Great house for families with teens. Plenty of common and private spaces. The house was very clean and the bathrooms were spotless. The billiard, foosball and ping-pong tables caught our eye when we booked and were used every day we were there. The location was great. Short walk to town and easy drive to the closest "boat" launch between Grand and Shadow lakes for our paddle boards. The deck was perfect to relax on and get some sun with a large grill (plenty of propane). The hot tub was clean and not inundated with chlorine. And the owners were very quick to reply via text or email. The only minor issue we had was that some pans, glasses and utensils were found dirty in the cabinets and draws, presumably by the previous renter. We just threw them in the dishwasher, problem solved. We would recommend that the non-stick pans be replaced as they show lots of use. Overall it was a great stay, and we'd come back again.

The overall experience was great. I also have vacation rentals at the lake where we live, so I'm familiar with rentals. We had a great time. The home could not have been more perfect in terms of location and size it is a beautiful home. One thing I would suggest is the property manager needs to look at little closer at the deep cleaning required in rentals. Especially with the cost of the cleaning that we paid on the contract. There was a big black trash bag by front door when we arrived and the weeds around the back patio were not nice to the eyes, kitchen island was not wiped down from previous tenants lots of dust on furniture around home. Our trip was fantastic, the back deck is a wonderful place to relax.

My friends and I had a great time here. The house is bigger than the pictures do it justice, but that made it feel like everyone wasn’t on top of each other and feel crammed in. Of course the place at some quirks here and there, as all vacation rentals do. However, be sure to double check with management that the door lock is charged, the battery almost went dead by the end of our stay. But, we would definitely stay here again.

Very spacious place, short walk to town and some great hikes. Highly recommend

We rented this VRBO with friends to celebrate a 40th birthday. The space was great for all of us and we enjoyed using the hot tub and game room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, but the kitchen was not. There were crumbs on all the counters when we arrived and the cabinets had several dirty dishes in them. It seemed that used dishes were put right back into the cabinets. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would rent this place again, but I was disappointed in the kitchen and frustrated to pay a cleaning fee and still arrive to a mess.

This is a great place to stay and ride from. Plenty of room for multiple people. The trail is right up the street and if snow is on the side roads, you can ride right from here. We rented from OTTR too which is less than 3 miles away. There are some things to be aware. Not enough garbage bags or paper towels. There's no tissues. Toilet paper is cheap and rough. The pots and pans are old and used. None of the utensils or plates match. Everything is second hand but it does work. Dish soap is the cheap kind, take a lot of scrubbing to get things clean. The property itself could use some TLC. Cabinet drawer and doors in the kitchen are loose. Dishwasher is not leveled. The legs on the chair at the table in the living area are loose. For the price, it could've been nicer.

This truly is a beautiful, unique home. It met all our needs. The hot tub, pool table, and ping pong table were all hits for us. It also has possibly the most comfortable couch I've ever sat on. I highly recommend booking it.

Our family- mom, dad, and 2 teenage boys- stayed here for our week of RMNP exploration. We picked the Grand Lake side because it’s quieter and less crowded than Estes (which we also love). This house was PERFECT! Everyone had space to spread out. The kitchen is AMAZING for cooking! There are so many fun things to do at the house- pool, fusbal, ping pong, basketball, and video games that the boys hardly wanted to leave. The house is warm and comfortable…the perfect spot to relax after a day of hiking. I could not recommend this property more enthusiastically.

Gorgeous area.
Loved proximity to RMNP.
Owner was accessible when we had questions.
We hope to go back at some point.

Roomy comfortable house. Nice for family get togethers. Close to town and the lake. We enjoyed our stay. For the price, supplies are limited. For ex. 8 people and 3 days - we had 2 trash bags and 3 dishwasher pods. Not enough. Grill was dirty and not fully functional, stuff like that. Not a huge deal, but annoying considering the cost.

We absolutely loved the home and the area of Grand Lake! It was spacious for our group of 6 adult and 5 children. We chose to walk to restaurants, activities, and shopping.

Family vacation with 3 families, 11 people.
Location excellent. The facility description in the ad was very accurate. Within walking distance to everything in the downtown area (about 1/2 mile). Beautiful house. Tons of room to spread out in. On-site parking for multiple cars. Lots of amenities. Game ròoms. Fully equipped kitchen. Downside is that all of the couches had minimal support, foam cushions shot. Very difficult for adults to get up from them. Overall, we would highly recommend this place for large groups.
If we would ever be in that area again,we would choose to stay there.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property in the winter. The house is large, with plenty of room to be together or spread out. We enjoyed how three bedrooms had king-sized beds and en-suite baths. The kitchen was well prepared with tons of plates, bowls, glasses, and mugs, as well as all cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. We visited during a very cold and snowy few days, and the house stayed warmed and was very cozy. The refrigerator makes hot water - great for tea and hot chocolate! The only issue was trying to get up into the driveway after the plow had gone by on the street. Took me around five tries in my 4-wheel drive SUV to make it up into the driveway, so be sure to drive the right vehicle in the winter. All in all, a great stay and responsive host!

Location is fantastic, great space for our family trip. Appreciated the great communication with the owner.

