Hotel ok, aber viel zu teuer

Die Lage des Hotels ist Super. Direkt an den wichtigsten Metro Stationen und der Staten Island Ferry. 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu NYSE. Frühstück haben wir nicht versucht, das Restaurant ist nicht sehr einladend, es gibt genügend Bäckereien direkt in der Umgebung mit gutem Frühstück. Das Bett ist gut und die Zimmergrösse ok. Die Ausstattung auch mit USB Stecker etc. ok. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Klimaanlage im Hotel lässt sich sehr schlecht einstellen, entweder zu Warm oder zu Kalt. Restaurant/Bar sind nicht einladend. Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer ist schrecklich für uns Europäer. Das Fenster lässt sich nicht öffnen. Auch die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben absichtlich ein Haar meiner Frau auf dem Teppich platziert um zu sehen ob auch der Teppich gesaugt wird. Leider über 4 Tage nein. Ein Aschenbecher vor dem Hotel wäre super, dann würden nicht die Blumentöpfe als Aschenbecher verwendet. Für den Preis von mehr als 400$ pro Nacht erwarten wir einfach viel viel mehr.

We liked the benefits that they offer generally .

Housekeeping and management steals.

Breakfast was good but over priced but it was expected to be.

I had items stolen from my room. Management did nothing about it. My husband told me to tell them we found it and just to leave a review to let others know of this. They don’t offer room service unless asked. I never asked yet they still came into my room and stole. They literally had to dig through our clothes to steal what was stolen. Management just said they wouldn’t steal. No apologies or anything. Basically that I was lying. Coming down the elevator three ladies also had things missing from their room. Management won’t do a thing about it. I’ve never experienced this at any other hotel. I’ve never had my things stolen. On the website it even states you have to ask for room service a day in advance. I asked her why they even came in when I didn’t request it and she didn’t have an answer. I’ll never stay at Hilton again.

Cleanest rooms n comfy beds

My second time here in the past year. Love the cleanliness and how safe I feel here. The beds are sooooo comfortable. The accessibility between activities in Manhattan and Brooklyn are perfect.

Just like when I visited last August every night I would have to come back down stairs upon returning to get washcloths and towels

perfekter Ausgangspunkt mit Meerblick

wir hatten mit Meerblick gebucht und konten in der Tat Richtung Staten Island gucken; die Lage ist perfekt mit drei U-Bahnlinie in der Nähe sowie der Staten Island Ferry vor der Tür. Am Battery Park ist es auch grds. etwas ruhiger, mit dem Blick aufs Meer war man nicht den ganzen Tag "zwischen Wolkenkratzern"; dasd Personal war sehr net und hilfsbereit!

Wir hatten ein Frühstückbuffet erwartet, doch es gab stattdessen je Person 25$-Gutscheine pro Tag, mit denen wir aus einem sehr kalorienhaltigen Menü auswählen konnten (Burger, Pfannkuchen, alles immer mit der Option "Bacon" ;-)). Man wurde satt, doch war das einzig anschlussfähige an europäisches Kontinentalfrühstück die Toasts (Portion gerösteter Baguettescheiben) und ein Joghurt mit Erdbeeren, der auf Nachfrage als Naturjoghurt vorbereitet wurde - grundsätzlich auch dieser stark gezuckert mit Honig etc. - etwas mehr Flexibilität (z.B. auch ganze Stücke Obst) und damit Abwechslung wäre schön gewesen. Auch: durch die Notwnedigkeit zur Bestellung vor Ort dauerte das Frühstück Minimum 45 Minuten - für uns mit gemütlichem Programm kein Problem, ein schneller Snack wäre aber nicht möglich gewesen...

Enjoyed the stay except the issue with the cable channels.

Recently, I stayed at few Inns in the financial district and the breakfast served was free,they had a array of choices at this particular location.

The cable channels wasn't working properly upon arrival. I spoke to the front desk regarding this issue, a technician was assigned to look into it. He rebooted the system which added some of the channels that i'm familiar with.

Stoji za vyzkouseni

Dobra lokalita , prijemny pokoj.

Personal byl hodne naladovy. Obcas usmevavy, obcas mel clovek pocit, ze je obtezujete. Nekolik dni vam dali na pokoj vodu zdarma a dalsi den si vodu nechala recepcni zaplatit. Kdyby jsme byli driv upozorneni, koupime si vodu jinde a levneji. Aktualne se v okoli stavi, tak je tam trochu vic rusneji.

Der Aufenthalt hat meine Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt!

Aussicht und Zimmergröße sehr gut, individuelles Frühstück würde ich eher empfehlen als es fix zu buchen. Lage und Umgebung hervorragend, der Battery Park ist sehr erholsam für zwischendurch, Anbindung zu Öffis ideal.

Die Bedienung der Dusche war für mich zu kompliziert!

You get what you pay for!

