The location was great.
The blanket on the bed was really thin. Seating in the room was uncomfortable with the chair and at the desk. Didn’t really like the shower with no door and seemed to never get warm enough.

The location is perfect. The breakfast could use some work.
We had an ADA accessible room and the door latches did not work properly.
We tried to book the room for another upcoming stay and we were not able to book that far in advance. Why?

Very lovely facility, very good breakfast, best bathroom we have had .
Cost of breakfast was added and I did not see it on the Booking site so the total cost was surprising. Still total was not unreasonable.

Availability of breakfast was nice. Good variety of breakfast foods.
the windows on the front entrance were horribly smeared making them look very dirty. It did not give the impression of a clean place. The mirrors in our room and bathroom were the same horribly smeared. It appears they are using dirty towels to attempt to clean them. It made you wonder how clean the bedding was (bedspreads, blankets, pillows). I know these cannot be washed daily.

The entrance was beautiful as well as the lobby. The staff were extremely nice and friendly
The room was dirty: the bed linen, the towel hanging up in the bathroom was used (dirty), the wall in room had not been cleaned nor was the bathroom. Blonde hair was in the room as if someone had vacated the room and it was assigned to me.

The location was close by the stores to shop and the Christmas decorations on the main street. The restaurants were close by. Hotel is a beautiful place. You have to eat at Mayeaux's!
Not many handicap parking places close by the hotel.
I walked into the bathroom and found black mold/mildew on the walls of shower, went downstairs to report and lady said she could not do anything that night. Went back down next morning and spoke to another lady and she would have cleaning people clean it up. I mentioned if they would just spray it with mold/mildew spray, I would be ok with that. That was not even done. Went to eat and shop and returned and it was still not cleaned and room was not serviced and bed not made. I had left tag on door for service. Reported it again and still not cleaned. Went back to town and purchased mold/mildew spray and did it myself. Finally spoke to manager, Ebony Price and she was appalled that no one reported it to her. Very sweet lady. One young lady that worked the breakfast area and bar was not very friendly to either of us. Our friend shower had mildew as well but not as bad as ours.

Dirty room - fingernails under the filthy rug between the beds (I picked it up to move it becauseI kept tripping on it). Dirty bathroom - shower was moldy, a gross hair tie with hair was around the shampoo container, the shower floor was dirty. I went to the desk twice and called once to get the fingernails cleaned up. There was gross sticky stuff on the desk around the coffee maker. One bed had the fitted sheet inside out. Our stay was during the Christmas Festival, the room per night was nearly $600. AVOID.
Clean. The room was not clean.

The location
The bathroom was filthy and not what was pictured when we reserved. The tub hadn't been cleaned in ages and the drain was disassembled. There was a contact and lots of public hair in the corners near the tub. The entire hotel was filthy and needed a good carpet cleaning and mopping. We had a very thin blanket and froze our butts off all night. The ac was absolutely filthy. No microwave in the room. We had a courtyard view and had to endure endless Christmas music on repeat the entire time we were in the room. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything. We checked out a day early because the room was so unbearably unclean and uncomfortable. I'm hoping to get my money back from the night we lost. Absolutely a bait and switch hotel.
