A lovely little place to stay, off the beaten track.
The dogs throughly enjoyed it.
An added bonus for us was having Netflix and a very comfortable bed.
Would definitely stay there again.

Great little hideaway in a great location. A lovely place to unwind for a few days. Our pooch loved it too! Very quick communication when I had to email about an issue. Will recommend!

Second time at the Summer House. The best indicator i can give is i read 2 books.
The location near to Lyndhurst and to Lymington is perfect for reducing travelling. Never realised how close we were to Beaulieu and Bournemouth. A day at Beaulieu wasn't long enough so a return is on the books. Travelling to Bournemouth and other seaside places is a waste of the tranquility of the stay. Walking the New Forest, on the doorstep is a dream.
We will return in a heart. Alan

A lovely property with a secure garden for my dog and access to the owner’s garden where you can meet Tilly the friendly black lab. Richard was an exceptional host and came to say hello after check in. The location is great. Down a very quiet country lane but close to both the New Forest and the Solent.

Totally sweet summerhouse, nice and private and very secure. Unfortunately the weather didn't oblige for most of my stay but everything I needed was there to make it comfortable and homely. There's a lovely farm shop and small garden centre nearby if you need anything in a hurry rather than going to the supermarket.

Well equipped kitchen and quiet spot in a small space, secure garden outside for the dog.

The summerhouse was cosy, warm, clean and well equiped. The bed was very comfortable and would recommend staying there. The welcome pack and instructions were very helpful and clear. Beautiful location very quiet. Looking forward to going back at some stage.

Sadly the weather is beyond everyone's control, but the Summerhouse more than made up for the rain.

Lovely little summerhouse - perfect location for dog walking. This was our third visit since 2020.
Homely, cosy and had everything we needed - apart for this year we couldn’t find a bread knife, so our sandwiches and toast were a rather funny shape after being hacked about (no big deal lol, but it would be handy to have one).
I’m sure we will return again.

An ideal stay, the peace and quiet was welcome.
The Dog love to run in and out. Would have been better if it hadn't rained.
Thanks

Prerty Summerhouse at the bottom of the owner's garden, yet manages to stay totally separate and private. Had all the amenities we required. Loved that local places to eat were easily reached on foot.
Lots of places to walk the dogs and Lymington for shops, sightseeing etc about 10 minutes away in the car.
Overall perfect for a short stay and we enjoyed it.

Had a fab stay at the Summerhouse. Location was brilliant and there is a gorgeous walk through the forest right outside the gate. Also brilliantly located for the beach and accessing other parts of the new forest. Would highly recommend for a very relaxing stay.

The Summerhouse is a little gem. Exactly as advertised, clean, bright, comfortable, peaceful and secluded and in an excellent position for touring the area by bike. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the sunshine and birdsong in the evenings. Thank you.
p.s. There is an excellent community shop in Pilley.

Spent a wonderful four nights at this property. Summer House was warm and cosy and had everything we needed. Richard was a good and honest host who supplied us with all the information we needed. The owls at night and deer in the morning were an added bonus. Hope to return in warmer times to be able to sit out on the decking and enjoy the garden

A lovely quiet retreat situated in the New Forest. Clean and tidy and a great base to venture out on walks in the forest and trips to the coast.

A cosy, compact retreat but with everything that was needed. Tranquil setting and a small enclosed area to let the dogs out into, although I understand that the beautiful gardens, which are not so secure are available for use too. Helpful advice shared with us to make our arrival and stay stress free. A lovely break for us!

Had great time in the summer house had everything we needed. The location was good for walks for the dog and not far to different location. Loved the electric gates and dog loved the garden as the weather was on our side so spent alot of time there. Would definitely would recommend as the 3 days we were they was a great escape for few days.

The Summerhouse was exactly what we expected and wanted, peace and quiet. October weather isnt the best for walking and beaches, also village touring, but you could. Jean and I bought our books and slippers, which were all we needed.
The Summerhouse is tiny but has everything you could ask for. Not sure 4 could stay there especially in bad weather, but they could.
Lymington Milford on Sea and Lyndhurst are just a few minutes away, with the promenade at Milford our favourite place to stretch our legs, bracing though.
Richard is a dream owner, believe me we've know some that aren't, very tesponsive and courteous, but happy to jeave you alone if that's what you wamt.
We plan to return in 2023 and explore the myriad of tracks and walks, but in the sunshine. The Summerhouse is dog friendly so my little friend will join us.
Overall 5 out of 5, can't really find a fault with the Summerhouse. One thing though, entering the A337 at the end of the lane is challenging.
As i cooked for Jean and I each evening, we only dined out 1 night, our last night. Just 4 minutes away the Red Lion is an absolute gem of a place. You really have to dine there, beer ain't too bad either.
Until 2023. Best wishes from Alan and Jean
