God mat og lun atmosfære, mye hyggeligere enn et hotell med mye folk.

This is a unique and beautiful small lodge. We enjoyed the 5 course dinner and would highly recommend. The breakfast was amazing. Fabulous views and friendly, helpful staff. They were very accommodating when our flight was canceled and we arrived a day later than planned. Room was well appointed complete with sauna!

Great view. Great room (including sauna). Great staff.
We arranged the stay as a last minute alternative because of flooded roads. Our stay was awesome!

The fantastic food! Janis is an exceptional chef. Breakfast and supper were superb. The room was very beautiful with a small balcony and scenic views.
As we had a room in the eaves the sloping ceiling was a little challenging.

The dinner was outstanding! The best course dinner we've had in Norway. The accommodation was very very cozy.
There seemed to have been some miscommunication / lack of communication and the staff were not informed of the requests sent and agreed upon prior to the arrival. But all in all no problem in the end

Our host Jurgita went above&beyond to make our stay perfect. If there was a rating 20, we would give a 20! Thanks again for everything you have done for us. Also, the dinner was perfect at a very modest price, big compliments to the chef!

A magical place, with very cosy rooms, though somewhat cramped, due to the age and layout of the building. The sauna in the bathroom is a nice touch, the bed was comfy and we had everything we needed, apart from a kettle for making tea. The view is lovely and the balcony would be great in warmer weather. The restaurant is excellent, with uniquely interesting and well-presented food.
The room is cramped for the price. We had to travel in UK half term, so the price could be lower at other times.

Excellent breakfast and dinner. Plus warm, charming hostess.

Wonderful view, food and staff. It's also the first place I've ever stayed with an en suite sauna.

Loved everything about the property - the location, the view, the room.... beautiful, well appointed room with an en-suite shower room and sauna! We had dinner and the food was exceptional. We had a tasting menu where each course was a surprise and each came with a story from Kim, a great wine pairing and every one was delicious. Breakfast was so good too - local blueberry or raspberry juice and a mixed platter of meats, bacon, omelette, homemade muesli & Greek yogurt, avocado, fruit, rolls, the best coffee.... it was generous but the perfect amount. Kim and his staff are so lovely too - chatty and interested in what we were doing and ideas about drives and walks to see the best of the area. I wish I could ski because you can ski to the door and have a snack or drink and take in the ambience - I bet it’s fantastic in the winter... we might just come back anyway and pretend to have been skiing!
Nothing at all - would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks Kim!
