About this house rental
Enjoy the charm of “eleven-eleven,” a modernized yet classic Tybee beach house.
4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, plus an indoor dressing room/beach shower with hot water. 5 minute walk to the much-desired, residential mid-island 12th Street Beach and right around the corner from the island’s grocery store. Four short blocks to the Tybee Pier, restaurants and shops. 18 miles from Downtown Savannah.
Being more centrally located, eleven-eleven isn’t far from anything. Also not far from Tybee’s scenic “back river”: great for kayaking, A-J’s Dockside restaurant, and a fishing pier. You can do it all without having to use a vehicle, but biking is also recommended with the island’s bike trails.
Eleven-eleven sits on 3 large lots, providing a feeling of privacy, plenty of space to park and a yard to enjoy outdoor activities and games, something you won’t find at a condo.
Originally built in 1940, the cottage has been remodeled, doubled in size and updated while keeping some of its vintage charm. Guests often comment that they feel relaxed and at home at eleven-eleven—and thankful that they passed up the typical cookie-cutter hotel or condo for a home away from home.
The living room and wide sunporch area upstairs create a large L-shaped living area that easily seats a group of family and friends. The living area flows to one of the best spots in the house, the screened in porch complete with a swing, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or reading. Nearby you’ll find the Master bedroom and a window nook with a table and seating for three. The galley kitchen upstairs is fully stocked, has a lot of counter space and is complete with a sink on each end. This long kitchen area also boasts a half-bath, TV, and breakfast nook area that seats 2 on barstools. Preparing food for a group is made simple, and serving it is too. The adjacent dining area is complete with a custom-built table with chairs for 8 and a buffet.
The Master bedroom (upstairs) is furnished with a king bed, flat screen TV, DVD player, and daybed with trundle-perfect for young children. The master bath has his and her sinks and a walk-in shower. Downstairs, you’ll find 3 guest rooms, another full bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower and a full-size washer/dryer. Guest Room 1 has a king bed; Guest Room 2, a standard bed; and Guest Room 3, a queen bed. Guest Rooms 1 and 3 include flat screen TVs and DVD players. Guest Room 2 includes a media closet with books and DVDs.
There is also a screened porch downstairs and the gated area under the house. Once used as a garage for a boat, you’ll now find an enclosed beach shower (great for not tracking sand inside), a gas grill and a trusty beach cart for wheeling your belongings with you to the ocean. This area can be locked to protect belongings too large to bring inside (e.g., chairs, kayaks, bicycles).
At Eleven-Eleven we give you a warm welcome and invite you to experience living on ‘Tybee Time’, as the locals say. Kick back, relax and enjoy your getaway.

This property is in a great location for walking to the ocean and the back river. Unfortunately, the amenities are not as described and upon entry, we quickly noticed the house was not clean. The closets were messy with crammed in blankets, luggage, and debris. The floors were gritty and everything was dusty. We notified management and they kindly offered to send someone to clean. But after hours on the road and feeling anxious to meet up with family we decided not to have the intrusion. The WiFi did not work until several days into our stay. But management created a hot spot for us. There were also multiple issues with the kitchen. We enjoy cooking dinner and other meals at rentals. But the kitchen has poor utensils and pots and pans to accomplish this. There are no knives that cut well and many pans have the worn out scratched up coating that is flaking off. The refrigerator is nice and big and works well. And the dishwasher worked well.

The accommodations were wonderful. We loved the sun porch, large kitchen, the decor. The layout of the house offers a lot of privacy. Only recommend- is to switch some of the beds to twins to offer more sleeping options.

The location is great. However, the downstairs AC unit was broken upon arrival. We were notified and assured that it would be fixed by Monday. It was NOT. It did get fixed the night before we left to come home.. There were some circumstances that hindered the repair and we were offered only ONE night to stay at another location. No follow ups unless I CALLED , then put on hold for a long period of time. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets upon arrival and the silverware drawer. I was promised a refund on the cleaning fee. We will see… The dryer does NOT work. Yes, management was told. We love Tybee and will be back but definitely not with this group if we can help it. Really disappointed all around with our stay.

Our granddaughter celebrated her 10th birthday in the fall of 2023 and her parents wanted to celebrate with what they call a 10 year adventure. This meant she could choose a vacation location. She wanted to go to the beach and Tybee Island was chosen by the family.
Our home away from home was unique and fun. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants.
Some items that were listed for the home weren’t available like a beach cart and the outside shower was actually a water hose (just a twist on words but definitely not an inconvenience).
If we plan another trip to Tybee Island we would look at staying on the same property.

Great Property,
Beautifully decorated.
Grass needed to be cut when we arrived.
Front door and porch entry could be spruced up a bit.
No iron.
Beach towels would have been a great touch since we came in by plane.
Would love to go there again.

