Heerlijk ontspannen sfeer.

Het doet wat gedateerd aan, maar dat is juist de charme van het hotel. Ook de gasten die het trekt snappen dat je rustig moet zijn in een wat gehorig gebouw. De parkeerlift is op zich een atraktie!

Ja, eigelijk ik het allemaal prima, houden zo. Er is geen lift, maar moet dat echt?

Overall we had a great time

Good hosts, beaufiful location

The bed was not a double bed but 2 single beds. That was terrible. You cant even cuddle in bed because the beds drift apart and you fall down to the floor in between. No coffeemaker on the room

Een gezellig hotel met vriendelijk personeel op een top locatie.

Heel vriendelijke personeel, goede ontvangst en een schone kamer.

Het bed vonden wij erg smal. En de kamers erg gehorig.

Kommen gerne wieder

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem sehr schönen Sandstrand, an den ich mit meinem Hund spazieren gehen konnte (wir waren Mitte April da). Es gibt auch zwei Strand-Restaurants in unmittelbarer Laufnähe. Das Zimmer (1. Obergeschoss) war groß, so dass drei Personen mit Hund viel Platz hatten. Das dritte Bett mit Federkern war sehr weich (für mich aber ok). Die Betten sind groß und bequem. Das Zimmer (mit Balkon) hatte einen tollen Blick auf Strand und Meer. Auch das Badezimmer ist geräumig, mit extra Duschkabine und einer Whirlpool-Badewanne. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und auch hier hat man die Möglichkeit auf das Meer zu schauen. Nicht zuletzt war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch der Parkplatz direkt am Hotel ist super (kostet allerdings extra).

Sehr schöner spontaner Aufenthalt

Super Lage, tolles Frühstück mit Ausblick aus Meer und große Zimmer!

Die Zimmer könnten etwas modernisiert werden und Teppichböden könnten ausgetauscht werden, meiner Meinung nach hygienischer. Ansonsten alles super.

A beautiful view and two good restaurants in walking distance.

Very nice breakfast and view from breakfast room. Staff were kind and even helped us when we needed to make a call.

Parking was difficult to find and we were afraid to go anywhere as our hard to get space might disappear. I did not know to book parking ahead so realized later it would have made situation much better.

Tolle Lage inclusiv

Strandnähe.Frühstück war gut und Ausblick aufs Meer toll.Parkplätze vorhanden.

Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Hellhörig.Zu wenig Ablagen. Keine Klimaanlage.

De lokatie,het strand recht voor de deur en de kamer,netjes,superschoon en fijne bedden. Alles prima!!

Enige minpunt is dat we 2 hoog op een kamer zaten en je moet dan een zware koffer mee naar boven sjouwen omdat er dus geen lift aanwezig is....

Ontspannen weekend gehad

Ontbijt top Diner 1 minpuntje,werd gelijk opgelost Zeer vriendelijk personeel Perfecte ligging,dicht bij het strand ,het centrum goed te bereiken met tram.

Er viel ons niets tegen,wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

Very good

The overall atmosphere and 'smaller scale concepts' of the hotel are great and I thank the owner for trying to keep it that way!

One could try to make the breakfast (which is great) a bit more eco-friendly as many items are individually packaged in plastic. Not easy, but worth a try.

The hotel is located next to the beach. beautiful beach view from the restaurant. The staffs are all friendly and attentive. The family room is spacious and super clean. We will come back.

Disappointing

Room was nice, spacious and clean. The staff was nice and provided additional baby cot when it was requested. The hotel itself is nice looking and in a very good location.

We were in the apartment at the last floor and heating system was not working properly moreover there were not blankets for the kids. We asked several time to check but nothing changed. In the morning it was so cold that windows were wet. it's a pity as this completely ruined our staying at the hotel that for the rest was good. No discount for the inconvenience was proposed.

I loved the building, the location, breakfast.. but most of all the people. They're kind, always with a smile, funny, helpful. I had the best stay in Scheveningen so far and I'll definitely visit and stay with them again ❤️

It is very nice when there is no wind

Really like this location. Amazing view from my room Also morning breakfast with the best view on sea.

The weather was so bad... The windows in the room were not airtight and there was a draft all night. The second night it started to rain and poured right on the floor

Great location, excellent view (room with ocean view) Friendly staff prepared a baby bed for our 5 month old baby and we’re very accommodating.

The lack of an elevator maybe a deal breaker for some.

Overall a throwback treasure in a forest of super modern buildings. We’ll be back.

Super friendly staff and communications. Fab breakfast. Very good supper. Location couldn’t be beaten, straight across from beach (via a little ginnel further down). Good to be able to book parking, which was tons cheaper than anywhere else in the area. The room was a generous size, very quiet with superb view. So great to be in a hotel, or at least building, which harked back to the days this place became a seaside resort. Delightful bar.

The room was cold when we got there. Warmed up when we put heating on. The decor was a little bit tired, though honestly that shouldn’t put anyone off.