House was large and can accommodate many, many people. Lots of bathrooms and room to move around. Kitchen is incredibly stocked with spices and food. Lots of plates etc for your crowd. Great basement with pool table and full bath as well although we didn't have time to enjoy it. Check-in instructions were a little harsh, but apparently they've had issues with renters in the past. House modestly decorated but who cares. All in all, would recommend for this cute little town.

Wonderful time in a cabin in the mountains. Hosts were wonderful. Thank you again for allowing us to share.

There are many things from communication- no response from owner after I reached out.
Cleanliness- a few items not clean upon arrival-
Including dirty dishes.
Finally, lots of items like standard kitchen supplies need upgrades- dull knives, updated can opener, etc

Great place for a family reunion
This house was perfect for our celebration of my parents 65th wedding anniversary. It was nice having king beds with bathrooms in each room. The bunk bed room gave plenty of extra sleeping area for our adult kids who joined us for a couple days. Loved the game rooms and nice large outdoor private patio. We didn’t have a chance to use the hot tub but it was ready for us if we had. You are very close to the lake and although you can’t see it the views inside the pine trees are pretty as the other homes are off in the distance. The town of Grand Lake is a short walk away and there are several nice restaurants to visit there.

Easy process to rent, and instructions were very clear and precise. Unbelievable property. My family of twelve had tons of activities to do and it never seemed crowded. Amazing place!

Exactly As Described
Our family of nine--two doting grandparents, two adult children with their partners, and grandchildren 9, 6, and 3--had a fabulous time. The floor plan was ideal for meeting our needs; each of the three sets of adults had their own bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, including one gorgeous master suite with adjacent loft on the top floor, which provided privacy and respite, but the openness of the kitchen/family room was ideal for gathering. We really made use of the game table in the corner of the family room for 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzles and games. The kids adored the bunk room and had no problems using the powder room just around the corner. If our grandchildren had been just a few years older, I suspect they would've spent all their time in the lowest level where the pool table, foosball, and ping pong table are all located! We arrived with a ton of food and were delighted to find such a large refrigerator and ample pantry space. Don't miss the museum in town that has amazing photos and artifacts from the major fire just one year ago.

Lovely weekend hide away
Property was lovely, spacious and quiet. No lake view but was not expecting one. The only complaint would be the camera in vicinity of the hot-tub, seemed unnecessarily invasive.

Perfect for families
Great propert for an active family vacation. Lots of things for the kids to do after you come back from a long hike or a day on the lake. Driving distance to Winter Park Resort or white water rafting. High end appliances in the kitchen made cooking a couple meals a delight.

Great location for RMNP and Grand Lake activities
We had a great stay. House was well equipped with everything we needed and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after some long hikes in RMNP. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in Grand Lake, as well as the lake and water activities.

Looks much cleaner in the pictures…
The house was not very clean overall. The pics must be photoshopped or very old. Carpets were stained and rugs all rolling up. The house has no air conditioning which we were informed upon arrival to a very hot house. We were told to open windows and use box fans. Quite hard to sleep past sunrise when you have to sleep with all windows/curtains/blinds up to get air. No ceiling fans in any bedrooms so small box fans were all that was available. The downstairs room/garage was untouched by cleaning service and there was grapes still sitting on a table when arrived. This house needs serious TLC to truly be worth the price. Kitchen cabinets were full of leftovers/extras that have been left there. No organization at all in the kitchen.
The location of house and view was awesome! We loved Grand Lake despite the fact that it rained every day.

Perfect fit
The home was just as advertised. The game room and hottub were perfect after a day of RMNP activity. Plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the deck for dinner. Kelly was always prompt in answering our questions.

Family trip
House was pretty clean and close to town. Carpet could use a upgrade. Hot tub, pool table and ping pong were great amenities. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with essentials for cooking but could use more dish towels. A dish drainer would have been handy. Overall a good property for family of 9 to spend a week.

Beautiful!
This property is beautiful. It fit our large group of 10 with plenty of space. We loved the hot tub and large upper deck. We saw a moose everyday! The property was a little dirty, mostly the kitchen floor. The bedding was thin and extra pillows didn’t have any pillowcases. Overall, the experience was good!

Nice stat.
The home was great for our group. Plenty of space to spread out for quiet time, but also spaces for our group of 9 to be together.

Excellent!
We enjoyed our stay and had room for our entire family. House was very clean and we loved that both rooms with the queen beds had their own bathrooms. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. Excellent location with just a short walk into town. We enjoyed the pool table, foosball, ping pong and hot tub. Plenty of activities at the house for everyone.

Group of 8 loved it
There were 8 of us - a mix of couples and singles - and this was the perfect hang out house. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need (and more), there was plenty of room for all of us to eat together and all the amenities needed to create home cooked meals. The bedrooms were very large and were great for a group like ours. We had a few questions about the house and the host was super quick to respond. Able to walk to Grand Lake (the town and the lake) in less than 10 minutes. Such a great location, and great house

Wonderful home!
The house was very clean, spacious, and beautiful. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and be comfortable. It was also very convenient to downtown Grand Lake. And the communication with the property manager was excellent. She gave us some tips on fun things to do in the area and made us feel like she was very available in case there was a problem (which there was not). We would definitely stay here again!