The location was great. The staff was very friendly. My room was cleaned extremely well.

I stayed on the 9th floor and it smelled like dirty diapers.

Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt. U Bahn, Bus , Fähre keine 5 Minuten weg.

Das fürchliche Frühstück. Eine Woche Marmelade und Toast oder süsse Stückchen. Alles andere durfte man teuer für 20 Dollar kaufen

Bardzo dobry pobyt

Świetna lokalizacja: bardzo blisko stacji metra i w ładnej, spokojnej okolicy. Wyposażenie pokoju: lodówka, mikrofalówka, żelazko, etc. Było dużo różnych kosmetyków, a ręczniki były wymieniane codziennie.

Pokój mógłby być lepiej odkurzony (w różnych miejscach kurz).

Would stay again.

Great location for FiDi. Very close to South Ferry station and Whitehall station. Plenty of coffee options within 5 minute walk. Quiet rooms. Windows did a good job of soundproofing.

Had to let the shower run a good 5 minutes to get hot water.

Overall it was very good stay. Small disadvantages could not affect the comfort at all.

The bathroom door is not a standard one, but sliding which have distance between the wall and the door itself, because it could not ensure the proper soundproofing and if you are staying with someone else it could be an issue.

Friendly staff. Great location apart from the current road works out the front.

Location was good close to Staton Island Ferry Terminal, World Trade Centre Memorial and Wall Street. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly. Best so far on our trip.

Very difficult to park and drop off luggage with the construction work happening. If I had known about this situation at the time I booked I probably would have booked elsewhere.

Comfortable Stay with Superb Views

City Views: The views of the Dimond reef from the hotel are spectacular. Friendly Staff: The staff are incredibly nice and helpful, enhancing the overall experience.

Some corners might need more cleaning, specifically around the microwave.

Great solution for your New York trip!

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel! We didn't spend a fortune for a nice big room with a nice bathroom too. Location in the heart of the Financial District is just perfect and a step away from Battery Park where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. It's also very well connected both with Brooklyn and the rest of Manhattan and the neighborhood is much less busy than central Manhattan. We could also grab free coffee in the lobby every morning, which was great.

If you're looking for a special experience, this is not it. It's standard and anonymous, but for us it was fine.

An excellent place to stay and enjoy NYC

Excellent location, larger than usual room for NYC. Super clean and well maintained.

The lobby could use an update. The same staff person couldn’t find my deliveries that had been sent to the hotel. Later that day everything was in the reception. If the staff member would have been more thorough they would’ve found out where the deliveries were. We ran out of toilet paper on day 3 as it wasn’t replaced and there were no extras in the bathroom. Only minor things that sometimes make the difference.

Super Team an der Rezeption, besonders Nakita und Victor, aber auch Laura, Imra und an - neben anderen. sehr kinderfreundlich! Wir kamen nie an der Rezeption vorbei, ohne dass unsere Tochter an die Hand genommen wurde und sich was aussuche durfte. der Haustechniker hat unsere Karre repariert, die kaputt aus dem Flieger kam. und die Lage ist ideal, direkt an der 1, 4, 5, 6, R und W - keine drei Minuten Fußweg und der Staten Island Ferry, mit Spielplatz im Battery Park ...

La habitación era cómoda, grande, todos los días limpiaron el cuarto, la ubicación fue buena porque a pesar de no estar en el centro, se encontraba dentro de Manhattan y teníamos varias estaciones de tren muy cerca.

A veces esta zona era la última estación en algunos en algunas líneas del tren y por la noche estaba un poco oscura y solitaria la estación, así como también los alrededores. Pese a ello, no tuvimos ningún problema de seguridad durante el viaje, todo estuvo bien.

Took between 7-10 minutes for hot water to start in the shower. Also, wheelchair accessible design in bathroom is very poorly designed, with shower water leaking all over the bathroom. Room also didn't have a remote control (but got resolved after I called downstairs)

Excellent location for short family trips to Manhattan

Great location, close to many attractions in Manhattan. Customer service was on par with my expectations. Rooms were fantastic and comfortable for my family.

The location was great. The staff was friendly. The restaurant in the hotel was good.

Location is really close to the battery park subway station and to the entry point of ferry towards statue of liberty. The staff were really nice.

There was maintenance work going on right outside the hotel. In Uber as well the location was not shown. The corridors connecting the rooms are a bit cramped.

Excellent!

The hotel is in an excellent location. A few minutes walk from various subway lines and ferries to Staten Island. Also minutes from both Wall Street and Ground Zero. The staff is friendly and helpful. Free coffee is available every morning in the lobby. Around the hotel there are many places to eat and have breakfast. The room is a decent size, great cleanliness. The change of towels and cleaning is on request, it is carried out without problems, as well as any requests for amenities. Good value for money, considering the location. Truly a great reference point to stay in New York (Manhattan). Highly recommended!!!
