Very good

We were welcomed by Al who gave us fantastic information about how to get around Cambridge and what to see and do and even help with the buses. The room was small but very comfortable. It was a good spot to stay in Cambridge for a couple of days.

Ideal for our weekend for a graduation.

Warm welcome from Al the owner. The guest house looked recently modernised and was very well maintained. Our room was warm and clean with plenty of tea and coffee on offer, large bathroom with shower. Facilities in Autumn House were great. Left to your own devices, the kitchen/dining room was fully equipped if you want to self cater, and again. additional tea and coffee available. Breakfast was cereal and yogurt which was fine for us, but a large Aldi and Tesco are just a short walk away or on the main bus route into the City.

Superb

Al is such a nice and friendly host, very helpful. The room is clean and warm, with all essentials and complimentary yogurt. Free parking and great location to drive around Cambridge.

Very clean and very comfortable

The room was very warm and comfortable during my stay in winter. The bed is perfect to sleep well. The amenities were better than expected (free water bottles, free cookies for my coffee or tea). All together the rooms and the house itself was very clean and quiet.

Have stayed before and will stay again.

Autumn House is the most amazing place where we have stayed before and will stay again. It is really clean everywhere and the room is very comfortable. In the bathroom, there are added extras like a shower cap, cotton wool, Q tips etc. In the morning, there is access to a range of cereals and yoghurts. The No 3 Bus goes from 50 feet from Autumn House and goes straight into town. Cambridge is somewhere you need to leave your car and use public transport. The Owner, Al De Luca is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Ten out of ten! Clean and tidy room. Dreamy kitchen for travellers. Super friendly host.

Cleanliness and tidiness are the two biggest advantages I would highly recommend! The free snacks (e.g. cereal and yogurt) and facilities of the kitchen are especially outstanding.

A great place, I will gladly stay here again.

Spacious and new room and bathroom, a lot of items, opportunity to use the kitchen and the washing machine, a great host. Quiet place and good public transport connection to city center and station.

The mattress was too soft to my taste.

A real find.

The Host Al De Luca was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The whole hall, dining area and bedroom were absolutely spotless. I remember thinking that if the room was on 'Four in a Bed', no-one would find anything amiss. There was a free breakfast of cereal, milk and yoghurt. In the room, there was plentiful tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. The room was warm, which was helpful as the weather was cool. There was a bus stop nearby with frequent buses into the centre. We left our car there. They took bus passes. Would thoroughly recommend Autumn House.

Lovely place, would definitely return

Second time at Autumn House and enjoyed my stay. Good area with a nice walk into town or a bus stop 5mins walk away. The room had everything I needed, especially liked the bottled water in the room. Good to be able to have use of the kitchen/diner. Nice to not have to stay in your room the whole time. Al was a great host, helped me out quickly with a problem I had which was great. Would definitely recommend a visit and would definitely stay again if I come back to Cambridge

Only slight problem I had was noisy guests in the next room, kept me up on the second night. Not something that could be helped. Also a personal issue, the TV was quite small, was difficult to see, especially where it was situated.

A first class accommodation in a good location.

Al made us welcome from the minute we arrived. He has provided every comfort for guests. Everything is spotlessly clean and fitted to the highest standard. An excellent place to stay.

Very clean. Quiet neighborhood.

Only 3 parking spaces at the hotel which were occupied all the time. You can park on the street but in the day it is also difficult to find a place.

Great Amenities

Fantastic facilities with everything you need to cook or reheat food / store in the fridge etc.

I booked a room with a garden view but there wasn't much of a view, just a flat roof so was a bit disappointed after specifically booking a garden view. Room was a little cosy and would have preferred a KS bed but it was a lovely house.

If you do not have a room to the road - OK

Pleasant owner. Nice and clean bathroom. Good wiffi connection. Great free parking.

We had two rooms - the room with windows facing the main road was very disturbed by heavy traffic. It is a long walk to the town centre. The city quarter is a bit worse.

Terrific Stay!

Sparkling clean, freshly renovated, granite-finished bathroom, very personable Innkeeper, plenty of easy parking on site and on adjacent street. Found Cambridge itself to be an especially fascinating and history-rich city with a very friendly vibe.

Very pleasant short stay

From entering the premises it was evident the accommodation was in immaculate condition. The room was of ample size and the bathroom was fantastic with a superb walk in shower and was nicely decorated. The hospitality tray was a nice touch and we appreciated being able to help ourselves to the cereal and yoghurt provided. Very convenient to the bus stop into town, journey time approximately 15 mins. The owner and host is very friendly and helpful.

As the bed was directly underneath the window there was some light coming in which woke us early in the morning but we were able to sleep again. The room was rather warm but once we worked out how to adjust the radiator we had a comfortable sleep.

Lovely stay in Cambridge

Everything was perfect! The room and the bathroom are very clean. For your breakfast you can have a cup of tea/coffee or chocolate in your room with some cereals or yogurts. The host is very helpful and kind. I would recommend it!
