiled eggs the only protein.
Just about everything about the breakfast was cheap and dull. Also in our room the bathroom door couldn’t close.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they tried their best to overcome the hotel's obvious dated appearance and other shortcomings. For one night, the hotel was okay, but I would have booked elsewhere if we were staying longer.
My first impression when I drove up was "is this really the main entrance?!" The lobby was full of shovels and ice melt. Now, I get it ... it's WNY, it snows, it's cold and icy, but perhaps it's not the best greeting for visitors to view when they first drive up. At first glance, I thought the lobby was full of trash! There's a big water stain on the ceiling over the front desk, and a sign that says they are remodeling. They told us we could either have a first floor room, or an upper floor but there was no elevator. No elevator?! How is that even allowable with ADA regulations these days?! We opted for first floor. The entrance we used was a side entrance near the pool, which was unlocked all night long. I thought perhaps it might have been unlocked with our credit card key, but nope. It was unlocked, which is certainly a safety issue. If Batavia were a rougher town, I might have been quite concerned! This entrance is also used by employees and guests to smoke, so it REEKED of stale cigarette smoke. Luckily, our room did not. The room itself was fine, though a little dusty and there was a big cob web on the heating unit. Bathroom was clean and fine, but had only one set of towels, despite our booking for 3 adults. The beds were okay, the linens were clean, the carpet was recently vacuumed, and the TV stand and nightstand had a slight layer of dust which could have been improved. It took a little finessing to get the TV to work - using 2 remotes - but we figured it out. Disappointed in the breakfast, which "due to staffing issues" was only available via pick up at the main desk. It included your choice of bagels (but no way to toast them), granola bars, yogurts and juice. Post-COVID, I don't think this excuse flies any more. They had a nice area for a breakfast bar, yet we had to pick up our breakfast from the front desk like it was a McDonalds.
