Excellent accommodation with view of lake. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of linens for our group of 4.
Once in the cabin, it’s very quiet and comfortable. Pet friendly! With dog dishes and pick up bags provided.
Driveway needs improvement although description is accurate about 4 or All wheel drive recommended. Challenging for unloading and reloading items from lower level lot. Not best for anyone with physical limitations.
It’s remote and the road is twisty so I would recommend avoiding in winter conditions unless 4WD.
Hours are strictly limited to 4pm check in and 10am check out.

Everything was lovely.
Not knowing about the driveway until a week before our departure, after we had made rental car reservations, was...unfortunate. I am handicapped (ambulatory with device) so getting into and out of the property via the steep driveway was difficult. We would have planned a better vehicle choice had we known in time.

The setting and view
The concrete floors are atrocious. The total lack of window coverings except for the cheap paper covering in one bedroom leaves no privacy and no way to darken rooms to sleep in. Non working smoke detectors is a violation. For the price there are better accommodations

Location was great-quiet ,peaceful, and close enough to Sandpoint. There was a close convenience store for basics. Also close to the public "beach".
Very rustic...needs a couch or more casual seating.

the view
the garbage was over flowing in the kitchen can from the previous renter. the dishes were dirty and we had to wash them before we used them. the stove was dirty so opted not to use it. from the pictures we got the impression that the water was close by and it wasn’t.

It was amazing to see the family of deer we saw outside of our window every morning, The lake views outside the bedroom window were a great way to wake up to as well. The walk down to the rock beach by the boat launch made for a good way to start the day before breakfast. This was a very nice place for the price.
The main downfall of the Osprey perch was the driveway. prior to my stay, someone tried to make the hairpin turn and spun two divets into the driveway that got my car stuck and prevented me from getting to the top of the driveway. I was warned that an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive was required, but I didnt get the notice until after I had already rented the car.

Location- well appointed cabin. Beautiful setting...
Comfort of bed and pillows, lack of coffee and coffee filters, lack of hair dryer. Also the clean up fee of $90 was outrageous especially when asking people to start a load of laundry and starting the dishwasher,

Kind of tricky getting the key out of lock box!
. The futon bedroom didn’t work so well with the other adult couple in the loft room . That room was a little deceiving as to where it was actually located. The heat was hard to understand how to turn it on so we had a fire in the fire place. I’m glad it wasn’t too cold and didn’t need more heat. Need specific instructions on heat unit.

The place was exceptionally clean and quiet. The upstairs shower/bath was lovely.
The bedding and pillows were cheap, itchy, and uncomfortable. The upstairs toilet was not repaired, like the note in the guest book stated it would be, so we had to go downstairs to use the toilet. There were no extra blankets for use in the common room. The fireplace did not work.
