Breakfast was absolutely delicious- what a wonderful way to begin the day!

Breakfast was a definite high point to a great stay. The Inn is an historic home on a quiet residential street in Eureka. The grounds are beautiful with a comfortable area to sit in the garden. Our generous room was on the top floor. It included a bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen.

Great place to stay, the owner is very knowledgeable about the area, gave us great insight on places to see and ones to bypass. GREAT BREAKFAST EVERY MORNING.
the weather, cloudy with a high of 62, but we enjoyed ourselves.

beautiful furnishings in a convenient & quiet location. I loved the towel warmer in the bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was very good . We were in the main house upstairs which is very private. The bed was very comfortable as well.
The heater in the bedroom wasn’t working well and we were cold.

We stayed in the bungalow on the property. It was very private, the place was very clean and cute. Breakfast was yummy and brought to our door in a picnic basket, OJ, creamer and coffee were in the kitchen when we arrived for next days breakfast, my husband had issues figuring out how to make the coffee himself and ended up going to buy instant coffee packets down the road LOL. Contactless check-in, did not see the host the whole time, but spoke to her on the phone as we had a small issue with shower drain not draining. She did credit us a small amount for the inconvenience. I would stay here again if ever in the area. We only stayed one night. The main house is beautiful too, I'm sure would be just as nice to stay in. I also left my phone charger in the room after check out and the host offered to mail it to me which I received 5 days later, that was going above and beyond in my opinion! ;-)

The yard was immaculate. All the plants were lush and well manicured. There is an outdoor fireplace available for use, however we ran out of time and did not get the opportunity to use it.

I felt spoiled. The accommodations had all the creature comforts and then some! Breakfast was unbelievable!!! Delivered in a beautiful basket, Mexican frittata, corn tortilla, green chili sauce, fruit and yogurt. Fresh O.J., cream for coffee, and bottled water in the fridge. The place is beautifully decorated, has an electrical fireplace to warm you. And a towel warmer!!! Don't think you could find a better Bed and Breakfast!
Parking in the driveway was a little challenging.

Renee, the owner, and her staff are great folks. We stayed in The Bungalow, which was where we had stayed before, and it's just wonderful! Well put together and nicely decorated, and the home grounds and gardens were quite pleasant - a good place to rest and relax. The home is in a quiet neighborhood. The entire place is very clean, and if anything is needed it is given immediately. The breakfasts are wholesome, varied, and always a fantastic surprise in the morning - enough to hold out some leftovers for a snack later. Renee was kind enough to even give us a tour of the original home. We'll be back!
Can't think of a thing.

We LOVED the Hydrangea Inn. It is a beautiful home in a lovely area of Eureka. While it is not within walking distance of the old town area, it is easily drivable. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. Though Renee is carefully managing COVID requests of her guests, nothing was bothersome. We stayed in the little bungalow which has a fully supplied kitchen (toaster, etc.) but didn't use any of it except the coffee/tea makers as Renee brings a delicious breakfast to your door each morning and wonderful cookies in the afternoon. There was a lovely secluded patio area just outside of the door and a beautiful flower garden surrounds all areas of the property. Located on a lovely street and surrounded with similar beautiful homes, it was a wonderful place to stay.
Wished we had stayed longer as the surrounding coastal drives are jaw dropping! We were there 3 nights and easily could have added another.

This place was very 1930s nostalgic decorated, very clean, and comfortable. Great location near the Red Woods, ocean, and other exciting places to see. The B and B owner was respectful and kind and provided a very great homemade breakfast.
There was nothing I did not like.

This is a very well-maintained and appointed classic home, with a tasteful selection of classic furniture and decor combined with modern conveniences. Freshly cooked gourmet breakfast every morning was delicious and sumptuous, adding a nice personal touch from the inn-keeper. Enjoyed our stay.

Very cute tiny apartment, well thought out with a complete kitchen, living/dining area, bedroom, closet space. The house and grounds are lovely. Check-in is contactless due to covid. Our host Renee brought us a wonderful hot breakfast in a big basket in the morning.

It is a beautiful house built in 1930 by the current owner’s great-great aunt. The interior decorations and gardens are marvelous.

All the furnishings, hardscape, & landscape were well maintained and appointed. We wish we had a few more days There was a very charming antique desk and office where I did a bit of writing and catch-up.
Everything was great and Renee was vey helpful. The only minor thing is that you can’t really walk to any restaurants or stores, but thats not really a negative because it was safe and quiet.

It would have been nice to enjoy the inside of the beautiful home the dining room and lounging area but because of covid it wasn't available
