Bar/lounge area was very accommodating.....
We stayed in room 221, which apparently was next to some sort of "motor" which ran all night, neither my wife nor myself slept......and I dont need you to tell me how many sentences to write. Also, the toilet seat was broken.

the room was spacious and clean.
Didn’t realize it had a shower vs a tub but it was still nice, just not ideal for bathing a baby

Loved the staff and breakfast. Also loved the room, it was huge!
The bathroom was a little dirty. It looked like the floors could have been cleaned better,

Location was good (for most weekends-not this particular weekend because of the fake patty's day-which is NOT why I was there)
The staff at the lounge bar and breakfast was really outstanding.
The breakfast itself was not that good. In particular, the eggs were really unedible.
Guests were not guaranteed parking. Apparently all the parking was being taken by people celebrating the fake St. Patrick's day. But the hotel did nothing to keep others from parking there and prioritizing actual guests who needed parking. I was stuck at the hotel on Saturday, and unable to leave for fear of having no place to park my rental car upon return.
The hotel itself was extremely loud with guests running up and down the halls at 2 and 3 a.m.
I can't really fault the hotel for being loud considering the weekend. I had no idea this was happening, so it was all a surprise to me.
The worst part of the trip was the flea bites I had all over my ankles from the room. At first I thought it might be bed bugs, but I believe it was actually fleas, which I suppose is the better option of the 2. I took a photo of my ankles that were covered in them and extremely itchy and they look like flea bites, not bed bug bites.
I expected a restful and clean (no fleas) hotel room considering the cost.

People working at reception and restaurant were nice.
For the first time I experienced seeing a cockroach in a room! A small baby cockroach was moving around inside a coffee maker. I promptly reported it and we were shifted into another room. The manager sent an e-mail response indicating that they do have pest control which comes regularly, I wonder why then there was a cockroach. Also a baby cockroach means that there is more infestation with adults in the room.
The suite room was very big, however, the window air conditioning unit was very uncomfortable which didn't allow us to rest well.

I loved the location and the breakfast. the kitchen staff was amazing.
The pool was closed for maintenance. I booked the hotel for my kids to swim in the indoor pool. I was really upset it was closed

The location and staff
The room still had dirty towels in it, and the shower was dirty.

THis was my 2nd time staying at the Bluemont for business with the K-State University team. I showed up early, and they were able to allow me to get checked in prior to standard time, which gave me some time to complete some work in private, in my room, instead of hanging out in the lobby.

Breakfast was great, with rotating specials each day. Room was ENORMOUS. There is a place attached called Goolsby's, very fun self pour tap house with sports simulators and mini bowling. Located next to KSU, so a lot of bars and small restaurants in the area.
The only thing I can even think of that wasn't perfect was the parking was a bit confusing, as they have a small parking area by the check-in bay, and you have to go through an alley to get to the parking garage if that is full

Location is perfect. Breakfast was good.
Some outlets didn’t work in room.

The Bluemont is consistently a clean and comfortable place to stay. Staff is accommodating and knowledgeable. There is an in house bar with good specials and a nice breakfast. It is an easy walk to K-State and Aggieville.
The airport shuttle is very convenient, but you may want to confirm your scheduled pick-up before you arrive. My daughter was left at the airport as it was closing. Bluemont sent the shuttle back to get her and the other guests that had been left behind. I was grateful she was not alone.
