The room at night was a little hot and it would have been better if there was more cold air.

We had a nice time here. Comfortable, spacious house with comfortable beds. We liked all the antique items/touches around the house. Really liked the different seating areas around the property. Connie was warm and welcoming throughout. Great communication - fast and helpful from the moment of booking.
A bit more variety in the breakfast offerings would have been good. Having seen the comments about breakfast in other reviews we had been looking forward to some of the fare others had mentioned. We were probably expecting to see other animals on the farm/ranch.

The AC wasn’t cool enough at night

Big house, nice owner, mountains and quiet. Clean room with a large window, refrigerator and large bathtub. There are cool places to laze around outside, friendly dogs, and even a little telescope. Very tasty breakfast!
My wife complained about the hard bed, but I personally was very comfortable. You know, pregnant women, they're capricious.)

Breakfast was fabulous both mornings. Fresh fruit, hot from the oven biscuits, eggs, juice, coffee, tea. Lovely home, spacious room and bathroom. Perfect location for visiting Kings Canyon. Connie was a gracious host and saw to our every need including hiking advice in the parks. Would stay again if we are in the area. 😊

Connie is a wonderful host. If I would describe her home in a few words it would be: crystal clean room, tasty homestyle breakfast, amazing location. The stay at this B&B exceeded our expectations. Extra thanks to Jeff))

Fantastic ranch, fantastic host, fantastic breakfast! Connie is giving great advices on how to make your day in the National Parks even better and is a great person to talk to. I've never been in an accomodation where indeed everything was perfect - from the beds to the porch to the food. Highly recommended when you plan to visit Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.
There is absolutely nothing that I can write here - everything was more than perfect.

We found this unique place for our Christmas getaway with family. What a stunning location! Peaceful, green, cows grazing around, mountain views, and close to the Kings National Park, too. The room we stayed in (family size) was clean with all the necessary amenities and we had the most gorgeous mountain vistas from our window. The kitchen, the living room are spacious. Lots of books to read, many family games. The host Connie went out of her way to make us feel home. She is very friendly and hospitable. She made delicious breakfasts every day, from scratch. We will be forever grateful to Connie for making our vacation memorable. We will be talking about The Branded Calf for a long time! Thank you, Connie!

One of my favorite places at this point. Connie is the exceptional host and cook! I've felt like being back to my parents house. Very warm, cozy, friendly and informative. I would highly recommend the place for families with children. The house is spacious with lots of dogs and board games. Also there is a playground outside! The rooms are very clean and beautiful. 110/100! Also the house is very close to all national parks and yet not too far from downtown Fresno (40 min or so).

The room we had was very clean, cozy and cute. The attached bathroom was big. The landlord Connie is a superb great host! She made breakfast for guests by herself with everything from scratch, from her farm. It was healthy and delicious. She is very knowledgeable about the region and gave us very useful tips on what to do in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much from the minute we checked in to the time we left the house, particularly the breakfast conversation with Connie!

The property was clean and facilities were nice. Owner was helpful with suggestions for the area
There was a litter of puppies right outside the window - literally. The puppies whined and cried until 11 pm and started again before 5 am. This should have been disclosed and really this room should not be rented if there is active puppy breeding. Paying a full price room rate and not being able to sleep with full days of hiking planned was an unpleasant surprise. We would have been better rested sleeping in our truck. We got up so early due to the puppies and didn’t even get breakfast.