The location was good, only a few blocks from the beach I placed a coaster on an end table only to notice the table hadn’t been dusted in sometime. Looking out of a front window, dead bugs and spider webs. Garbage in the bedroom I used had not been removed and there were corroded batteries in the remote. Aside from the cleaning issues the house was adequate for 5 adults and 2 small children.

Loved the location, loved the amenities, I would gladly return.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. The spaciousness of the home was a highlight! However, we encountered some challenges with the kitchen amenities. The pots, pans, and sheet pans could use an upgrade as they were not very functional(sheet pans do not fit in the oven). Additionally, we noticed issues with the oven coils; they seemed uneven, and the front right one was not functioning properly. Despite these minor inconveniences, we appreciated the vintage charm of the house.

A place to relax, relax, relax and enjoy. The home is lovely and well kept. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
The screened-in porch was great for enjoying the breeze.
We had a marvelous time and hope to be back soon!

The house was accurately described if not under sold. It was a cozy house with great character. We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed ourselves very much. I recommend reading EVERYTHING the owner is kind enough to have available. Had we did this the first day, we would not have rented chairs etc. Very clean and has pretty much anything you would need. Reminded me of a true island get away from long ago. Nice trip.

Stayed 7 nights and and everything we needed was there. Only thing we provided was food. House was clean and had plenty of bedrooms. Location was perfect.

This property was a delight. It was just a few blocks away from the beach, and had easy access to everything. This is a lovely home, and was just as advertised.

Quaint, many nooks and crannies. Beds very comfortable.Back and side lawn can use sprucing. Siding needs to be pressure washed

Floor plan a bit awkward. But location was good and plenty of space.

Loved location of property. Exterior and porches need some tlc but enjoyed the home. Did not like having to pick up door code from rental company. Prior rentals we were e-mailed the code to the door which was more convenient.

Lovely older Tybee Beach house
We have been vacationing on Tybee for 37 years and have seen this property many times on our morning walks. We were excited to be staying there this time. It has a lot of space, a huge kitchen, two wonderful screened porches and is an easy walk to the beach. It was well supplied and even had some beach chairs and a beach cart that we used. We had a wonderful stay (5 adults and 3 children). The only negative is the 60+ years of the owners collected stuff that was everywhere. That certainly did not dampen our enjoyment of the Island, but it really should be cleaned out a bit.

Do not rent this property.
The house was old, kitchen was unusable. Too much clutter in the house
Air-conditioning didn't work. Not clean
Cut up layout of house. Rental company moved us to another property
It was wonderful.

Rodent problem
The house had mice that left droppings everywhere, got into our food. It was unsuitable for rental, especially with children. Items were old, rusted and not what you would expect in a place you pay money to stay. Poor quality. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great location and good for cooking
We stayed for 9 nights with a group of 7, including 3 kids (aged 2-13). The location is perfect. Just a short 2 block walk to the beach, and far enough from the pier to avoid weekend crowds. The included cart was perfect for hauling stuff, in addition to our own wagon. The kitchen has what you need to cook, but no frills. Bring your own knives, which is true of every rental. The house is old and has quirks, but nothing that reduced our vacation fun. It's both good and bad for kids. There are a lot of decorations that seem like they would break easily, so we worried about causing destruction. But there's also tons of toys. And the toys are in drawers and cabinets all over the house, so the kids were constantly discovering something new to divert their attention. The only major draw back is that there is no outdoor shower. The shower under the house has not been kept up and we didn't step foot in it after looking at it on day 1.

Tybee is a Great Place for vacay
Me and my family had an awesome time. I was very spacious, clean and great location. The neighbors are extremely friendly by the time we left they new my grandchildren's names. The shortwalk to the beach with the grandchildren was really fun it was just a few steps away. The house provided us with chairs, wagon and sand toys for the beach. Overall I have no complaints and I will visit again soon.

Unknown visit while away
On our first day in rental, we returned from a late lunch, and found someone exiting our rental, in which we had all of our belongings. We were made aware, he was from property management company, there to repair a towel rod. There was no notification from rental agency of this visit. We received an in person visit from rental property management personnel, and we’re told the rental agreement gave them permission to enter property at any time, obviously without any notification. Be careful what you agree to!!!

vacation during a pandemic?!?!?!?!?! crazy, right?
it worked out well as the property was exactly where we needed it to be: not too close to Tybrisa as revelers seemed to almost completely ignore any social distancing & mask ordinances; about 3 blocks from the beach; on a quiet street (2nd Ave). The home is one of the older ones but it has been maintained well. The owner loves this home and her Tybee refuge and it shows in this house.

