The location is great and filled w/ low & high end shopping, bars, and restaurants. I stayed in the room with balcony and a tub 10/10. The view was phenomenal. Felipe at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. He helped us get the exact things we booked this hotel. Valet drivers were also fast and eager to help. For birthday I received a trio of sprinkles cupcakes.
The only complaint is the crickets, omg they were jumping by the front door and all over the balcony at night. We even had a few in our room that creeped in. I hate bugs so was truly disturbing and freaked me out.

The location of the property is optimal. You’re within walking distance of everything in the domain and you can self park for free in the Nordstrom garage next door.
We were “greeted” by Anya, and it was the WORST one could be greeted. She’s not a welcoming person and should not be at the front desk. It was a bad first impression.

Very convenient location, beautiful design and architecture, spacious room and unique round pool. We were impressed with all of the staff with whom we interacted, particularly Kenyan at the pool and Cameron at the main bar. We will definitely return!
Elevators could use a louder ping to announce arrival of a car. I wish the hotel had included a hot tub.

Hotel restaurant was good and convenient. Rooms were clean and comfortable, bathroom was very clean. Location is excellent with shopping and dining right outside of the hotel.
Customer service was not very good, employees were not very helpful.

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond - every person we met exceeded our expectations. We were checked in early, one of the front desk staff treated our son to a toy, the restaurant staff got us everything we needed, the bar staff helped us have a great time, the valet always got our car speedy and we’re super friendly. Our room was perfect for a family with a toddler. Every day the hotel left us little treats and water in the room. The location was great for anyone who wants to stay in north Austin… houndstooth coffee, culinary dropout, bakery lorraine were all a short walk away and great. Beds were great. Shower was great. We didn’t use the pool since it was a rare cold moment in Austin. Cannot say enough good stuff about there staff.
The price is a little high compared to other nice austin hotels but we were super happy with the experience so it ended up being worth it.

Staffing may have been the major issue, but room wasn’t cleaned well all three days I stayed. When I arrived the rug into bathroom was damp, let front desk know that night and maintenance came early next morning and discussed putting in a fan which didn’t arrive until I mentioned to front desk again. Operations person, Meredith, sent complimentary cheese and wine that day, sometime while I was out, which was thoughtful, but fruit was browned by the time I got back to the room. Left the hotel early the next day and assumed food and fan would be gone, but no, there was no extra tissue box in the room, bathroom counter tops weren’t cleaned well, etc… For the prices they charge, the service was indeed lacking. my friend’s room was cleaned well most of the stay either, albeit she didn’t have a damp rug issue.
Spoke with the manager on the day of departure and after showing pixs to tell the story and requesting compensation, Julian, made that happen. THANK YOU.
To charge prices like the Ritz, this facility needs to step up maintenance all around.

excellent location in The Domain shopping area. Beautiful decor, very clean rooms, and comfortable beds. Loved having complimentary illy coffee and assorted teas available in the mornings.
The rooms are very dark and need an extra lamp or two. A floor lamp near the window is highly recommended. Service at restaurant lobby for breakfast was slow and not great. Definitely felt the hotel was short staffed, but food was good.

Location could not be more perfect for my purpose of this trip. The bhreakfast was fast, hot and tasty. The bar was low key which was perfect. The only negative is that there are no food or bar snacks after ten pm
The price of course

The breakfast was excellent. I loved the texas shaped waffle! Very clean room with nice vanity! Lighting was excellent.
I personally didn’t like the dog friendly aspect only because i wonder if those rooms are separate from everyone else’s. I personally have allergies to some dogs. I don’t know if i just didnt spend enough time in the room or if i got lucky and had a ‘non pet’ room. In order to keep the integrity/ quality of the hotel please keep ‘non pet rooms’ available. If hotels do a ‘smoking/ non smoking’ options and keep then separate please do a ‘’pet friendly/non pet friendly” room
