A beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Bar and restaurant meals available. I had a bar meal and enjoyed it very much.
My single room was really very small. Tricky to fit in me and my suitcase. The breakfast was not great but obviously caters for large groups.

decent location
stuck in the crap rooms at the back in coach house. waling through the corridors and in the room dust on skirting in corners and frames. thick

Fashionable old historic hotel, perfectly located for walking round Llanberis and hiking up to Snowdon.
Once figuring out the labyrinth to our room, we found the hotel full of atmosphere and charm.
Great parking provided, nice food and cosy hotel pub - this fulfilled all our needs for our 3 nights stay.

The facilities were good, and the breakfast was nice. Also, the staff were friendly.
There were unfortunately cobwebs everywhere which I sort of expect - but they were massive. Also, went to have a shower and the plughole was absolutely full of someone else’s hair which really was not pleasant. The shower cubicle has a lot of mould in.

It was right by Snowdon Railway station
In coach house it didn’t have a bathroom fan but that would be due to building type

Attentive staff..very clean
Loved the grounds..
Had to request a room change. Workers doing kitchen repairs very late at night, very noisy, loud chatting and banging car doors at 2am. However, staff on it straight away. Got upgraded, much better room.

Location was perfect! Breakfast and dinner was lovely! We had a view of the mountains from our room which was gorgeous! Staff couldn't help enough, very friendly.

Loved the rooms and the site. I was looking for an old fashioned hotel and this was it. My mother was thrilled and loved every minute. Great food and breakfast was phenomenal
I smoke. Yes, I know, I'm a pariah. However, the route to take to have a ciggie was long and convoluted. It was a beautiful location but because I have trouble walking, it was hard for me.

Perfect location for my running event.
Very clean and great facilities

Great location for Snowdon and walking.
Noisy - there was a tap with rushing water dispensing every time a shower was used right outside the window. But the price was right and breakfast good so that was a minor niggle and I would stay again.

Whether in Reception, Bar or restaurant the staff were all very friendly and helpful. They were keen to offer help rather than waiting to be asked. It was a great feeling

We liked the hotel location and the wonderful garden. Breakfast was enjoyable in a side room overlooking the garden.
Bar food menu was a little limited but of high quality with a fast service.
This is quite a large hotel but we were not impacted by noise or events as we had been warned at booking.
Carpet in the bar areas was a little tired and grubby.

Enjoyed my stay at Royal Victoria Hotel. Friendly staff, food (dinner, breakfast) absolutely amazing. Located in a great area for those who want to hike snowdon and also for those who want a relaxing stay, beautiful garden and lovely view from observatory.

Does what it says on the tin. Well worthy 3 star venue.
It’s an old building so naturally has that old feeling however don’t let this put you off, I’m quite picky and was overall satisfied.

Lovely hotel, clean, comfortable, friendly staff and delicious food served in the bar and restuarant. Perfect location for the Llanberis Path and Moutain Railway.

Location / Access - I was en route to the Irish Ferry and it was a straightforward drive to Bangor and then Holyhead.
Sadly this has to be one of the noisiest places I have stayed. The corridor outside and the room above had really squeaky floorboards. Traffic noise from the main road seemed to funnel up the drive and through the single glazed windows.
The staff were helpful and efficient but seemed a little disengaged from what is happening
Any drinks for breakfast were from machines, not a great idea and especially for tea drinkers.
Huge single galzed sash windows. I had to stand on a bench seat to close teh window and I am 1.9 m (6'2" and had to stretch to do it). The room had been left open and was cold when I arrived.
The room is odd shaped, no problem but the 'desk' and chari blocked access to the bathroom.