Vintage charm doesn’t do this home justice!
This home boasted vintage charm.... however, it was so much more than that. We visit tybee at least 1x/year and this is our absolute favorite home to stay at. Group consensus was that it felt like home or a trip to grandma’s house. It was quirky, fun, well kept, and loaded with games and fun for those rainy evenings. My husband works for Thermador and to discover the vintage thermador in the kitchen was such a wonderful surprise (being that I always say I will never cook on anything but a thermador)! We truly hope that the owner, Anne, reads this, we feel like we know her now ❤️ Thanks for sharing your awesome home with us! We hope to stay there for our future visits❤️ Can’t express how much we loved this home!!!!! Agency staff was super friendly and check in/out was a breeze! We also adored the location and the bikes were such a special extra touch, especially for me waddling around the island at 8.5 months pregnant :) the blue one was my saving grace ❤️ If u r looking for a home to visit, please put this one on the top of your list, but respect it and the owner. Both seem to be a one of a kind jewel on Tybee. Probably not the best house for party goers, but that’s okay- but a great family vacation home, this is perfect!!!!

Wonderful place for a family vacation
This was a great house in a great location for our family vacation. It was very clean and homey. We really appreciated the history and care that was obviously given to the home. It came equipped with everything you may need and more. I rental agency was excellent as well; very friendly and informative.

Home away from home. Quite neighborhood with a lot of privacy.
This Tybee home was well laid out to accomodate our family of 7. It had an external ice machine which really was helpful for our beach activities. There were a few insects but nothing to the extreme, just living in the south! A couple of the mattress's in the downstairs bedrooms were harder than we were used to. The home had eveything we could have needed except a pool. We would highly recommened this home to other families of our size.

Wonderful family beach home
We enjoyed our stay very much The location was ideal for walking to the beach, going to the playground, getting supplies at the market, and walking to get ice cream. Our three grandchildren loved playing in the side yard and riding bikes on the bike trail in front of the house. The home was ideal for our family of 8!

Wonderful family time
Eleven Eleven was the ONLY home listed on Tybee that offered a dining room table large enough to accommodate 8 people! It is a wonderful place for families to relax and be together. Our family of 6 adults and 2 grandkids loved being in a cottage on a quiet street with yard space and screened porches and comfortable beds and room for us all. Plenty of privacy and plenty of together room. Anne was very responsive to our e-mails and helped take the mystery out of what to expect when we got there. The house is represented well in the photographs. The kitchen is large and comfortable. The cottage offers easy walks to wonderful beaches, bicycle riding, easy access to restaurants and a great coffee shop! A wonderful and easy place to relax and restore!

What a fun place for an MCG reunion!
I am a repeat renter of this wonderful classic cottage. I help host a Medical College of Georgia College of Nursing annual reunion. This is one of the only rentals on Tybee that has a dining room large enough to hold all of the nurses at one table. There are also 2 porches and several areas where the husbands can gather to talk and eat while we nurses gather in the dining room. The kitchen is huge and a great area for prep work and to set out food. This is a wonderful house and everyone had a great time. We came back here because we had it here last year and everyone voted to have it here again. This may become a tradition! It is a close walk to the beach, the beds are comfortable, the master bedroom is fabulous. It was one of the only rentals that had two king size beds which was great for the 3 couples who hosted the event. The large yard is great for outdoor fun and we set up a bean bag toss game there. There is plenty of room for parking too which was a problem at other rental houses we had looked at. The owner, Anne, could not be nicer and she always makes sure we have everything we need. The Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals staff are also so friendly and respond immediately to any calls. The home is so cozy and homey and it makes me happy to be there. I just love this place and think everyone who rents it will. It's perfect whether it is just a few people or a large group. It has something for everyone!

Perfect Vacation Spot
This was our First family vacation for years, with a new grandson to boot. The cottage was all that has been promised: Spacious, well furnished with quality items only and with an abundance space for the items you brought with you . It is so thoughtfully layed-out that it facilitates a large group of people - and need for privacy likewise. We enjoyed biking on the island; the bike pathway is just steps from the front door. We also enjoyed the ability to walk where we wanted to go. We did not have to load the car and drive to get to the beach, grocery, restaurants, and shops. However, the thing we probably enjoyed the most was the home away from home feel and everything that we needed was there for our use, even all the beach accessories to play and a cart to take it there.
The house is situated on a beautiful lot with lots of lush landscaping all around. Nice Quiet neighborhood but central to everything. The master bedroom, located uptsairs, was very comfortable and a hub for my daughter and I My family also commented on how comfortable all the beds were downstairs. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out throughout the house. The kitchen has everything you need and the dining room table is massive - perfect for large groups! This property makes you feel like its not a rental but a friends house a very good friend that you can drop in on and stay no pressure. I even had room for a weekend relative from Georgia and her granddaughter. They loved it and the location.
Both the property rental agency and owner Anne were very accomodating. Thanks again!

