This is a fabulous charm filled boutique hotel. We loved our king suite with the brick wall, fireplace, and high quality linens and bath products.
Port Townsend is a sparkling gem and this hotel is walking distance to everything.
I wish I had stayed longer.

Location and overall hotel.
Very pricey

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms

Spacious. Well equipped suite.
Advertised at $224, but then they add $10 / night for parking (which is bizarre given other hotels in the area do not) and then with taxes you're looking at $286. I have to say that I did expect more given that other similar hotels in the town are half the price. Heating was an issue too, since we had to run a space heather to keep the bedroom warm.

Perfect location!
We went on a family trip with my two small children and our pet.
They welcomed us incredibly and everything was very comfortable.
At night we enjoyed live music!

Stairs very difficult to use carrying luggage. There should’ve been help for that, at the least. Ran out of hot water in evening, TV didn’t work for half an hour until Jessica? Not sure who she was… cane up to help us out. She had to phone Eric for help.

We loved the location of the hotel, the lovely garden, and the generous room. But for older adults the stairs snd lack of elevator make handling luggage difficult.
Having someone to assist with carrying luggage up two flights of stairs.

This historic hotel is one of a kind! We loved everything about it - from the original architecture and antiques, to the coffee shop downstairs, to the location! We will be back!

Good location fairly easy to check in.
It was way overpriced I traveled for 7 months in southern Europe and the middle east in 2022 and I had better places for from 50 to 75 dollars a night in high season and that was all book.com. That room is designed only for a single or a couple not for a family or someone traveling with a son or daughter. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. The price should have been no more that 125 dollars a night. This whole Victorian thing was kind of a sham.

Carrying a suitcase up to the third floor is difficult for 85 year olds. Thankfully a younger couple offered to carry the bag from the second to third level.

My room was a large suite with a kitchenette. The bathroom was clean with a great tub. The bed was very comfortable. The location was fantastic, and the building had a likable eccentricity.
Very many stairs, and hard to figure out without signage that check in occurs at the wine bar.

The beauty and well maintained property. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and accommodating.
We humans loved everything. My senior dog had difficulty with the staircase.

Location was amazing
Charming and quaint
Warm and cozy
We arrived after hours and getting in was easy with the instructions and lock box. The taff was very good at communicating through phone and text.
The hotel upgraded our room to a suite, however we didn't realize it would mean my 19 year old son then had to sleep on a roll away. We had to set it up ourselves so we had to move furniture to fit it awkwardly in the living room.
. We never saw a staff member in our 3 day stay.

the ambience the setting was beautiful. The location was great.
The fact that you could hear your neighbor next to you in the next room having sex and furniture flying from about 1030 till 2 AM in the morning and although we complained the staff stated they monitor the halls but couldn’t hear anything it’s just baloney. It was highly disappointing, upon letting them know what they said they investigated but didn’t find anything regarding the noise and said hey, come down for a pastry and coffee complementary when we text them at about six in the morning stating we were going to go ahead and leave early. It was a disappointing stay at this hotel, and I would not recommend it, for the mere fact of the rooms being thin walled

The historic building and wine bar and cafe.
The lack of accessibility, ie no elevator, ramps, and bars in bathrooms.
4.5
The breakfast was locally baked pastries and individually made coffees. The bottle shop doubles as a lovely cafe area with lots of sunshine, a cozy central seating area surrounded with small tables and chairs for two.
Perhaps, one day, some fruit for breakfast. The pastries and Americanos were delicious, the coffee locally sourced, so all was good. I would appreciate fruit in season, or a fresh squeezed juice. The absence would not discourage me from returning though.

Great location, very clean and cozy
For a suite bathroom access was through the master bedroom that wasn’t very convenient for a guest staying in the living room.
