Nice play for a stay close to K-Town

The room was cozy, parking was free and plentiful, and coffee was provided in the morning. The on-site restaurant was very good. Vermont Blvd. is just a block away, and there are lots of eateries within walking distance.

The noise from the room facing Olympic Blvd. can get loud because the windows are not double-pane. It’s best to book a room with a window facing south over the parking lot or the interior patio. The shopping center in the hotel doesn’t have much. No cable TV channels.

Great hotel, sketchy area.

Staff was great and respectful, the building and interior were nice and comfortable.

The location can feel pretty sketchy. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go out when the sun goes away. (Saying this as someone who doesn't live far from LA)

I wish I had a quieter room and one with everything working (i.e. the toilet)

The location was great. That's why I chose it. The 1st and 2nd visit was good.

On the 3rd visit, the room was noisy, both inside and outside, starting at 4:00 am and every hour, as the toilet was making noise and at 5 am, noise was outside, people coming in and out. Hence, I did not get a good night's rest as I had hoped.

Conveniently located, authentically Korean hotel near Downtown LA

Centrally located hotel in Los Angeles, near the Downtown area. Faster Wifi than most similarly-equipped hotels we stayed in on our trip, and very clean rooms which a great bathroom, television and very comfortable bed.

Staff are very professional and friendly but just something perhaps minor to note: not all of them speak the best English - this was probably our fault for not having done enough research prior to arriving, as most of their interactions with other guests seemed to almost exclusively be in Korean. This is also true of the room itself - the telephone's instructions are all in Korean, and there were labels on the toilet in Korean. This wasn't really an issue during our stay, as it went smoothly enough, but we did wonder how an unusual request/complaint might have been dealt with. We were given a room on the third floor facing onto a very noisy Los Angeles street. When we phoned down to request whether we could change to a different room, our request was declined despite the fact that we noticed other rooms available that were facing into the quieter parking lot. I think other reviewers have mentioned this, but the hotel's location, however central and convenient it may be, is not surrounded by the safest of streets; there is a slight air of danger in the surrounding streets, and although parking was included, it was in an outdoor parking lot staffed 24/7 by at least one security guard. During our trip we stayed in another hotel in the Koreatown neighbourhood of LA but did not at all feel anything remotely close to the sense of insecurity we felt around the New Seoul Hotel (probably because it is located much closer to Downtown LA, which is apparently known for this atmosphere).

Simple but effective

Big comfortable rooms, professional efficient service. The parking lot is constantly monitored which is good. Overall it’s good value for money, for LA

Our stay was the little break we needed and the cleanliness was the best part I was able to relax without worrying.

한인타운에 위치하며 공항과 각종 접근성이 우수함. 무엇보다 매우 친절한 호텔 직원분들의 서비스와 배려는 항상 올때마다 흐뭇해짐.

호텔 숙박고객에게 레스토랑 할인같은 프로모션을 한다면 좀더 이용해 보고싶은 마음이 들 것 같다.

Warm and cozy!

The hotel room was clean and very cozy, and it wasn't cramped! The staff are very friendly, and super nice! The parking lot has security there at all times which made me feel safe and relieved.

The outlet ports in the lamps were loose, so it was a bit of a challenge keeping our chargers or any other appliance plugged in properly.

위치가 나쁘지 않고 너무 시끄럽지 않은 곳에 위치하고 있습니다.

조식은 물론 기본 생수하나 제공되지 않고 일부 룸에서는 화장실 냄새가 납니다.

숙소룸을 한단계낮은걸로 변경 요청드렸더니 가능하다고 해서 그렇게 했더니 요금은 동일하게 청구 되었네요? 그러면 뭐하러 룸을 낮춰서 들어갔을까요? 일처리 황당하네요.

Great location in K-Town

The room was surprisingly large and clean. It looked like it had been recently renovated as the furnishings were much more modern than the lobby was. The bed was very comfortable and parking was included and guarded, though there was no gate. AC worked very well. Location is great for K-Town destinations with a ton of food options right nearby. Service was pleasant.

You're in the city and thus you should be aware that you will encounter homeless folks. When we stayed, there were quite a few established encampments on Menlo across from the hotel (near the construction gates). They are just there trying to go about their day and won't bother you. I was not a fan of the bathroom as it felt old and outdated (and is a bit small) and the water pressure was just OK.

Pas de bouilloire ou de nettoyage à sec comme pourtant affiché sur leur description Une des faces de l'hôtel, exposée à la circulation, est très bruyante. L'hôtel était peu rempli et nous avons pourtant été mises de ce côté... Personnel et ambiance peu chaleureux

Although the employees were friendly I wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff was great

The location and the room I was put in, there was a homeless encampment outside the window with a major road which I wish I had known to ask for another room. An American issue to resolve homelessness though not the fault of the hotel. The AC doesn’t work unless you call reception to put it on and then go adjust it manually in the room-only works in that order. Bleach stains on the carpets.

Good stay

Friendly staff, the parking guy is really chatty and helpful even though he barely speaks English. I feel welcomed. - clean room - view of the city - nice lobby - close to many restaurants and shops - not too pricey for a LA hotel
