Our room was very nice and comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need on vacation.
The accommodation was clean and well maintained.
The owner Janet was very friendly and helpful and gave us a number of good tips for places to visit in Hull even when the weather was bad.
4.1
Large comfy room with decent size shower room. Bonus fridge, microwave, kettle too! Breakfast was great, tailor made to match our wants.
A little more information on local transport and local shops / restaurants would have been helpful, but I guess that's what the Internet is for!
4.1
The room had everything we needed and the addition of a fridge /microwave and kettle in the room made it easy to do packups over the weekend for trips out and about.
Janet was really friendly and accommodating.
Shower was lovely and hot, room clean and set out well.
Not a problem for us at all but it would help on the booking site to say whether rooms are at front or rear of property (unless I just missed this bit!) Our twin was at the front which wasn't too bad unless sirens came past and as we were staying at a quiet time. It might not be great for a light sleeper.

Parking. Quiet good nights sleep in comfortable bed. Good shower and well cooked breakfast.

Where it was close to our son's; one large room; one ok ; time of checking in
Coldness of rooms. The lady in charge said they would put the heating on early evening as we arrived about 1.30pm and we got in about 11pm expecting our rooms, and our daughter's room was even colder on arrival, to be comfortable but they weren't. We could tell the radiators hadn't been on. Cold on getting up too. It is very cold at present 25th March. One side lamp and switch behind the single bed, had twins, very behind. Had to stretch till it hurt to reach the switch

The guest house was very Clean, the room was spacious and also had a fridge and microwave, Janet was very friendly and helpful

Location is convenient for a work visit to the University of Hull. It was handy to have a microwave and fridge in the room, along with plenty of coffee and tea making facilities.
The room was adequate but not the most comfortable. Heating was on but the windows had quite bad draughts so it was a bit cold and noisy.

Charming place in good location. The room was spacious and comfortable with an en suite bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, and window), small refrigerator, and ability to make coffee and tea. Check-in was easy, and the host was gracious and welcoming. Would stay here again.

Good location for my needs. Spacious room and bathroom. Fridge and microwave in room. Don't provide microwave container or utensils
Abrupt owner. Room 7 guess information book telling guests how much she pays booking.com and telling you to book direct. Telling you bathroom isn't a wet room but shower head shoots water over your head passed the small shower curtain splashing over the back of bath and on the floor. Cold room heating on small amount of the day. No utensils or microwave container provided.

Clean & comfortable. Very tasty breakfast.
floor a bit creaky - was a bit worried how noisy it might be downstairs when we were walking around.

Janet was an excellent person to meet

I was visiting Hull University and it was just the right distance away. Near enough to be super convenient, far enough for a decent walk each day. Oh, and the breakfasts served up by Janet were excellent.
Nothing at all.
4.1
Good value for money
Room faces a busy road and the windows are not double glazed. Traffic noise woke us up early
4.1
Quiet room overlooking beautiful garden.
Shower curtain static. Could do with a mirror in the room for ladies as the bathroom is poorly lit.
4.1
The room we were allocated was on the top floor with great view of the garden from the balcony. The bus stops were very close and access to the city centre was easy.
The stair to the top floor were steep.
4.1
Staff very rude on check in
Nothing superior about room
Property in general neglect