Tybee Time!
The lovely white cottage, "Eleven Eleven", was just what the doctor ordered for a relaxing, fun time with our family. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren in the most delightful Old Tybee way. Everything about the cottage was perfect! Plenty of gathering spaces as well as alone-time spaces allowed us to gather and visit or sit and ponder. Additionally, everywhere we looked, there was something interesting to see and to admire. The owners of this cottage have provided a well-appointed and outfitted place for families who appreciate the homeyness and comfort of having everything needed for a stress-free vacation. Such a nice change from the stripped down condos we have rented in the past! There was even a beach stroller for our use...our infant grandchild did not have to be toted!
We enjoyed biking on the island; the bike pathway is just steps from the front door. We also enjoyed the ability to walk where we wanted to go. We did not have to load the car and drive to get to the beach, grocery, restaurants, and shops...very nice change from our "at home" way of life! However, the thing we probably enjoyed the most was the "down under" of the house! Our grandchildren could play there in safety and in times of inclement weather.
Everything was perfect for us for a low-key, relaxing vacation! We WILL return for another visit.

First family vacation in Tybee Island
This is a lovely Tybee cottage and in the most desired area. We truly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It rained the first couple of days but then weather turned beautiful and we got to enjoy the beautiful beach and explore the area. The location is perfect and the best spot on the Island with the best beach! Also the beds were very comfortable - we got some much needed rest and relaxation.

Charming Creative Cottage
This cottage has everything you need. We took our family for a week of celebration after graduation and to celebrate a special birthday. We had two families and there was plenty of room. There are two large screened in porches to enjoy your morning coffee or just to read a book. You can walk to the beach in just a few short minutes and take the wagon full of all of the beach supplies that are furnished for you. We all enjoyed riding the bikes around the quaint neighborhood. The grocery store is a short walk away as well as several delicious restaurants. The house is full of history and the owner has left books and pictures around to show their love for the property. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a large but homey place to stay. We all want to come back again next year and hope that this home is available when we do.

Happy weekend reunion getaway
I rented this house for a 3 day weekend and had a wonderful time. The weather was dreadful--cold and raining and we never made it to the beach. But we didn't mind because this house was so charming we enjoyed ourselves anyway! I was able to host a fun dinner with several other couples because the kitchen and dining room were large and the table had room for everyone. The house was perfect for the 5 of us who stayed there and we enjoyed reading about the history of it. The owner and office staff couldn't have been nicer. I recommend this house highly to anyone who wants to have more than just an ordinary hotel room. It is a delightful place to stay! I didn't want to leave and I hope to rent it again when I return. While staying there, I felt like I lived on Tybee for one brief shining moment and it was magical! :)

Just Perfect!
We recently traveled to Tybee for my boyfriend's 40th birthday. There were 6 people in our group, some couples, some singles, and some who had never met one another. Luckily, the cottage had great space for all of us. We had plenty of room to socialize together, or have some quiet time to ourselves. It had everything we needed, and more. It is in a quiet area, but close to everything, including a short walk to a beautiful beach.
This home is very special. You can tell that the owner takes great pride in this family beach cottage and when you stay there, it's like visiting with someone you know. The family pictures, decorations and little touches did not go unnoticed. I really enjoyed checking out the furniture and artwork throughout the house. There is a book of information about the home and some stories about the furnishings and renovations, which was definitely interesting. The owner was very helpful with recommendations for places to eat and shop, and answered all of our questions. She is very active in maintaining this home and wants it to meet everyone's expectations. She goes above and beyond!
I think all of us would recommend this property to others, in fact, we are hoping to go back again with some of our friends who weren't able to join us this time, and the family wants to make it a yearly trip! I hope to spend more time in this perfect cottage!

wonderful vacation cottage
Our family of 8 adults and 2 small children fit comfortably into this spacious cottage. The dining room with its large table was perfect for meals together. The L shaped living room is lined with windows, creating a light and airy atmosphere, conducive to lolling and reading, or swapping stories. The several screened porches and little niches with a desk and chair give people the opportunity to have some quiet space alone to read or write. The master bedroom is luxurious, and the 3 downstairs bedrooms are pleasant and comfortable. There is a set of cupboards upstairs loaded with toys to play with indoors, and downstairs there is a little wagon and beach toys, making the place perfect for young children. The kitchen is well-stocked with pans and utensils; the owners have thought of everything needed to make a perfect holiday for their renters. Best of all, the beautiful sandy beach is only a few minutes walk away.
