Comfortable for a group of 4 or 6. Bedrooms and bathrooms have been refreshed - they were clean and comfortable. We really appreciated having the wood stove which took the chill out of the air (spring has been more like winter this year in the PNW) and made our stay very cozy. While kitchen is small, it worked for our group just fine. Keurig and regular coffee maker, 3 of 4 burners worked on stove, microwave, full size refrigerator/freezer, no dishwasher and limited counter space for drying dishes. Location is nice, only 15-20 minutes to the Lopez Island ferry, close to Islander Resort and boat moorage.
See note about small kitchen and limited counter space. Be sure to bring slippers as property requests no shoes in the home.

Down a long one lane private entry sits just a few homes, and one is Fisherman Bay Beach House. Huge lawn front and back are sloping, but with the most gorgeous view. The driveway is long and can hold the four cars in tandem that they allow. There are 8 stairs to get up to the main level on both sides of the house. The furnishings are perfect- comfy couches and ottoman, high bar style dining room table, wonderful outdoor dining table and chairs and two comfy loungers on the downstairs cement patio. The downstairs is accessible from the patio and holds a primary suite, bathroom with shower stall, laundry room and a perfect extra living area/office perfect for remote work or kid’s space. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a tub on the upper level. The Wi-Fi worked very well, but Verizon cell service did not (no big deal if you have iphones- wifi texting and calling.) This is a quiet peaceful place where you get to see the boats in the bay and the infrequent seaplanes landing (not quiet but really cool.) If the winds calm, from this house you can kayak over to the Islander for food and drink!
The two beds upstairs are doubles, 75” long and not good for tall folks. The kitchen is made for one person. There is no dishwasher, but a regular style coffee pot, blender and the oven/stove top worked well. There was only one medium serving bowl, two small serving bowls and only one big bowl in the whole kitchen and that was the base of the salad spinner! Vacasa provided dish soap and I found some windex (does not kill germs) and comet, but no covid killing countertop or table cleaning supplies. When I messaged to see if there were cleaning supplies I was told that Vacasa does not provide cleaning supplies and I’d have to buy my own. This is a BIG Covid time mistake by Vacasa. The listing says that it is low bank- maybe that is correct and there is a zero bank? Any rock “stairs” that may have been built down the steep path to the water are not intact. Nimble young folks will be fine, but this is not the easiest property to jump in your kayak and take off. We found this part of the bay super windy, and the water got choppy after morning- the strong winds may keep your kayaks on the car searching for calmer waters.

Beautiful location, right on the water! Spacious, comfortable, and easily accessible from the ferry. Really loved the large deck for enjoying the sunshine.
