Special, thanks to Nathalie at the reception of residence, Les Valmonts, she was extremely responsive to our needs and very helpful. The room was really good and conveniently located. It was easy to get around the resort and then Nursery at Vaujany was absolutely fantastic.

We liked the warm and friendly welcome from the lovely receptionist.
The town, the apartment, the lifts, the buildings etc are all very clean, modern and well maintained.
The apartment was very functional, it had everything we needed and was quite spacious; with a little imagination and updating it had the potential to be much more homely and stylish.
We were cold on our first night and needed to sleep in leggings and thick sweatshirts. our apartment (number 1) was also quite dark and draughty when windy
There is no outdoor seating on the balcony / terrace, which was a shame because the sun came out on our second afternoon, it would have been nice to sit out for a coffee.
The lifts and escalators for accessing the piste are extremely well planed for most residences in the town, but we found the last 40 or so steps and steep walk up to the apartment in ski boots very hard going. (we do have quite old legs though!)

Very friendly and joyfull people that do their jobs with heart and soul there in Vaujany! We went to the bowling, spa, ice skating rink, QG bar, pizzeria, supermarket, baker, info desk, Skimium ski hire, swimming pool, Montfrais, ESF...and they were all lovely!
Many free activities, small area but well organised and more than enough to do in 1 week.
If you are a cheeselover, you must taste the old Beaufort!
Valmont Residence was perfectly located, silent at night, well equipped, good beddings and top quality service thanks to Nathalie!
Not much to see/visit outside of Vaujany

The sauna is great
The mattress was not comfortable for my back

Large apartments, easily accessible from the main ski station in vaujany. We had a great stay

The view of the waterfall and the mountain is magnificent. The apartment is well equipped and the space is good for a family of 4
The furniture is a bit old and the beds are hard. It would be great to have washing machines available for tenants

The staff is very helpful and tried her best to resolve our problems. The residence is close to commerical and sport facilites, with great landscape (not only the fall, but also you can see milkway from the terrasse in summer night).
You can park the car under the residence, or by the residence, in fact you don't need it during the stay.
Maybe a washing machine will be a plus for summer.

The receptionist at Les Valmonts was lovely - really helpful, replacing missing or broken items on the day we asked. The apartments are on the same level, more or less, as the Place de la Fare where there's a small supermarket whose stock levels vary through the week (opens 7.30am, closes on or about 7.30pm, not sure if shut for lunch) and boulangerie which sell fab bread and pastries from early in the morning (earliest we went was 7am). There's a wood-fired pizza restaurant, La Remise, which does takeaways although it's best to pop in and fill out their order form. They were surprised to find that a popular English choice is margarita plus salami - not on the list but they'll happily make it for you. Delicious but may take nearly an hour from ordering, depending on how busy they are. There are also 2 ski hire places on that level. We used Intersport and they were very helpful when fitting my son who has a prosthetic leg and all the gear we had was excellent.
The queues up and down from the mountain were horrific at half term - and the taxi firm didn't seem to take this into account so we ended up missing check-in on our return and 2 people had to fly back separately with the bags. Allow 3 hours not the suggested 1hr 15 mins. Arriving late on our way there, reception had already shut but they had left our keys in an envelope and a voicemail telling us the code to move between the lower rooms and the upper. The inventory is quite daunting - counting individual items of cutlery, crockery, furniture and with all items priced. However, so far the 500 Euros they swiped on our credit card hasn't been touched so hopefully all fine. Lockers in Les Valmonts are at street level (back door) but for 8 people, let along 10, you'd never have fitted everything in. So one family managed to get the very last locker down by the lifts - worth trying this if you're in resort early or can work out how to book ahead. Those escalators can be tricky if you've got lots of small children trying to stomp up in ski boots.

The staff were very friendly and had excellent customer service. The accommodation had good mountain views and was comfortable. The sauna and steam room were an added bonus.
The accommodation only provides sheets and blankets for bedding. I would prefer duvets.
