King size bed was very comfortable, very clean room, bathroom recently refinished, very nice. Hot breakfast OK- eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, yogurt, cereal. pastries. Coffee was not good, but other options nearby the hotel. desk personnel were very kind and helpful. Concerned at first that they permitted dogs on the property, we were told that they keep these rooms separate for dog owners only, understanding many have allergies to animals. Only dogs were permitted on the property no other pets. However, we did not see, or hear any dogs during our stay.

This is a two level outside-entrance only facility. We stayed three nights, one night at a standard low affordable rate, and the next two nights had to pay nearly three times that low rate because of Virginia Tech graduation that was taking place in Blacksburg, over 40 minutes away. The rate we paid was comparable to a standard rate of a upscale hotel, of which this is certainly not. Because other hotels in the area were completely booked we had no choice but to pay this exorbitant rate for a budget hotel.

No stay -- just disgusted.

We arrived at the property approx. 5pm. We were unable to register - we booked this hotel because it advertised pet friendly - it is not. The hotel only accepts dogs. My pet is a small cat; consequently we were turned away, and could not keep our booking. this was a huge inconvenience, especially as we had travelled 12 hours to reach the hotel. The upkeep in of the facility wasn’t bad

I couldn’t get it extended stay for work purposes because I was told they don’t have housekeeping Hooker clean up after 12 PM. I pacifically told him I chose that hotel for work related and my hours and shifts.

It was a good value for the money. I would stay there again.

The young man at the front desk when I checked in was very personable and nice as was the young woman at the desk the next morning. The breakfast was very good. I appreciated the hot decaf coffee! I especially liked the lighting by the beds. There are extensions to the lights so that one could read in bed and not bother someone in the other bed. What a great idea!

I could occasionally hear some road noise earlier in the evening, but it wasn’t too bothersome.

Will for sure stay there again

The only thing I would mention is the breakfast had eggs but no condiments to put on them and there was no fruit offered. Other wise the eggs were hot and tasty. Had to yogurt and waffles. I did not try the waffles . Also the resaurant right next door for dinner was a plus and very good

The room is a good size, the beds and pillows are comfy, and the location is convenient.

The sheets were very staticky, perhaps due to the extremely cold weather.

it was close to I81.

I booked a room that was supposed to be a Mountain View did not happen. could not close the bathroom door it was way to small to do so. the bathroom sink was in the bedroom area. we got placed on the second floor because the first floor is just for guests with animals does not matter if you are disabled you must climb to the second story because they have no elevator.

It was okay, but I'll try to stay somewhere else next time.

The bed was really comfortable--this was the only real plus, but it's a big one.

The bathtub was so grotty looking I decided not to shower (it was probably clean enough, but it was visibly peeling). I am also not a fan of hotels without interior hallways.
