never more, stay away, it's very dirty and cold. I asked for a refund for the second night, but they did not, I just gave them $ 200, and found another place to sleep.

Free Wi-Fi. Middle of downtown
It’s a very old building that may collapse (doesn’t look maintained), room with 2 beds are tiny, bathroom has no toilet roll holder, no shampoo provided.

Location was good. For a historic landmark this hotel was filthy; carpets not vacuumed, trash spilling over in breakfast room from the day before. Room dirty, mold on wall, wallpaper peeling, no heat in room.
Hotel was dirty, could have been clean and not so dingy. The place was falling apart. For a historical landmark, no pride was shown in the care of the building or rooms. It didn’t have to be the ritz, but take of the hotel and rooms!

Very run down hotel…
Poor housekeeping

Nothing. This property was terrible and should not be on the market.
Everything was bad. The room was supposed to have a bathroom and turned out to be a shared bath. Toilet out of order and had to go to another floor to use shared bath. We wanted our money back and they said we have to deal with bookings.Com. This forced us to stay one night under terrible conditions
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I can’t say enough how bad of a place it is.

location of the property is brilliant, however the hotel is quite frankly, shocking.
the first room I spent the first night in hadn’t been cleaned, there was dirt on the carpet from the flaking paint, dust everywhere (triggering my asthma) as well as mould on the wall. It was a health hazard. I didn’t feel comfortable in the room and the bed made me itchy. I requested to switch rooms which they did the next day.

The hotel is in an excellent location in downtown Seward. It doesn't have any special amenities, but the rooms are decent and staff friendly. Prices in Seward are expensive, but that's to be expected in a tiny town that is a port city for large cruise ships. The hotel is a heritage property, so don't expect it to look like a brand new Hyatt.
I wish the hotel offered some sort of breakfast. Even water would have been nice. However, the location in the heart of the downtown area gives one a multitude of dining and shopping options.

Staff was super friendly at check in, allowed us to check in early. Location was perfect for walking distance to the sealife center, nearby restaurants & park.
Our sink in our room had a large crack which was not told to me until after we checked in, the toilet seat was dirty, the toilet paper on the roll was wet, the carpets in the room had not been vacuumed, the room smelled as if too much cleaning products or spray had been used, the heat was almost nonexistent & my kids, husband & myself were all really cold throughout the night. No way to regulate the heat in the room since it is an old hotel.

Loved the atmosphere, the vintage look and the history.
The hotel definitely needs some love and attention and cleaning.

The location was excellent.
There was no heat in the room which meant the carpet was damp, the room was damp, dust and mildew smell was apparent. when I asked staff how to get the radiator furnace to work, she fibbed and told me the hotel had central heat. so our room should be as warm as it was downstairs. No, I’m sorry, the hotel does NOT have central heat.
Also we barely had enough hot water for one shower in the morning. There were 4 of us. Zero hot water in the evening.
And we had “upgraded” to a suite with one queen bed and 2 singles. The hotel knew nothing of this upgrade, (which I paid for) and the 3rd bed wound up being a very uncomfortable cot.

location
Historic building in poor condition. 3- story, no elevator.
Needs remodeling; parts of wall in room falling off, carpets old, musty odor throughout building.
1.5
Location only
Hotel room booked but was offered upgrade room with neat and well-looked room photo was attached, we choose to upgrade which have to pay more. But what we got was an outside-the-hotel apartment with old shared kitchen with other locals, “without proper room cleaning done”. It was likely only trash cleared and put down towel, that’s it.
Awake every time anyone cooking food because our room door that connect to the common kitchen has big hole.
Completely not worth of money.
And staff never accept a call although during day time

Great location, interesting old furniture and history
Historic hotel but needs lot of updates inside. Stairs and walls dirty, room was clean(ish) but carpet had weird spots and pieces of things, not the cleanest. Bed was OK(ish), private bathroom OK(ish), windows dirty. I wouldn't stay there again unless much much cheaper (at given conditions). Yes, I understand that it is a very old hotel but still, for the price (200 USD/night) it should look better and well maintained inside. The receptionist was not very talkative, no info regarding the hotel and stay, just checked my ID, gave the key and of she went. Same in the morning. Checking out? The key and off she went...

History of the place
Rooms could be fixed up a little nicer.

I liked that this old building is in the register of historic places and that it has retained its old flavor through original light fixtures, etc. Surprisingly, there were sufficient 110 volt electrical outlets to charge all of our gadgets.
The staff was pretty indifferent -- they didn't seem to care whether there were guests requiring assistance or not. The windows didn't open/broken one wasn't repaired, just boarded up with plexiglass. That was depressing. The bathroom had been renovated and was clean except that a mildewed shower curtain gave off a pervasive sour smell.

The location was good, everything else about this stay was awful.
They changed our reservation when we arrived to a motel down the street.
The bathroom smelled really bad.
They incorrectly charged my credit card and I am still trying to get them to cancel this.

The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The hotel does have some neat history.
The hotel needs so TLC. Lots of peeling wall paper.

If we were suppose to get breakfast we did not. Just coffee and tea
Staff was helpful in providing information on local restaurants
Location was great. Loved the history on display

Breakfast wasn't much; Just some coffee. Maybe I didn't see it?
Never met the staff, ever. Got in late, the key was waiting for me which was great. Didn't see anyone in the morning, either, which was a little out of the ordinary.
Did not like the fact that I had to find street parking around the block, in the pouring rain...

Good location, easy to find. Historic building. Nice coffee room with coffee machine.
Old hotel that has to be updated. It requires the significant renovation and better maintenance.
The advertised video does not reflect the real situation of the rooms, hallways.
The request to replace the bulbs that were not working was ignored, etc
The garbage was not taking away

The beds were a little uncomfortable

No breakfast
Peeling paint and wall paper, no one at front desk, no ice, no washcloths or Floor towels, remote for tv didn’t work the only good thing was the location!

The description was misleading. Upon arrival I was told we were staying in the apartment. It was an apartment separate from the hotel, down the road and over a bar. The room was dirty and had trash on the floor. Supposedly the black trash bags in the closet were extra linens. There was a door to a shared kitchen that didn’t lock and was blocked from the kitchen side by a small, round, easily moveable table.
Their solution was to put us in another apartment a few miles down the road that couldn’t be found. The address took us to an RV park.

nothing
the hotel room was a block away from the hotel . it was in an apartment building on second floor. below the room was a bar and restaurant. the loud music went on into the early hours . would never stay there again or recommend.
