It was just ok. Room was clean but the hallway smelled like fragrance spray as pets are allowed.

Location

Out of ice at ice machine, no microwave in room. Booking. Com says $12.00 for overnight parking when the Hyatt indicated that there price was $15.00 which I was charged. Was not informed about the amenities upon checking in. The view we had was the roof which was disappointing.

I enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Regency Bloomington.

Good location, easy access to light rail and mall of America. Took the Hyatt Regency shuttle from the airport to the hotel and it was quick and effortless. Clean and comfortable, nice restaurant (breakfast selection was very good and delicious). They held my bags for a few hours after I checked out while I was arranging my day. Everyone was friendly and professional.

I had a good experience with this hotel and would happily recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency. We will definitley recommend and hopefully return for future trips.

The security measures made us feel very safe! Key usage for the doors/elevator is a great touch. Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The only note I would have is the lack of areas to dispose of garbage. We only had 1 can liner in our room, and no clear place to dispose of it once they were full. It was more trouble than i thought to find a trash can around our room on 5th floor.

Our stay was comfortable and accommodating

EXCELLENT customer service!!! I made a huge mistake with the dates. The entire staff was very understanding and accommodating with my situation. Even though it was totally my mistake the staff never made me feel that it was. The property also has a breakfast and dinner/bar conveniently available on the premises. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Would not recommend staying here given the lack of customer service and the extra fee practices.

Room was clean and spacious although more towel racks are needed in the bathroom.

Room was not supplied with enough towels for our party despite number of occupants being clearly indicated on our reservation as well as at check-in. I waited 45' then another 30' after calling to have some sent to the room before going to the front desk to get them myself. Despite on our reservation as well as in e-mails from the property 1 day prior to check-in and on the day of check-in statements indicating that parking cost would be $12, we were charged $15. While I was not made destitute by paying the extra $3, it was nevertheless irritating. This is akin to a "bait and switch" business practice. One front desk attendant told me the increase was made 1 month prior, but another said it was made 2 weeks prior. Obviously they were just making excuses without really knowing why there was a difference. An 8% or so extra parking fee reflects corporate greed presumably. Parking space was more than ample. There are properties of similar quality in the nearby area that do not charge for parking at all.

Unpleasant due to the above but I now know these issues can be accommodating dated. Hyatt needs to make this known

Everything except the shuttle from the airport is NOT accessible. I was told they could send an accessible pick up but they don’t make this known.

So if you have scent allergies or accessibility issues and need the shuttle. Know that you can ask for a scent free room and an accessible shuttle to and from the airport.

It was great stay and I will be coming to stay again

Honestly, the whole experience was great but what was exceptional was the customer service. The front desk their was one guy that help me and just by far best customer service I've seen in a long time. And the food was amazing.

Will stay in this hotel again.

Parking is so easy. We spent the night before an extended trip and had arranged to leave our car there until we return. The shuttle to the airport was hassle free.

A fun weekend getaway

Location was perfect!! And having shuttle to the MOA is absolutely what we needed!! Room was extremely clean and every employee we encountered was friendly!! We saw employees cleaning constantly it was amazing to see!! Great job everyone it was definitely a very pleasant stay!!

The only thing I didn't care for was the air freshener that housekeeping uses smells like vanilla to me and that was a little overwhelming.. and I feel for as many rooms that are in the hotel , the pool was rather small.. but overall everything was still a 10plus

Bad

The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable. Front desk staff was very kind and our room was clean, large and comfortable. Easy to find right off the highway.

The first night I was there my car window was smashed and my car was literally stolen from the parking lot. Upon talking to the front desk I was informed there are no cameras that face or are in the parking lot. Ridiculous. I was asked to fill out an incident report to the hotel and was shocked when a manager never contacted or came up to talk with me. The kids at the front desk were nice and kind but I am so disappointed in management. I understand that these actions in reference to my stolen car have nothing to do with Hyatt but when you are required to pay 10.00 a day to park in your hotels private lot I do expect some security and accountability. Other than a water bottle and an I’m sorry from the front desk staff they did absolutely nothing. So much for a relaxing moms weekend away. My entire full day there was spent filling out police reports, contacting insurance and going to see my totaled car at the Minneapolis impound lot. I honestly couldn’t believe when it came payment time they charged me the full amount for our two night stay. Talk about horrible customer service.

It’s not a 4 Star Hotel

The only good thing about this property is it location and staff.

This hotel is like or worse the. Hyatt place. It’s not a 4 Star Hyatt Regency caliber. The bed was horrible. There is no desk in the room to work. The ambience looks like a glorified motel. I guess it’s primarily purpose is for mall of America. But it is misleading as “Hyatt Regency “. Someone should check its 4 rating as it claims. The club room was a mess with no cleaning. Will never stay here again for sure!
