Apartment was lovely, great kitchen, well appointed. Would definitely stay again. Check in was a breeze. Didn't realize there was no AC until we checked in, however the apartment stayed comfortable even with outside temps at 80 degrees F.

We had a wonderful stay in this large, quiet, well-equipped, comfortable apartment. Our communications with Charlotte and Suzanna were timely, clear and relevant. The location was perfect. All the city sites and venues were within walking distance. It was so convenient to have butcher, bakery, restaurants, tram and bus within close proximity to the apartment. Taking morning walks to the nearby public gardens was a bonus. This apartment is in a perfect location for a great holiday in Bordeaux.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Charlotte was a pleasure. The apartment had all of the charm we hoped for. The location adjacent the park was perfect. Do visit the Science Museum and have lunch at the wonderful restaurant located within the park. We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

The apartment was excellent. Had everything we needed for 3 nights in Bordeaux! Location was excellent for the park and the LightPath train. We used google maps for the train. The apartment was quiet, and bed was comfy!

Great location! We loved our stay. Spacious, and felt really large because of very high ceilings. Perfect for an extended stay ( 2 weeks).

Could not be happier with this property. My wife & I know Bordeaux well; staying here allowed us to enjoy the city to the maximum. The apartment is well appointed and very comfortable. With the apartment located near both the Jardin Public & a very convenient Tram stop, we were able to capitalize on the joy of being a Bordelais! Will be our first choice on every visit.

This is a wonderful apartment within walking distance of the centre of Bordeaux. An older building with on the street. The pictures on the listing are perfect. Large rooms with high ceilings with magnificent cornice’s.
Very well equipped with everything you could need.
Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Lovely apartment, large, airy, spacious and well furnished and equipped. The property is very central to the city, we could walk everywhere around in downtown Bordeaux.
Our stay (21 nights) was just great from start to finish, thanks to Suzanna and Charlotte, both are great, considerate and attentive.
We would definitely consider to stay here again.

The property is pretty large by Bordeaux standards. It is conveniently located near a park and 10 minutes walk to the old town center.
We had a very smooth check in process, interaction with the property manager was also very smooth. She answered all our questions in a timely manner and went out of her way to help us get on the early 6am train going back to Paris.
We stayed for one month and had a great time. The one bedroom has everything we needed - from a small courtyard to spend time outside in good weather, to a wine fridge to keep your wine collection fresh and a fully automatic espresso maker to keep your awake in the morning. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area.

Very helpful manager and owner who sorted out some special requests.
Immaculate property, with cumfy bed, and full bathroom.
Kitchen has 3 ring hob and oven, plus fridge and dishwasher - all you need. Separate wc and washing facilities.
Huge airy living area, with wide-screen tv, table and chairs, plus settee and lounge chairs.
Well situated on the verge of the Jardin Public, close to tram and bus stops, and very convenient to the city centre, plus many bars, restaurants and local grocery etc shopping.
Thoroughly recommended.

It's like staying in a high end hotel suite
The apartment is wonderful - spacious and well furnished. The kitchen is first class and well-equipped. The owners and property manager thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. It was nice to tour Bordeaux and the wine country and be able to come back to a home-like atmosphere to relax. This is a fabulous place to stay. We will definitely stay here when we come back.

This is a nicely renovated apartment with 12 to 14’ living room ceilings and restored woodwork. Everything works well, the bed is comfortable and there is ample storage and a comfortable eating area. The kitchen is small but you can do some cooking.the apartment manager was punctual and pleasant.
The area has many amenities close by including groceries, meat and pastry shops, and some restaurants. The main areas of Bordeaux are a little farther away but the city was very walkable and public transportation was very good. We found some fantastic restaurants and loved the architure.
By rating the apartment 4 circles I don’t mean to downgrade it. To me 5 circles means perfect and this apartment has a few minor nits.
It’s on a side road with very few cars and can be considered quiet for a city apartment. However, there is an office in the building and especially during morning and afternoon commute times the building doors are always slamming. (This is an old building with old double doors.)
The washroom door does not shut and the bath tub has high sides that makes it difficult to get in for someone with mobility problems. The toilet is in a separate closet from the sink and tub.
All in, this is a nice apartment, better than most, and Bordeaux is a great city to visit.

This place needs to be cleaned , they need to get rid of the uncleanable carpet. Replace the nonstick frypans. new towels. Clean the dryer filters . All I could say is it needs a big update.
The only thing nice about it was the manager Charlotte. I’ll never go back.
I have had homes in Mexico for 13 years that I rent so I am aware of what is excaptble , what is great and what is bad.

Outstanding
We have stayed at Home Away and VRBO properties in France, Italy, Spain and England for 25 years - alone, with our children, and with them and their children - so we've learned a bit about selecting really fine houses and apartments to rent. When we walked into this apartment, however, we were stunned at its quality. From flatware to furniture, kitchen knives to closets, art on the walls to a kitchen which includes a built in espresso machine and a wine cooler. It is all very clean, appears to be very recently renovated with no compromises made, and everything works. Honestly, it is similar to a fine hotel room but about eight times the size and just steps from an entrance to the Bordeaux's favorite city park which includes a cafe and a serpentine lake. Think a glass of wine as children play or watch a puppet show, or a teenage Shakespeare troop and tango dancing couples practicing on the belvedere. If you've done these rentals before you will understand how that first trip to the grocery requires heavy bags and equally heavy expense. Not here. The kitchen is completely stocked with fine condiments, oils, spices and herbs - most likely nuts and cookies and ice cream, too - and that first trip will require nothing more than your dinner for the night. Even with hip problems, we could walk everywhere in the city, and we did. And then there is the property manager, Charlotte, simply the best of the best. Along with a seven bedroom villa outside Siena rented for our whole family (since purchased by a film producer, taken off the market, renovated and featured in Architectural Digest), this apartment ranks at the very top of our list. Stop looking; rent it.
